Create a monitor for one Hindi page
- In ChangeTower, choose New Monitor and enter the full URL of the Hindi page you want to track—not just the site homepage. ChangeTower’s first-monitor guidance recommends the exact page for single-page monitoring. ChangeTower Help Center: create your first monitor.
- Choose the monitoring method that matches what should trigger an alert. Use Content Monitor for general page text changes, Keyword Monitor for specified words or phrases, or Smart Monitor to describe the change you care about.
- If available for the selected method, select the relevant page area and ignore unrelated elements that change often. This can help avoid alerts caused by navigation, rotating banners, dates, or other incidental updates.
- In the monitor details, enter a recognizable name. If useful, organize it with folders or tags, select a checking frequency, and configure email or Slack notifications where available.
- Create the monitor. ChangeTower saves an initial snapshot as the baseline. You should not expect an immediate change alert: an alert follows a later check that detects a qualifying change.

Selective monitoring is useful when a single page includes frequently changing material that is not meaningful to you. ChangeTower’s guidance describes selecting elements to monitor or ignore and setting a word-change threshold; available controls depend on the monitor workflow. Set a checking frequency and interpret alerts
ChangeTower’s frequency guidance lists schedules from every five minutes to every 30 days. Pick a cadence based on how quickly you need to know about a change and how much alert noise is acceptable; the configured interval is a check schedule, not a guarantee that an alert arrives at that interval. When a page changes several times between checks, ChangeTower compares the latest version with the prior saved snapshot. Intermediate changes may therefore not each produce their own alert.

Validate Hindi and Devanagari monitoring
ChangeTower’s reviewed materials describe content changes, keyword criteria, and Smart Monitor criteria, but do not name supported page or prompt languages. That does not establish whether Hindi text or Devanagari terms are detected reliably. Treat support as unverified rather than assuming that a monitor’s successful creation proves its criteria work.
- Create a test monitor for the precise Hindi URL and the intended criterion.
- Check the saved snapshot to confirm that the relevant Hindi content appears as expected.
- Where practical, use a page or test content you control and make an intentional, recognizable change matching the criterion.
- Wait for the next scheduled check and verify that the expected notification arrives. Adjust the criterion or monitored area if unrelated changes trigger alerts or the intended change is missed.
This is a practical validation procedure, not a claim that Hindi monitoring has been independently tested.

Troubleshoot missing or noisy alerts
- No alert after creating the monitor: The first snapshot is a baseline. Make or wait for a later qualifying change; setup itself does not imply an immediate alert.
- Hindi keyword or Smart Monitor results are uncertain: The reviewed help does not document Hindi/Devanagari support. Confirm the text in the saved snapshot and validate with an intentional test change before depending on the alert.
- Too many alerts: Narrow the monitored area or ignore frequently changing elements where those controls are offered. For selective monitoring, consider whether a word-change threshold fits the page.
- Alerts seem late or changes were missed: Check the selected schedule and remember that the page is checked at that cadence; several changes between checks may be represented only by the latest version compared with the previous snapshot.
- A whole-site monitor behaves differently from a single-page monitor: The March 24, 2023 help article describes limitations for whole-site monitoring, including no visual or partial-page selection. Confirm the current workflow and plan limits in your account.
