The dependable free emotes in Clash Royale come from Trophy Road, connecting a Supercell ID, and selected Challenges or Events. Reach 2,200 trophies for the Celebrating Knight Emote and 4,000 trophies for the Clapping Royal Ghost Emote, and connect your account to receive the hidden Legendary Chicken Emote. Seasonal events and Supercell ID Rewards can add more cosmetics, but their rewards and deadlines change. Do not assume that a code, QR link, Shop offer, or Pass Royale emote is free unless the current in-game reward screen says so.
The permanent free emotes you can work toward
Supercell’s documented Trophy Road milestones provide the clearest permanent targets. They do not require buying Pass Royale or spending gems; you earn trophies through normal play and claim the reward node when it becomes available.
| Emote | How to unlock it | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Celebrating Knight Emote | Reach 2,200 trophies on Trophy Road | Permanent Trophy Road milestone |
| Clapping Royal Ghost Emote | Reach 4,000 trophies on Trophy Road | Permanent Trophy Road milestone |
| Legendary Chicken Emote | Connect the game account to Supercell ID | Account-linked reward; claim it from the game’s emote collection after connection |
The two trophy thresholds are milestones, not promotional codes. If the reward node is not visible, check that you are viewing the current Trophy Road and that the game has synchronized your account after a match.

Method 1: Claim the Trophy Road emotes
Reach the required trophy count
- Play regular Trophy Road battles and earn trophies according to the result of each match.
- Open the Trophy Road view from the main game screen and follow the reward path.
- Continue until the path reaches 2,200 trophies for the Celebrating Knight Emote or 4,000 trophies for the Clapping Royal Ghost Emote.
- Tap the unlocked reward node and use the game’s claim or collect control if one is shown.
- Open your emote collection and confirm that the emote is available before selecting it for a battle deck.
These thresholds are the most predictable route because they are tied to progression rather than a season end date. You still need to play enough matches to reach each trophy total, and normal battle results determine how quickly that happens.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
If the emote does not appear immediately
- Return to the main screen and reopen Trophy Road so the reward state can refresh.
- Check the emote collection rather than relying only on the post-match screen.
- Confirm that the account is online and that the trophy total shown in the game has updated.
- Do not spend gems on a Shop listing simply because the Trophy Road reward has not visually refreshed; verify the milestone first.
Method 2: Connect Supercell ID for the Chicken Emote
Supercell states that connecting an account to Supercell ID grants a hidden Legendary Emote, identified as the Chicken Emote. The connection also gives you an account-recovery path and provides access to account-linked ID Rewards.
Connect or create the account in the game
- Open the in-game settings or profile area and select the Supercell ID option.
- Choose the option to connect an existing Supercell ID or create one, then complete the email verification steps displayed by the game.
- Return to Clash Royale after the connection is confirmed. Avoid switching accounts while the confirmation is still processing.
- Open the emote collection and look for the Legendary Chicken Emote. The reward is attached to the connected account, so it should remain associated with that account when you sign in on another supported device.
Use the same Supercell ID whenever you change devices. Creating a second account or connecting the wrong login can make the reward appear to be missing because you are viewing a different game profile.
Connection troubleshooting
- Wrong profile: Open the Supercell ID panel and verify the account email before checking the collection.
- Verification not completed: Finish the email confirmation requested by the sign-in flow, then reopen the game.
- Reward still hidden: Close and relaunch the game, sign in again to the same Supercell ID, and inspect the collection rather than a Shop page.
- Device change: Sign in with the account that originally received the reward; a local guest profile will not show account-linked cosmetics.
Method 3: Watch Challenges and Events
Challenges and Events can award unique or exclusive emotes after you meet the goals shown in their reward ladder. Supercell specifically identifies event formats such as Clan Voyage and Milestone Events as places where emotes may be offered. The exact event name, objective, reward and deadline change, so the live event panel is the authority.
Check the reward ladder before entering
- Open the current Events or Challenges section from the main game screen.
- Tap an event and read every reward node, the entry conditions and the end date.
- Identify the requirement attached to the emote. Depending on the event, progress can involve wins, crowns, a community-wide target or clan participation.
- Play only while the event is active and track progress on the same event panel.
- After reaching the required goal, return to the reward ladder and claim the emote before the displayed deadline.
Some event emotes are exclusive to that event and will not be available through Trophy Road later. An event announcement can show what was offered historically, but it does not reopen an expired claim window.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Why an event reward may be unavailable
- The event has ended, even if an old social post or video still shows its reward.
- The goal was not reached before the deadline.
- The reward required clan or community progress rather than individual wins.
- The emote was on a later reward node and the earlier objectives were incomplete.
- The account is in a different regional or seasonal event rotation from the one shown in an older guide.
Use the dates and requirements displayed in your own game. Do not treat a screenshot, code list or archived announcement as proof that an emote is claimable now.
Method 4: Check Supercell ID Rewards
Supercell ID Rewards is a separate account-linked place to check for available in-game items and cosmetics. Activate it at id.supercell.com, complete the missions listed for your account, accumulate points and claim the rewards that are currently displayed.
How to check the program
- Open id.supercell.com in a browser, or enter the program through the Supercell ID area in the game when that entry point is offered.
- Sign in with the same Supercell ID connected to your Clash Royale profile.
- Activate the Rewards program if the site asks you to do so.
- Read the available missions, complete only those you can verify on the linked account, and watch the points balance update.
- Open the rewards catalogue and claim an emote or other cosmetic only when it is explicitly listed for your account.
The program does not promise an emote in every mission rotation. A current reward may be an item or another cosmetic, and the catalogue can change. The absence of an emote there is not an error and does not mean an unlisted code is required.

