To add someone to Hostinger Reach, you need a paid Reach plan. In the Reach dashboard, open the profile menu, choose Add Collaborators, and complete Hostinger’s Account Sharing form. Enter the person’s Hostinger email, assign a role, select the Reach plan and any related services they need, then send the invitation. The collaborator must accept the email and sign in with their own Hostinger account before access becomes active.
What you need before adding a collaborator
Hostinger restricts Reach account sharing to paid Reach plans. Free Reach plans do not include the Collaborators feature, so the Add Collaborators option may be unavailable or locked until the account is moved to a paid plan. Hostinger states in its Reach help documentation: "The Collaborators feature is available only on paid Hostinger Reach plans. Free plans do not support account sharing."
- An owner account: You must be signed in as the Hostinger account owner or as a user with authority to manage sharing.
- A paid Reach plan: Free Reach plans cannot be shared.
- The invitee’s Hostinger email: The person should already have an active Hostinger account. If they do not, Hostinger prompts them to create one.
- A decision about scope: Decide whether the person needs only Reach or also a connected domain, AI Builder site, WordPress site, or other hosting service.
- A role choice: Select the least-privileged role that still lets the person do their work.
Reach collaborators can generally work with the Reach dashboard, campaigns, automations, contacts, and segments. Depending on the role, they may also be able to perform Reach billing actions such as buying additional AI credits or upgrading the plan.
How the account owner sends a Reach invitation
The invitation begins inside Reach but finishes in Hostinger’s Account Sharing screen. Follow these steps in order.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Open Hostinger Reach. Log in to the Hostinger account that owns the Reach plan and open the Reach dashboard.
- Open the profile menu. Select the profile dropdown in the top-right corner of the Reach interface.
- Choose Add Collaborators. This command redirects you to Hostinger’s Account Sharing page.
- Enter the invitee’s email address. Use the email attached to the person’s Hostinger account. If the address is not associated with an account, Hostinger asks the person to create one before they can use the invitation.
- Select a permission role. Choose the role that matches the work the person will perform. Avoid granting administrative rights merely for convenience.
- Select the services to share. Pick the Reach plan and any other Hostinger services the collaborator must use. The Reach plan and connected websites or domains are separate selections.
- Find the correct Reach service. If a domain is connected to Reach, enter the domain name to locate the corresponding plan. If no domain is connected, select the Reach plan by its plan title.
- Review the scope and send. Confirm the email, role, and service selections, then send the invitation.
Sending the form does not grant immediate access. Hostinger emails the invitee, and the invitation remains inactive until it is accepted.
What the collaborator does after receiving the email
- Open the invitation email sent by Hostinger.
- Accept the invitation while signed in to the intended Hostinger account, or create a Hostinger account if prompted.
- Sign in to the invitee’s own Hostinger dashboard. The collaborator should not use the owner’s credentials.
- Open Reach from the dashboard.
- Select the shared Reach plan to enter its dashboard.
Access is tied to the collaborator’s Hostinger login, not to a shared password. If the invitation was sent to the wrong address, the person should not try to work around it with the owner’s login; the owner should send a new invitation to the correct account.
Choose the right role and service scope
Hostinger’s Account Sharing flow separates a person’s role from the services they can open. Both settings matter: a suitable role cannot compensate for a missing service selection, and sharing a service does not automatically grant every possible account privilege.
Reach work a collaborator may need
- Create and manage email-marketing campaigns.
- Set up and edit automations.
- Manage contacts and audience segments.
- Open the Reach dashboard for the selected plan.
Administrative Reach permissions can include billing-related actions inside Reach, such as purchasing additional AI credits or upgrading a Reach plan. Give that level only when the person is expected to make those decisions.

Collaborator and Admin roles
| Role | Typical Reach scope | Billing-related Reach actions | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Collaborator | Campaigns, automations, contacts, segments, and ordinary Reach operations within the services selected by the owner. | Use this role when the person does not need administrative purchasing or upgrade authority. | Employees, contractors, copywriters, campaign specialists, and agencies doing day-to-day work. |
| Admin | Broader management of the selected Reach service. | May include buying additional AI credits or upgrading the Reach plan. | A trusted manager who must handle Reach-level administration as well as marketing work. |
Hostinger’s general Account Sharing documentation describes these roles at the account-sharing level. The exact controls shown can depend on the service selected, so review the permissions displayed in your own Account Sharing screen before sending an invitation.
Reach access does not automatically include your website or domain
Sharing a Reach plan alone does not give the invitee access to every service connected to your marketing account. A collaborator who must connect a domain, edit a Hostinger AI Builder site, manage a WordPress installation, or change related hosting settings needs those services selected separately under Managed services.
Use this rule when configuring access:
| What the person needs to do | Service selection to check |
|---|---|
| Create campaigns, automations, contacts, or segments | The relevant Reach plan |
| Connect or manage a domain used by Reach | The relevant domain or domain-related service in Managed services, in addition to Reach |
| Edit a connected Hostinger AI Builder website | The AI Builder website service |
| Work on a connected WordPress website or its hosting settings | The WordPress site and associated hosting service |
| Change hosting settings related to an integration | The applicable hosting service in Managed services |
If a collaborator can open Reach but cannot complete a domain or website task, the most likely cause is that only the Reach service was shared. Return to Account Sharing and add the specific managed service rather than raising the Reach role unnecessarily.

