To upload and schedule a video playlist in Livepush, open the relevant Pre-recorded Live dashboard, add your videos, arrange their order, and choose Schedule For Later to set a date and time. Add at least one video before scheduling. If you want the playlist to repeat continuously rather than run as a single scheduled event, enable Loop Video separately.
Before you start: choose the right Livepush dashboard
Sign in to Livepush and open the dashboard for the relevant Pre-recorded Live stream. This is the area for uploading videos and scheduling pre-recorded broadcasts; it is different from the regular dashboard used to send a live source to multiple destinations. If you have not created a Pre-recorded Live stream yet, follow Livepush’s separate setup guide: How to set up a Pre-recorded Live stream.
Upload videos and build the playlist
- Open the video controls. In the Pre-recorded Live dashboard, select Add Video. Some older Livepush instructions use Upload Video under Scheduler Videos; use the corresponding control shown in your dashboard.
- Select or import your videos. Choose files on your computer, or use one of the import options Livepush lists: Google Drive, Dropbox, or a downloadable web URL.
- Add the files to the playlist. Select the videos you want and choose Add to Playlist. If the dashboard shows an upload step, wait for the upload to finish before proceeding.
- Arrange the sequence. Put the videos in the order you want them to play and check the sequence. In a multi-video playlist, videos play back-to-back as one continuous stream.
Livepush lists MP4, MOV, and MKV as supported formats and recommends MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio. Its product page claims support for up to 4K resolution and 30 or 60 FPS depending on plan; these are Livepush specifications, not independent test results. Schedule a playlist for a future start
- Confirm that at least one video has been added to the playlist. Livepush requires a video before you can schedule a new event.
- From the Pre-recorded Live dashboard, choose Schedule For Later.
- Select the event’s date and time, and check the time zone shown in the scheduling controls.
- Choose Save Schedule. Livepush says the event will start automatically at the selected date and time.
Labels can vary as Livepush updates its interface. Older instructions refer to Create New Schedule and Save Event; follow the equivalent scheduling controls in your current dashboard.

Choose between a one-time event and a repeating stream

Looping is a separate setting from scheduling: scheduling selects when an event begins, while looping determines whether the playlist repeats.
What happens after scheduling
Livepush describes scheduled broadcasts as running from its cloud, so your computer or encoder does not need to stay on after scheduling. For multi-video playlists, Livepush says it re-encodes the videos to common encoding parameters to reduce transition glitches caused by mismatched source encodings. These are service descriptions from Livepush; plan terms and capabilities can change.

Troubleshooting common issues
- You cannot schedule the event: Add at least one video to the playlist first, then reopen the scheduling controls.
- The playlist plays in the wrong order: Return to the playlist controls, arrange the videos as intended, and verify the sequence before scheduling.
- The stream ends instead of repeating: Scheduling alone does not create a loop. Enable Loop Video if you want repeated playback.
- You cannot use a continuous multi-video playlist: Check whether your current plan includes the 24/7 schedule channel.
- A video will not import or play as expected: Confirm that the upload or import completed. Livepush recommends MP4 encoded with H.264 video and AAC audio.
- The button names do not match these steps: Livepush’s older guide uses different labels from its newer help instructions. Look for the equivalent upload, playlist, or schedule control in your current Pre-recorded Live dashboard.
