To enter Epoch Operation: Taubound, complete Vor’s Prize, open Navigation during the event, choose Eris, and select the temporary Praghasa node. The event bypasses Eris’s normal Junction and Star Chart requirements for eligible Tenno. You then run Eris missions, collect Moonflesh from Infested enemies and Operation Alerts, and spend it at Praghasa.
The Hex and The Old Peace are not prerequisites for Taubound. They are required only for the separate, permanent Tau Prologue Quest.
What you need before starting Taubound
Taubound has one operation-specific prerequisite: your account must have completed Vor’s Prize. You do not need to clear Eris through the ordinary Star Chart route, and you do not need either of the quests tied to the Tau Prologue.

Complete Vor’s Prize
Vor’s Prize is the gate for this operation. Once the quest is marked complete, your account qualifies for the temporary Eris access described in Digital Extremes’ Epoch Operation: Taubound announcement. If Vor’s Prize is still active in your Codex, finish it before looking for Praghasa.

Check the event window
The published 2026 schedule runs from October 15 at 11:00 a.m. through November 17 at 11:00 a.m. The announcement does not specify a time zone in the schedule quoted here, so compare the in-game event notice with your local time. Digital Extremes also states that Taubound will not be rerun. Praghasa, Moonflesh contributions, and event rewards therefore depend on logging in during this window.
How to enter Praghasa step by step
- Finish Vor’s Prize. Confirm in the Codex or quest screen that the quest is complete rather than merely started.
- Open Navigation from your Orbiter. Use the normal Star Chart interface; there is no separate launcher for Taubound.
- Select Eris. During the operation, eligible Tenno can access all Eris nodes even if their normal Star Chart progression has not reached the required Junctions.
- Choose Praghasa. Praghasa appears as the operation node on Eris. Open it to see the contribution and reward interface before launching a mission.
- Run an Eris mission. Kill qualifying Infested enemies to earn Moonflesh. Operation Alerts on Eris provide a separate fixed award when completed.
- Return to Praghasa and contribute. Use the node’s interface to submit Moonflesh for the currently listed operation rewards. Your contributions also count toward the community total associated with Contegorus armor unlocks.
What the Praghasa screen is for
Praghasa is both the entry point and the operation’s contribution hub. It is where you inspect available rewards, hand in Moonflesh, and see progress toward community milestones. You do not spend Moonflesh from an ordinary Eris mission node; return to Praghasa whenever you want to make a contribution.
Why Eris can be available before you unlock it normally
Under ordinary progression, Eris access is controlled by Star Chart nodes and Junction requirements. Taubound temporarily suspends those requirements for Tenno who have completed Vor’s Prize. Digital Extremes summarizes the rule this way: “At the start of Epoch Operation: Taubound, all Tenno who have completed Vor’s Prize will be able to access all the nodes of Eris as well as Praghasa.”

This temporary access does not mean your permanent Star Chart has been completed. It is an event permission that lasts only while Taubound is active. If you have not opened Eris through normal progression, you can still play its event-available nodes during the operation, but ordinary Junction progression remains a separate matter.
How to earn Moonflesh
Moonflesh is Taubound’s event currency. The official announcement identifies two sources: qualifying Infested enemies in Eris missions and timed Operation Alerts. The published rewards are as follows.

Standard Eris missions
For ordinary Eris missions, the published amount is 2 Moonflesh per qualifying Infested enemy. Mission choice matters in practice because enemy density, objective pacing, and how quickly you can clear groups affect how many qualifying enemies you reach before extraction. Digital Extremes has not published a universal minutes-per-Moonflesh rate, so there is no official farm-time benchmark to apply to every node or squad.

Steel Path Eris missions
Steel Path raises the published enemy award to 3 Moonflesh per qualifying Infested enemy. That is a 50 percent increase over the standard per-enemy figure, but the higher payout comes with Steel Path’s greater combat demands. Choose it when your loadout can clear the mission reliably; a slower or failed run can erase the practical advantage of the larger per-enemy award.