How to tell whether a Pass Royale reward is actually free
Pass Royale has a free side and a premium side. Supercell’s support description places extra rewards, including emotes, on the premium track. Therefore, an emote shown in a season’s Pass Royale presentation is not automatically a free reward.

- Travel Must-Have for People On the Go: A must-have travel accessory for flights, flying, airports, air travel, airplanes, planes, international trips, cruises, and long travel days. Key gadget for your airport haul, travel accessories and must-haves.
- Free track: Rewards on the left side of the current Pass Royale screen can be claimed without buying the pass, subject to the season’s progression requirements.
- Premium track: Rewards on the right side require the applicable purchase. An emote displayed there is a paid-pass reward, not a free emote.
- Season check: Read the live track in the game rather than relying on a previous season’s image or a third-party list.
When comparing emotes, separate “free Pass reward” from “an emote included with the paid Pass.” They are different categories even though both appear in the same season interface.
Historical and limited-time examples
Limited events show why availability must be checked in the game. Supercell’s 10th Anniversary article, published on March 2, 2026, documented an Anniversary Album grand prize containing an emote and a Clan Voyage Rocking Emote. Those rewards demonstrate that special campaigns can provide emotes without a normal Shop purchase, but the article’s claim window was tied to that season.
Use an old event post as background information only. Before spending time on a guide, open the current News, Events or Challenges screen and confirm three things: the event is still active, the emote is still on the reward ladder, and the claim deadline has not passed.
Routes that should not be labeled free
Shop purchases
The Shop can sell emotes for gems or place them in offers. A gem price is a purchase requirement even if the gems were earned during play, because the emote is being exchanged through a monetized or progression-based Shop route rather than granted as a documented free milestone.

Crystal Shop exchanges
The December 2025 update described a Crystal Shop in which crystals converted from max-level card copies can be exchanged for emotes. This is a progression exchange, not a guaranteed free claim: it requires the specified card-copy conversion and the emote must be available in the current shop rotation.
Paid Pass Royale emotes
An emote on the premium side of Pass Royale remains a paid-pass reward. Do not describe it as free merely because the season also has a free track.
Free-emote routes compared
| Route | Player requirement | Cost classification | Availability pattern |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trophy Road | 2,200 trophies for Celebrating Knight; 4,000 trophies for Clapping Royal Ghost | No purchase required | Permanent milestones documented by Supercell |
| Supercell ID connection | Connect or create a Supercell ID and return to the emote collection | No purchase required | Account-linked Chicken Emote |
| Challenges and Events | Event-specific wins, crowns, community progress or clan participation | Gameplay-based; requirements vary | Limited to the event’s displayed dates |
| Supercell ID Rewards | Activate the program, complete listed missions and accumulate points | Mission and account progression | Current catalogue and mission rotation |
| Pass Royale premium track | Purchase the pass and complete its progression | Paid | Seasonal |
| Shop or Crystal Shop | Spend gems, use an offer, or exchange eligible crystals | Purchase or progression exchange | Current shop availability |
What to do about “free emote codes”
The official material covered here does not publish a permanent list of working promotional codes. Code pages and videos can be outdated, region-limited, tied to a one-time campaign or simply unrelated to the live game. A code is worth considering only when it comes from a current official announcement and the game provides a matching redemption or claim screen.

- Do not assume a QR image is genuine because it uses the game’s logo.
- Check whether the reward appears in the official event, account or redemption interface before treating it as real.
If an offer cannot be verified in the current game or through an official announcement, use the documented Trophy Road, account-connection, event and ID Rewards routes instead.

A practical weekly check for new free emotes
- Review Trophy Road: Note your current trophy total and the next reward node.
- Verify Supercell ID: Confirm that the profile is connected to the account you actually play.
- Open Events and Challenges: Read the reward ladder and end date, not just the event title.
- Check ID Rewards: Visit id.supercell.com and inspect the live mission and reward catalogue.
- Inspect Pass Royale: Distinguish the free left-hand track from premium rewards on the right.
- Review the Shop cautiously: Treat gem offers and crystal exchanges as paid or progression routes, not free claims.
- Claim before deadlines: Seasonal rewards can disappear when the event or season closes.
Common mistakes and their fixes
Expecting a code for a Trophy Road emote
The Celebrating Knight and Clapping Royal Ghost are tied to trophy milestones. Progress to the specified threshold and claim the reward node instead of searching for a code.
Calling every event emote permanent
Event rewards can be exclusive and time-limited. Record the displayed deadline and claim while the event is active.
Confusing a premium Pass reward with a free reward
Check which side of the current Pass Royale track contains the emote. The premium side requires the applicable purchase.
Checking ID Rewards with the wrong account
Sign in with the Supercell ID connected to the game profile. A different login can show a different mission and reward state.
Trusting an expired announcement
Historical announcements, including the March 2, 2026 anniversary example, establish what an event offered at that time—not what can still be claimed. Confirm the current in-game panel.
Bottom line for players
Start with the routes that are easiest to verify: Trophy Road at 2,200 and 4,000 trophies, then the Supercell ID connection for the Chicken Emote. After that, inspect live Challenges, Events and Supercell ID Rewards for temporary opportunities. Treat Pass Royale premium emotes, Shop offers and Crystal Shop exchanges as paid or progression-based, and never assume an old code or event reward is still active without confirmation in the current game.
