To keep unfamiliar invitations from appearing automatically in Google Calendar, set Add invitations to my calendar to Only if the sender is known. Google considers a sender known if they are in your contacts, belong to your organization, or are someone you have previously interacted with. The filter controls whether invitations are added to your calendar; it does not stop people from sending invitations, and unadded invitations can still arrive by email.
Choose how invitations are added
On a computer, open Google Calendar and go to Settings → General → Event settings → Add invitations to my calendar. Choose the option that suits how much automatic calendar entry you want:

With the known-sender option, an invitation that is not added can still generate an email notification. Adding a trusted sender to your contacts is Google’s suggested way to ensure their invitations count as known. Once you interact with a sender, future invitations from them may also be automatically added. Google notes that the setting may reveal to senders they are not in your contacts; it is a possible disclosure, not a guaranteed notification. The setting applies only to new invitations. Google states, “Your updated settings only apply to new invitations.” Existing spam events must be handled separately. For work or school accounts, an administrator may control which options are available, so you may not see every choice.

Remove spam that is already on your calendar
Report an eligible event
On a computer, open the unwanted event and select More actions → Report as spam. Reporting removes the event; if it is part of a recurring series, the series is removed. This option is available for events sent from Google Calendar, not events created through another provider, app, or service. Follow Google’s instructions for reporting Calendar invitations and events.
Block a repeat organizer
If an organizer repeatedly sends unwanted invitations, blocking them prevents future invitations from that organizer. Blocking does not remove invitations already on your calendar, so delete those separately if needed. It also does not revoke calendar access you previously shared with that person. If spam continues on Android
Review apps that can edit calendar data
An app with permission to edit calendar data may create unwanted events. Review Calendar permissions on your Android device and remove access for apps that should not change calendar data. Revoking permission does not delete events already created. If an unwanted calendar is visible, you can hide it to stop seeing its events; removing app access is the step that prevents that app from creating new spam calendars.
Check whether the calendar belongs to another service
If Google Calendar is displaying a calendar supplied by another service, such as Calendly or Asana, Google directs users to that provider’s help center for spam controls. Google’s Android spam guidance covers app permissions, hidden calendars, and third-party calendars.
