IRL Pro can send a live broadcast to YouTube, but the available documentation does not establish that it can play or loop a bhajan playlist by itself. To run a 24/7 stream, you need a separate, tested playback and encoding setup that continuously supplies both audio and video, plus an IRL Pro configuration that can carry that feed—or another YouTube-compatible encoder. Verify the complete chain before relying on it unattended.
What IRL Pro can—and cannot—be confirmed to do
IRL Pro is an Android streaming app. Its available setup documentation covers configuring a broadcast destination and sending a live feed using RTMP or SRT, but does not document a music player, playlist loop controller, or complete unattended 24/7 playout system. The app’s listing describes destination support, not continuous bhajan playback (Google Play; IRL Pro; IRL Pro broadcast documentation).
That means installing IRL Pro and adding a YouTube stream key is not, by itself, a verified way to loop a playlist. First establish how the recordings will play continuously and how that playback becomes a stable video-and-audio feed. Then determine whether that feed can be routed through IRL Pro in your setup or should go from its playback/encoding system directly to YouTube. No end-to-end 24/7 bhajan workflow is established by the available documentation.
What you need before starting
- A YouTube channel eligible to livestream. YouTube says the channel must be verified and must not have live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Check eligibility and allow time for setup before scheduling a long broadcast (YouTube live streaming tips).
- An Android device for the IRL Pro portion. IRL Pro is listed as an Android app. A phone is not, on the evidence available, a substitute for the separate playlist-playback system or proof of unattended 24-hour reliability.
- A continuous playout source. It must repeat the bhajan audio and provide whatever video signal viewers will see. Choose and verify a playback/encoding arrangement; the cited IRL Pro material does not establish one.
- A YouTube server URL and stream key. These are obtained in YouTube Live Control Room and entered in the encoder or broadcast configuration. Treat the stream key like a password: it directs the encoder’s feed to your channel and lets YouTube accept it (Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder).
- Rights for every recording and composition. Confirm that your permissions cover live streaming and the territories in which viewers may watch. A devotional subject or a recording’s public availability does not establish permission to rebroadcast it.
- A stable upload connection and a way to monitor the output. YouTube recommends upload bandwidth with 20% headroom beyond the total stream bitrate (YouTube streaming tips).
How to set up a test broadcast
Use these steps to configure the parts YouTube documents, while treating the playlist-to-IRL-Pro connection as something you must verify for your own setup.

- Confirm livestream access. In YouTube Studio, check that livestreaming is available for your channel and that the account meets YouTube’s verification and restriction requirements. YouTube’s cited guidance says there must have been no live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days (YouTube live streaming tips).
- Build the playback chain. Prepare the bhajan playlist and a continuous way to play it in a loop. Make sure the system also supplies a stable video feed, such as the visual you intend viewers to see. The sources do not verify a particular player, loop setting, or method for feeding media into IRL Pro; do not assume that an app feature exists without checking your installed version and testing it.
- Create a test stream in YouTube Live Control Room. Select an encoder workflow and copy the server URL and stream key shown for that stream. Keep the key private; do not paste it into a public page, message, or video.
- Configure the broadcaster. In the chosen encoder or IRL Pro broadcast configuration, enter the YouTube destination details using the labels shown in the current app and Live Control Room. IRL Pro documentation describes RTMP/SRT broadcasting, but does not establish a tested direct configuration for continuously playing a bhajan playlist. If you cannot confirm how your media source reaches IRL Pro, the integration remains unverified.
- Set encoder parameters where available. YouTube recommends constant bitrate (CBR) and a two-second keyframe interval; the keyframe interval should not exceed four seconds. Apply these settings only if the encoder exposes them, and choose a resolution and bitrate appropriate to the feed and your upload capacity. Consult YouTube’s current encoder table for the target resolution and frame rate (YouTube streaming tips; YouTube encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions).
- Check upload capacity. Add up the total outgoing bitrate, including any primary and backup encoders you run. YouTube recommends upload bandwidth at least 20% above that total. A connection that only just matches the stream bitrate leaves little room for variation (YouTube streaming tips).
- Preview and test the whole chain. Start with a short test, then inspect the YouTube preview before going public. Listen for clipping, silence, abrupt transitions, or unintended gaps; confirm that the video is stable and matches the audio; and verify that the playlist actually advances and returns to its beginning. YouTube recommends testing with audio and movement similar to the intended broadcast and monitoring audio and video quality (YouTube live streaming tips; YouTube encoder settings).
- Go live only after the test succeeds. Schedule or start the intended broadcast in Live Control Room, start the configured feed, and confirm that YouTube receives it. Keep a person available to monitor a long run; the sources do not establish unattended restart, phone power, thermal, or network-failover reliability for a full day.
Plan for a genuinely continuous 24/7 run
A continuous YouTube feed is only as dependable as each link in its chain: playlist playback, the video signal, the encoder or broadcaster, the internet connection, the device’s power and temperature, and YouTube’s ingest. IRL Pro’s documented broadcast configuration alone does not settle how to keep those other parts running. Before committing to an all-day stream, verify the following in a test that resembles the real broadcast:
- The playlist loops without a pause, dead air, or manual input, including when it reaches the final item.
- The audio and video remain synchronized and reach YouTube at the intended quality.
- The playback source, phone, and network remain powered and stable for the intended duration.
- You know how to detect a stopped feed and restart the relevant part of the chain.
- You have a plan for what viewers see and hear during a brief playback or connection interruption.
- You understand the archive limitation: YouTube says encoder streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That statement does not promise a complete archive for a 24-hour stream (Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder).
Clear the bhajan music rights before broadcasting
YouTube’s livestream terms say the provider represents that it has the necessary rights for the live content, including music licensing rights from artists, labels, publishers, and other royalty participants (Livestream terms and conditions). Check rights for both sides of a recording: the sound recording itself and the underlying musical composition. Confirm that the permission covers livestreaming and the relevant territories; the fact that a track is devotional, widely shared, or available online does not make it free to rebroadcast.

YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. If it identifies a match, it may show a placeholder image and warn the streamer; if the content remains, the stream may be interrupted or terminated. Even licensed music can be interrupted unless the rights holder has added your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Archived live streams may also receive Content ID claims after the broadcast ends (Copyright issues with live streams).
For a playlist, keep a record of the permission for each recording and composition, and ask rights holders whether they need to allowlist your channel in Content ID. A successful test stream does not itself prove that you hold the necessary rights or prevent a later claim.
