You can loop a Tamil-song playlist with YouTube’s built-in controls for personal listening. If by “stream” you mean broadcasting those songs as a public 24/7 YouTube live stream, that is different: you need the necessary music rights, and YouTube may interrupt a live stream that matches third-party content.
Choose what you mean by “stream”
For private or ordinary listening, looping a playlist repeats its videos in YouTube’s player. It does not create a public live broadcast. A live broadcast sends a continuous stream to viewers; using commercial recordings that way requires the relevant rights, and the playlist controls do not grant them.
Loop a Tamil-song playlist for personal listening
YouTube’s controls differ by device and interface version. These steps describe the controls identified in YouTube Help; labels or placement may vary as the interface changes.
On a computer
- Open a video that is part of the playlist you want to hear.
- Expand the playlist panel if it is collapsed.
- Select the Loop control in the playlist panel. The playlist will repeat after its final video.
On Android
- Open and play the playlist in the YouTube app.
- Tap Loop in the playlist control box.
- If the control is set to repeat the current video rather than the playlist, tap it again to change the repeat behavior.
On a TV or game console
- Open the playlist and start playback.
- Open the playback controls.
- Set Repeat to Playlist.
Loop controls repeat playback; they do not promise that a device will stay powered on, the network will remain available, or every video will remain available without interruption.

If you mean a public 24/7 live broadcast
A playlist looping in the YouTube player is not itself a live stream. To broadcast recordings as a public live stream, you must have the rights needed to use the music in that broadcast, including applicable rights in the sound recordings and musical compositions. YouTube’s live-stream terms say providers must have the rights necessary to exploit live content on Google services, including music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers, and other royalty participants. See YouTube’s Terms of Service.
Why a live stream can be interrupted
YouTube Help states: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” A match may replace the stream with a placeholder; if the content remains, YouTube may temporarily interrupt or terminate the broadcast. A copyright strike can also lead to termination. Read Copyright issues with live streams.

Even if you have licensed third-party music, YouTube says the rights owner may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Without allowlisting, a licensed stream may still be interrupted. Ask the rights owner about the correct allowlisting process before going live.
What does not establish broadcast permission
- Adding a song to a playlist, crediting the artist, or buying a copy does not by itself establish permission to broadcast it publicly.
- A description or label saying that music is “free” does not prevent a Content ID match. Check the applicable license and the uses it permits; YouTube explains options such as permission, applicable legal exceptions, public domain, or licenses in its copyright basics guide.
- Creator Music is not a workaround for live broadcasts. YouTube’s described Creator Music licensing and revenue-sharing options apply to long-form videos, not live streams. Its help page says access is for U.S. YouTube Partner Program creators, with expansion beyond the U.S. pending; availability and track terms can change. See Creator Music eligibility and usage details.
Copyright rules and license terms can vary by jurisdiction. Confirm that your permission covers the intended public live use, territory, duration, and any archived recording.

If YouTube places a Content ID claim
A Content ID claim can block, monetize, or track a video, and its effect may vary by geography. A claim is distinct from a copyright takedown or strike. Check YouTube’s Content ID claims overview and the claim details in YouTube Studio before deciding how to respond.
