To move a Hindi YouTube live loop from Restream to OneStream Live, connect the same YouTube channel in OneStream, recreate the pre-recorded event and its Hindi metadata, set the repeat behavior, then run a test and verify it in YouTube Studio. Treat this as a rebuild, not an account transfer: the documented setup flows do not establish that Restream events, schedules, uploads, or settings import into OneStream.
Before you switch: capture the existing setup
Record the details you will need to recreate the event. Keep the original video file locally if you may need a complete archive or want to recover the event without relying on a service’s stored copy.
- The YouTube channel and the Google account that owns it.
- The source video, Hindi title and description, thumbnail, and any tags or category you use.
- The current visibility, scheduled date and time, and time zone.
- Whether the video repeats a fixed number of times or is intended to run continuously.
Restream’s documented pre-recorded workflow lets you choose a video, enter event details, choose a destination, and schedule it. OneStream documents those inputs too, but neither flow establishes a direct migration or import of the other service’s event.
Check YouTube eligibility and content rights
Make sure the channel can go live
YouTube Help says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. It also says creators must be at least 16 to livestream. Check the channel before scheduling: a replacement streaming service does not remove a YouTube restriction.

Confirm you can rebroadcast everything in the video
YouTube’s livestream terms require the content provider to have the necessary rights for worldwide use, including relevant music rights. Check the video, soundtrack, images, and other third-party material before looping them. Live content must also comply with YouTube Community Guidelines.
Do not assume a long loop will become a complete YouTube archive
YouTube Help says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. A continuous loop should not be treated as one dependable, complete replay; retain your source file or make another recording if you need an archive.

Separate looping from monetization eligibility
In a policy clarification dated July 15, 2025, YouTube identified repetitive or mass-produced material as potentially “inauthentic content” and ineligible for monetization. Its examples include highly repetitive material with little educational value, commentary, narrative, or variation. Changing the streaming provider does not resolve a content-policy issue.
Connect the same YouTube channel in OneStream Live
- In OneStream, open Social Platforms and choose Add Account.
- Select YouTube and authorize the Google account that owns the intended channel.
- Check the connected channel before proceeding. If the wrong one appears, review which Google account was selected and connect the owner account for the target channel.
OneStream’s first-stream setup guide recommends connecting accounts before streaming. Restream’s YouTube guidance likewise says the channel owner must authorize the account. The account connection is separate from recreating the event details.

Recreate the pre-recorded Hindi event
- In OneStream, choose Pre-recorded Stream.
- Add the video from Device, OSL Storage, or Cloud Storage.
- Choose YouTube as the destination and confirm the intended channel.
- Re-enter the Hindi title, description, tags, and thumbnail as applicable. Do not assume Restream metadata will appear automatically.
- Choose the visibility and schedule the event for the intended time and time zone.
- Set the repeat behavior, then review the event details before saving or scheduling.
OneStream’s first-stream documentation lists title, description, tags, and thumbnail among the event details. Its dedicated loop procedure describes up to 60 loops. If you need a fixed number of repeats, select the intended count in the loop control and verify it in your account before relying on it.
Choose between a finite replay and continuous 24/7 streaming
The services document different loop limits and modes. These figures describe provider documentation, not a guarantee about what your particular account currently exposes.

OneStream’s broader feature description calls its continuous option an infinite 24/7 stream for YouTube only. Do not confuse that mode with the separate finite repeat control, or assume either is enabled for your account without checking.
Run a test, then switch over
- Schedule a private or unlisted test if your channel workflow permits it.
- Open the event in YouTube Studio and confirm it is on the intended channel and accessible with the expected visibility.
- Check that the Hindi title and thumbnail are correct, the video starts, audio is present, and the chosen loop behavior is working.
- Monitor the audio and video during the test. YouTube recommends checking event accessibility and monitoring stream quality.
- Only after the test succeeds, schedule the public event and end or remove the old Restream schedule. Avoid having both services broadcast to the same channel at once unless that is intentional.
What changes if you use an encoder?
The pre-recorded cloud workflow may hide encoder settings, so you usually do not need to set these manually when selecting an uploaded video in OneStream. If you are separately configuring an encoder for YouTube, Restream’s YouTube guidance recommends H.264 video, CBR, two-second keyframes, and AAC or MP3 audio. Treat those as encoder guidance, not settings that the documented OneStream pre-recorded flow necessarily exposes.

Common migration problems and fixes
- The wrong YouTube channel is connected: Check the Google account selected during authorization; connect the account that owns the intended channel.
- The event or Hindi metadata is missing: Re-enter it in OneStream. The documented migration flow is to recreate the event, not import Restream settings.
- Live access is unavailable: Check channel verification and any restrictions from the previous 90 days, along with the creator age requirement. Resolve YouTube eligibility before scheduling.
- The loop stops sooner than expected: Determine whether you configured a finite repeat count or the separate 24/7 mode. Check the actual loop control and account entitlement in OneStream.
- The YouTube replay is incomplete or absent: A stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. Keep the source video or another recording if the full program matters.
- Audio is absent or content is blocked: Check the source file and its audio, and verify that you have the necessary rights for music and other third-party material.
- Two events compete for the same channel: Confirm which service is scheduled to broadcast; do not leave both active unless simultaneous operation is intended.