Operation Alerts
A completed Operation Alert awards 50 Moonflesh on the standard path or 75 on Steel Path. Alerts are time limited, so check the Eris map and the mission timer before committing to a longer activity. Because the award is granted for completion, do not leave an Alert early expecting a partial 50- or 75-Moonflesh payment.
Choosing a farming approach
- Use regular Eris missions when you want straightforward runs and your priority is consistent Infested kills without Steel Path difficulty.
- Use Steel Path when your squad or build can maintain a strong clear pace and you value 3 Moonflesh per qualifying enemy.
- Prioritize an active Alert when its timer fits your play session. The fixed 50- or 75-Moonflesh completion award can be more attractive than starting a normal mission just before the Alert expires.
- Favor dense, reliable missions rather than chasing an unverified “best node.” The official material supplies payout values, not a universal ranking or tested time-per-run result.
How to spend Moonflesh and follow community rewards
Return to Praghasa after earning currency. Its operation interface lists the rewards available for your Moonflesh contribution and records the amount you submit. The same event also aggregates community contributions toward Contegorus armor unlocks. Personal spending and community progress are therefore connected through the Praghasa contribution system.

Clan trophy thresholds
Digital Extremes lists clan trophy thresholds ranging from 1,500 to 600,000 Moonflesh, depending on clan tier and trophy level. The published range does not assign each number to a specific tier in the material available here, so treat those values as the overall threshold span rather than as a complete tier-by-tier chart. If your clan is pursuing a particular trophy, consult the threshold shown in the in-game operation interface.
Do you need a personal Moonflesh target to begin?
No personal currency target is required to enter Taubound. Vor’s Prize completion and the active event window determine access. You can begin by selecting Praghasa, then earn Moonflesh through missions or Alerts and contribute whatever amount you have when you return.

The similar names cause most entry mistakes. Taubound is a temporary operation centered on Eris, Praghasa, Moonflesh, and event rewards. The Tau Prologue Quest is a separate permanent Codex addition with different requirements.

Do not delay Taubound while trying to unlock The Hex or The Old Peace. Those quests are irrelevant to Moonflesh harvesting. Conversely, completing Taubound does not replace the requirements for the Tau Prologue Quest.
Troubleshooting access problems
Praghasa is not visible
- Check the event dates first. Outside the published window, the temporary node is not available.
- Verify that Vor’s Prize is fully complete. An interrupted or active quest does not satisfy the requirement.
- Open Navigation and select Eris itself; Praghasa is an Eris node, not a general Codex activity.
- If the event is active and the quest is complete but the node still does not appear, return to the Orbiter, reopen Navigation, and check the operation notice for a current status message.
Eris nodes are locked by a Junction
During Taubound, normal Star Chart and Junction requirements are lifted for Tenno who completed Vor’s Prize. A Junction lock usually means the account has not met the operation prerequisite, the event window has ended, or the map has not refreshed. Confirm those conditions before attempting to clear the Junction normally.
I cannot find Moonflesh after a mission
Moonflesh is awarded from qualifying Infested enemies and from completed Operation Alerts. It is not described as a universal drop from every enemy type or every mission action. Check the mission result screen and ensure you completed the activity rather than extracting from an incomplete objective. For an Alert, verify that the final completion condition was met.

The reward total is lower than expected
Use the published figures as per-source awards: 2 versus 3 Moonflesh per qualifying enemy on standard and Steel Path missions, and 50 versus 75 for completed Alerts. The announcement does not provide a guaranteed qualifying-enemy rate or a minutes-per-run benchmark, so totals vary with enemy spawns, mission pace, and whether every enemy you fought counted as qualifying.
A practical first-session plan
- Finish Vor’s Prize before opening the Star Chart.
- Check the event timer and select Eris from Navigation.
- Open Praghasa once to confirm that the operation interface and reward list load.
- Run one standard Eris mission to learn how Moonflesh appears in your mission results.
- Check Eris again for a timed Operation Alert. If one is active and you can finish it before the deadline, its fixed completion payout is 50 Moonflesh, or 75 on Steel Path.
- Return to Praghasa and contribute your currency. Review the community total and any Contegorus armor progress shown there.
- Choose subsequent missions based on your own clear speed and the remaining Alert time rather than an unofficial farm-rate claim.
What to do before the event closes
Because Digital Extremes says Taubound will not rerun, treat the November 17, 11:00 a.m. end time as a hard planning boundary in the published schedule. Spend Moonflesh at Praghasa before the event ends, confirm that any reward you want is actually claimed through the contribution interface, and do not assume that Eris access or unspent event currency will remain afterward. The permanent Tau Prologue Quest can still be pursued separately through its own requirements, but it is not a substitute for Taubound rewards.
