You can run a continuous YouTube stream of Bengali children’s stories by preparing an eligible channel, assembling stories and visuals you have permission to use, setting the audience accurately, and sending a produced video feed through an encoder. But a single broadcast longer than 12 hours may not be archived and may have limited DVR, so decide whether uninterrupted airtime or dependable replays matter more before choosing your schedule.
What to decide before you build the stream
A 24/7 story channel is both a production and rights project, not simply a playlist left running. Decide what viewers will see and hear, who the material is made for, how you will keep the feed running, and whether you need YouTube to retain replays.
- Format: recorded Bengali narration with illustrations, animation, or other visuals, arranged as a playlist or recurring program.
- Audience: if the stories and presentation are directed at children, evaluate YouTube’s made-for-kids setting based on the actual content.
- Rights: clear the story text, translation, narration, illustrations, music, and every other included element for the intended use.
- Schedule: choose one continuous broadcast or shorter sessions, knowing the archive and DVR trade-offs for long streams.
Check YouTube channel eligibility
YouTube Help’s live-streaming guidance, accessed in 2026, says a channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. The guidance also sets the minimum age to livestream at 16. Confirm that livestreaming is enabled on the channel before preparing a launch; approval or activation may take time, so do not leave this check until the day you plan to go live.
YouTube supports encoder streaming for produced video. Its general description says, “Live streaming lets you interact with your audience in real time with a video feed, chat, and more.” That describes the general feature: if the broadcast is set as made for kids, some of the interaction features described there will not be available.

Prepare Bengali stories and clear every right
Original material is the clearest starting point
Writing or commissioning original Bengali stories and recording your own narration can make the rights chain easier to document. Keep project files and written agreements showing who created and controls the script, performance, illustrations, animation, and music. If a contributor retains any rights, make sure the agreement covers the uses you need.
Buying or finding a story is not the same as getting streaming permission
YouTube’s terms make the content provider responsible for having the rights needed to livestream and for meeting applicable territorial requirements. A purchased or borrowed book does not, by itself, establish permission to read it aloud on a worldwide stream, adapt or translate it, display its illustrations, or distribute a recording. For third-party material, obtain and retain permission that covers the specific uses in your program, including the territories and any adaptation, recording, and streaming rights that apply.

Check music, sound effects, and artwork separately; permission for one component does not clear the others. Keep a rights log with the item, rights holder, permission or licence, permitted uses, territories, and any conditions. If you cannot establish permission for an element, remove or replace it rather than assuming that credit or a disclaimer is enough.
Set the audience to match the stories
YouTube identifies children’s stories and an intent to target children as factors relevant to its made-for-kids guidance. The creator is responsible for choosing the audience setting accurately. Make the decision from the actual stories, visuals, narration, and intended audience—not from which setting offers more features or appears more favourable for monetization.

For a child-directed program, plan for the restrictions YouTube applies to made-for-kids streams: live chat, chat replay, Super Chat, some comments, and reminder notifications are disabled. Personalized ads are also disabled, although contextual ads may be shown. Tell families how the stream works in its description or channel information rather than promising chat or reminders that viewers will not receive.
Choose a continuous broadcast or shorter sessions

If replays matter, make each session shorter than 12 hours and record a local backup. If the priority is an uninterrupted, always-on schedule, accept that the platform may not retain the full broadcast and that viewers may not be able to rewind through the whole day. Build and launch the stream
- Prepare the program files. Produce the stories and visuals, check that the audio is clear, and arrange episodes in the order you want them played. Make a backup copy of the source files and, if you need a replay, arrange a local recording.
- Choose a production setup. Use an encoder workflow for the produced feed. YouTube notes that encoder streams can use production hardware such as microphones; it does not establish a particular microphone, computer, internet plan, or encoder configuration as necessary for your setup.
- Create the live event in YouTube Studio. Start a livestream using the encoder option, enter the event details, and set the audience based on the content. Interface labels can change, so confirm the current choices shown in Studio rather than relying on an old menu screenshot.
- Copy the stream key into the encoder. Use the key associated with the intended YouTube stream. Treat it as a password: do not publish it, send it in a public message, or reuse a key that may have been exposed. YouTube’s channel eligibility check should already be complete.
- Connect and inspect the preview. Start the encoder output and confirm that YouTube receives the video and audio before making the event public. Listen for missing narration, unintended silence, or audio that masks the story. Do not assume that a visible preview proves the broadcast will remain uninterrupted for 24 hours.
- Start the broadcast and monitor it. Keep an eye on the stream status and the output device or service. If you are running the feed yourself, plan who will respond to a stopped encoder or network interruption; no encoder setting, internet speed, or hardware arrangement is established as guaranteeing uninterrupted operation from India.
Make each episode worth watching—and treat monetization separately
YouTube applies its monetization policies to livestreams and expects original, authentic material. Merely putting stories into a 24/7 format does not establish eligibility. Avoid relying on near-identical loops, interchangeable segments, or mass-produced templates as a monetization strategy; make the episodes meaningfully distinct and valuable to the intended audience.
YouTube’s Help clarification dated 15 July 2025 says repetitive or mass-produced material is covered by its inauthentic-content policy. Copyright permission and monetization eligibility are separate questions: having permission to stream third-party material does not by itself establish that a channel meets monetization rules. Likewise, a made-for-kids stream should not be planned around personalized ads, which YouTube disables for that content setting.

Common problems and practical fixes
- You cannot start the livestream: check channel verification, whether livestreaming has been enabled, and whether a restriction falls within the preceding 90 days. Also confirm that the account meets YouTube’s minimum age requirement.
- The event has no incoming video or audio: check that the encoder is sending to the stream key for the event you opened, then inspect the encoder output and Studio preview. Confirm that narration is present and audible before going public.
- Viewers cannot chat or receive reminders: these features are unavailable for made-for-kids streams under YouTube’s stated restrictions. Set expectations in the channel or program information rather than trying to design the schedule around those features.
- A full-day replay is missing or cannot be rewound: streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured, and DVR may be limited or unavailable. Use shorter sessions for more useful replay behavior and keep a local recording backup.
- A story or song triggers a rights concern: check the rights log for that specific text, translation, performance, artwork, or music. Remove the disputed component or obtain the permission needed for the relevant use; ownership of a physical book alone is not sufficient evidence of streaming rights.
- The stream stops unexpectedly: identify whether the interruption came from the encoder, the local computer, the connection, or YouTube’s receiving side, then restore the feed and verify the preview before continuing. No particular hardware or network arrangement in the available YouTube guidance guarantees 24/7 uptime.
