For the most reliable launch time and official coverage, check the operator’s mission page: SpaceX lists mission details and a Watch option, while Rocket Lab publishes upcoming launches and a separate livestream page. Third-party trackers can put both operators on one countdown or calendar, but confirm the mission time with the operator before launch because schedules can shift.
How to track a SpaceX launch live
- Open SpaceX’s Launches page and find the mission you want to follow.
- Open the mission listing to check its vehicle, launch site, landing site and scheduled launch date and time.
- Use the mission page’s Watch option to access SpaceX’s coverage.
SpaceX’s listings include upcoming missions, but launch times are subject to change. Recheck the mission page on launch day rather than relying on an earlier calendar entry or saved time.
Where to watch a Rocket Lab launch
- Check Rocket Lab’s launch listing for the upcoming mission and its schedule.
- Open Rocket Lab’s official livestream page on launch day.
Rocket Lab says, “Live launch broadcasts will appear on this page at around T-20 minutes on launch day.” That is a guide for when to check the page, not a promise that every broadcast will begin at an exact minute.
Use a tracker for countdowns, calendars and alerts
Independent launch trackers can be handy if you follow multiple providers. The reviewed tracker includes SpaceX, Rocket Lab and other operators, with countdown and calendar views, plus Google Calendar, .ics, RSS and push-alert options. It displays dates in the reader’s local timezone. A second reviewed tracker covers SpaceX and Rocket Lab and refreshes live data every few minutes.
