To capture a whole webpage in Chrome with FireShot, open the FireShot toolbar button or menu and choose the option labeled something like “Capture entire webpage” or “Capture entire Page and…”. FireShot’s full-page mode is intended to include content below the current viewport. Choose an action such as editing or saving, then select an available image or PDF format. Labels and actions can vary by FireShot version and plan.
Capture the entire webpage in Chrome
- Open the webpage you want to capture in Chrome.
- Click the FireShot toolbar button, or open its menu.
- Choose the option labeled along the lines of “Capture entire webpage” or “Capture entire Page and…”. This differs from capturing only the visible area: FireShot describes full-page capture as including page content that is not visible without scrolling. See FireShot’s capture instructions.
- Choose the follow-up action, such as editing or saving, and select an output format if prompted.
FireShot’s documentation lists PDF and image formats including PNG, GIF, JPEG, and BMP. The exact menu wording and available actions may differ by version and plan; consult the current dialog if your options do not match these names. The FireShot product page describes capture, editing, and export capabilities.
Choose the right capture area and output
Capture area
- Entire page: Use this for content extending below the current viewport.
- Visible area: Use this when you only need what is currently displayed on screen.
- Selected area: Use this to capture a particular region of the page.
These are separate capture modes in FireShot’s official usage instructions.
Image or PDF
Choose an image format for a screenshot you want to view or share as a picture. Choose PDF when you need a document-style export. For a long page intended for printing, distinguish a tall, single-page capture from a paginated PDF: FireShot advertises multiple PDF options, but the exact choices should be checked in the current export dialog rather than assumed from the feature description. Advanced PDF export is listed among FireShot Pro features.

When FireShot Pro may matter
FireShot’s current official purchase page, as displayed on October 3, 2026, lists Pro at $39.95 per year or $99.95 for a lifetime license. The page describes unlimited screenshots, advanced PDF export, batch and automated capture, and, on Windows, editor and annotation features. Prices, offers, and feature allocation can change, so check the purchase page before buying. FireShot’s feature comparison says the Pro trial lasts ten days before the product switches to Lite; confirm current terms there.
FireShot markets captures as local/on-device and says it can work offline. Those are vendor claims, not an independent audit of the extension or its data practices; see the product information and purchase information.

Limits and troubleshooting
FireShot describes full-page capture as its intended way to include content beyond the viewport, but its reviewed documentation does not guarantee that every dynamic page or nested scrolling region will be captured completely. If completeness is important, inspect the result rather than assuming all embedded content was included.
- The capture contains only what was visible: Reopen FireShot and select its entire-page mode, not visible-area capture.
- You cannot find a named option: Look for a similarly worded entire-page command in the toolbar button or menu. Labels and available actions can vary by version and plan.
- A dynamic page looks incomplete: Check the saved result for missing or still-loading content. The reviewed FireShot material does not guarantee capture of every dynamic element or nested scrolling area.
- You need a particular format or PDF layout: Check the current save/export dialog. FireShot documents several image formats and PDF, but detailed print-dialog choices may vary.
