Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteFor Amazon price history, check the product page’s price-history feature or use CamelCamelCamel or Keepa; for an alert when a price reaches a level you choose, CamelCamelCamel describes price watches with email alerts. On eBay, save a search to hear about new matching listings, or add one specific listing to your Watchlist for item notifications. These tools answer different questions: a chart shows past prices, a saved search finds new listings, and a Watchlist keeps tabs on an item you have already found.
Feature availability varies by marketplace and service. Compare the exact product, seller, condition, shipping, taxes, and any coupon before treating a displayed price as the amount you will pay.
Choose the tracker for the job
| What you want to know | Best starting point | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Has this Amazon item been cheaper before? | Amazon’s price-history feature, CamelCamelCamel, or Keepa | Shows historical price context. A chart is not a forecast of the next price change. |
| Can I get an email when an Amazon price drops? | CamelCamelCamel price watch | Its service describes price watches that email when the price drops. Check the current setup for the exact options available. |
| Will eBay show me new listings for this product? | Saved search | Can send email alerts when new items match the search or the saved search is updated. |
| Can I keep tabs on this particular eBay listing? | Watchlist | Keeps an individual listing handy and can send listing notifications, such as an ending-soon alert. |
These functions are not interchangeable. eBay’s documented Watchlist notifications do not establish it as a historical price chart or as a guaranteed price-drop alert. Likewise, a chart’s history is not the same as a notification for newly listed items.
Track an Amazon product
Check Amazon’s built-in price history
- Open the exact product page in your Amazon marketplace.
- Look for the price-history link on the page. If available, open it and choose among the periods offered.
- You can also ask Alexa for Shopping about the item’s past price; Amazon describes prompts such as “What’s the price history?”
In a June 2026 update, Amazon described 30-, 90-, and 365-day price-history views. Amazon named the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and India for availability of price history, and separately said 365-day insights were rolling out in the United States, United Kingdom, and India. That rollout may change; check the product page in your country rather than assuming every account or item has the same view. Amazon also reported that more than 50 million customers had used the feature since its 2024 launch; that is Amazon’s own reported usage figure, not an independently audited count.

Set up a CamelCamelCamel price watch
- Find the product on CamelCamelCamel by searching for it or pasting its Amazon URL.
- Review the available price-history chart to see the context for that item.
- Create a price watch and provide an email address for alerts. CamelCamelCamel describes email alerts when the price drops.
- Use The Camelizer browser extension if you want charts available while browsing product pages.
The chart and price watch address different needs: the chart helps you assess past pricing, while the watch notifies you about a future drop. Confirm the product and marketplace match the one you intend to buy. The available material does not establish a guaranteed alert threshold, delivery time, or alert reliability, so check the options shown when creating your watch.
Use Keepa for page-integrated charts or data workflows
Keepa’s browser extension listing describes price charts directly on Amazon product pages. Its API documentation describes historical price data and notifications for tracked products. That makes it a candidate if you prefer charts integrated into product browsing or need data through an API. The available information here does not establish plan pricing or which features are restricted by plan, so verify current access and terms before depending on it.
Track products on eBay
Save a search to find future listings
- Search eBay for the product, model, or type of item you want.
- Narrow the results with relevant filters, such as price, condition, or listing type.
- Save the search from the results page.
- Review your saved-search notification settings and email preferences. eBay says email alerts are enabled by default for new matching items or updates to a saved search.
A saved search is useful when you are shopping for an item that may appear in multiple listings or is not currently available at a price you want. Make the query specific enough to avoid unrelated matches, but not so narrow that it excludes listings using alternate wording.

- Digital kitchen scale with food-safe, BPA-free plastic components
- Stainless steel platform with wide LCD screen
- Weighs up to 11 pounds (2 grams minimum, up to about 5000 grams); displays results in pounds, ounces, grams, fluid ounces, and ml
- Tare button for measuring just the food, minus the container weight
- Battery operated; (2) AAA batteries included
Add an individual listing to Watchlist
- Open the particular eBay listing you are considering.
- Add it to your Watchlist.
- Check that notifications are enabled in your eBay account settings if you expect to receive them.
eBay says Watchlist notifications are on by default and gives an ending-soon alert as an example. Use it to keep an individual item in view while deciding. It does not replace a search for competing listings or establish a historical market-wide price chart.

A displayed price may not represent the full cost or an identical item. Before buying, compare the exact model or version and the condition, seller, shipping charge, taxes, coupon, and listing format. Marketplace prices can vary across those factors, and the referenced feature descriptions do not establish that every tracker captures all of them. If you use a chart, treat it as context for the item and marketplace shown—not proof that the current offer is the best available or that a future price will follow the same pattern.
- For historical context: Start with Amazon’s native view where available, or compare the charts from CamelCamelCamel or Keepa.
- For a chosen-price email alert: CamelCamelCamel expressly describes price watches and email alerts; inspect the current watch setup for its options.
- For newly listed eBay matches: Use a saved search and apply price, condition, and listing-type filters.
- For one eBay item: Use Watchlist and its listing notifications.
What notifications do—and do not—tell you
An alert is a prompt to revisit an offer, not a guarantee that the item is still available at the same total price when you open it. A saved-search email means a listing matched your search or the saved search was updated; it does not by itself establish that the item is the best-value match. An ending-soon notification is about the listing’s timing, not proof of a price drop. Check the live listing and checkout total before acting.

For Amazon, the current product page and tracker configuration determine what is available for that item and marketplace. For eBay, saved searches and Watchlist serve distinct purposes. If an alert does not arrive, check the account’s notification settings and the email address associated with it, then confirm the item or search is still saved.

ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server, not a product-price tracker: it can capture a page, but it does not monitor prices or send price-drop alerts. If you need a dated visual record of a page you are already checking, one request can capture it. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation.

Troubleshooting
Amazon does not show a price-history link
Availability varies by market and rollout, and not every product page will necessarily expose the same view. Check the page in your own Amazon marketplace, try Alexa for Shopping’s price-history question, or use an external chart service such as CamelCamelCamel or Keepa.

A chart or alert seems to be for the wrong offer
Recheck that the product, marketplace, and exact version or condition match. Then compare seller and total purchase cost, including shipping, taxes, and coupons. A similar product or a different listing format may not be a like-for-like comparison.
An Amazon price-watch email has not arrived
Confirm that the watch was created for the intended product and that the email address is correct. Review the service’s current watch and email settings, and check spam or filtered mail. The available service description does not promise a specific delivery time or guarantee that every change generates an alert.
An eBay saved-search alert is too broad or missing matches
Adjust the search terms and filters. Remove overly restrictive filters if relevant listings are excluded; add price, condition, or listing-type limits if the results are noisy. Check that the search remains saved and review the account’s email notification settings.