- Invite additional users.
- Change the owner’s profile information.
- Change the account’s main domain.
- Perform certain domain-sensitive operations, including transferring or unlocking a domain.
- Delete the Hostinger account.
Hostinger’s documentation also explains that granted users can manage the selected websites and hosting settings within the scope the owner shares. The restrictions above remain in place even when a person has broad access to a selected service.
How a freelancer or agency can request access
A freelancer does not have to wait for the owner to start an invitation. The helper can send an access request from their own Hostinger account, but the owner still has to approve it.
- Log in to the freelancer’s Hostinger account.
- Open the profile menu.
- Choose Account Sharing.
- Select Request Access.
- Enter the account owner’s Hostinger email address.
- Choose the requested role.
- Send the request.
Hostinger notifies the owner, who reviews the requested role and approves or declines it. Approval does not necessarily share every service: the owner must authorize the services that the helper is allowed to manage.

Troubleshooting common sharing problems
Add Collaborators is missing or locked
- Confirm that the account has a paid Hostinger Reach plan. Free plans do not support account sharing.
- Check that you are in the Reach dashboard for the correct Hostinger account.
- If you recently upgraded, sign out and back in so the dashboard refreshes the plan status.
- If the account has multiple Reach services, open the intended plan before using the profile menu.
The invitee cannot accept the invitation
- Verify that the invitation was sent to the email address attached to the invitee’s Hostinger account.
- Ask the invitee to check spam, junk, and filtered folders for the Hostinger message.
- Have the invitee create or activate a Hostinger account if the address was not previously registered.
- Do not forward the owner’s login details; resend the invitation to the correct address instead.
The collaborator accepted but cannot see Reach
- Make sure the collaborator accepted the invitation before signing in.
- Tell them to use their own Hostinger dashboard, click Reach, and select the shared plan.
- Check that the owner selected the Reach plan itself, not only a domain or website service.
- Confirm that the collaborator is signing in with the same email address that received the invitation.
The collaborator can open Reach but not the website or domain
This is normally a service-scope issue. Reach, domains, AI Builder sites, WordPress sites, and hosting services are selected separately. The owner should edit the Account Sharing entry and add the missing service under Managed services.

The collaborator cannot buy credits or upgrade the plan
Those actions may require administrative Reach permissions. Review the assigned role and the controls displayed for the selected Reach service. Only promote the user to an Admin-level role when that billing authority is genuinely required.
Use a safer sharing setup
Account Sharing is designed to avoid sharing the owner’s password, but the owner still controls the exposure. Before sending an invitation, apply this checklist:
- Identify the exact campaign, automation, contact, domain, or website task.
- Select only the Reach plan and managed services needed for that task.
- Start with Collaborator permissions unless administrative Reach billing is part of the job.
- Use the person’s own Hostinger email so activity remains associated with the correct account.
- Explain in writing which tasks are authorized and which remain owner-only.
- Review access when a contract, campaign, or agency engagement ends and remove services that are no longer needed.
These controls are especially important when an agency needs both email-marketing access and website access. Sharing the website simply because the agency needs Reach can expose more hosting settings than necessary; share each service deliberately.

Practical setup examples
Example: campaign writer
A copywriter who drafts and schedules campaigns usually needs the Reach plan and a Collaborator role. The owner can leave domains, WordPress, AI Builder, and other hosting services unshared. The writer can work with campaigns without gaining access to payment methods or account-level settings.

Example: email-marketing agency managing a website integration
An agency that configures automations and maintains a connected WordPress site needs the Reach plan plus the relevant WordPress and hosting services under Managed services. The owner should verify whether the agency also needs domain-management access; if not, the domain should remain unshared.
Example: marketing manager responsible for Reach spend
A manager who must purchase additional AI credits or upgrade Reach may need an Admin role for the Reach service. That role still does not grant the ability to add payment methods, invite other users, change the owner’s profile, transfer or unlock domains, change the main domain, or delete the account.
Key limitations to remember
- Collaborator sharing is a paid-Reach feature, not a free-plan feature.
- The owner starts an invitation from Reach’s profile menu, but the actual permissions are configured in Account Sharing.
- The invitee must accept the email and use an individual Hostinger login.
- Reach access and access to connected domains, websites, and hosting services are separate decisions.
- Freelancers and agencies can request access, but the owner must approve the request.
- Account Sharing does not transfer account ownership or allow sensitive actions such as payment-method management and account deletion.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I share Hostinger Reach on a free plan?
No. Hostinger says the Collaborators feature is available only on paid Hostinger Reach plans; free plans do not support account sharing.
Does sharing Reach give a collaborator access to my domain or WordPress site?
No. The owner must select the domain, WordPress, AI Builder, or other hosting service separately under Managed services when that access is required.
Can a collaborator invite another team member?
No. Hostinger’s Account Sharing restrictions prevent granted users from inviting additional users.
Can a freelancer request Hostinger Reach access without an invitation?
Yes. The freelancer can use Account Sharing, choose Request Access, enter the owner’s Hostinger email, select a requested role, and send the request. The owner must approve it.
