You can run a 24/7 YouTube stream with LiveReacting by creating a project, adding rights-cleared video or audio, enabling a loop or playlist loop, connecting your YouTube channel, and starting or scheduling the broadcast. LiveReacting says its stream runs on cloud servers, so your computer does not need to stay on after setup. First, confirm that YouTube live streaming is enabled for your channel; first-time activation can take up to 24 hours.

Before you start

  • Check YouTube eligibility. In YouTube Studio, verify that live streaming is enabled and the channel has no active restrictions. LiveReacting says first activation may take up to 24 hours, so allow for that lead time before your planned launch. LiveReacting’s setup guide
  • Prepare media you may broadcast. Use video, music, and visuals you created, own, or have permission to stream. For outside material, check that the license covers livestreaming and any replay or recording use you intend. A file being available to upload does not establish that you have broadcast rights. LiveReacting’s setup guide
  • Choose the format. A single-file loop is simpler but repeats the same asset; a playlist can rotate a catalog and may offer more variety, but requires more prepared material and maintenance.
  • Keep your originals. LiveReacting warns that YouTube may not save streams longer than 12 hours. Preserve source files if you need a dependable archive; do not rely on a long live broadcast being available as a complete replay. LiveReacting’s product page

Set up the LiveReacting stream

  1. Create the project. In LiveReacting Studio, create a 24/7 template or start a project from scratch. The exact interface labels may change, so follow the current controls shown in your account. LiveReacting’s setup guide
  2. Add your media. Upload the video or audio files you have rights to use. LiveReacting’s product page says paid plans also support imports from supported YouTube, Google Drive, or Dropbox sources; check the current plan details and supported imports before relying on them. LiveReacting’s product page
  3. Set playback behavior. For one file, enable Loop. For several files, add them to a playlist, arrange the order or choose shuffle if available, then enable playlist looping. Confirm the loop setting before launch; otherwise playback can end when the file or playlist finishes. LiveReacting’s setup guide
  4. Connect YouTube. Authorize the YouTube channel in LiveReacting, or provide a YouTube stream key where the workflow calls for one. Treat a stream key like a password: do not publish it or share it with people who should not control the broadcast. LiveReacting’s setup guide
  5. Configure the broadcast. Enter the stream title and description. Set a duration or choose a manual stop, depending on how you want the broadcast to end. If scheduling, check the device’s time zone and the scheduling window currently offered by the platform before confirming the start time. LiveReacting’s help documentation says scheduling controls use the device time zone. LiveReacting scheduling help
  6. Preview and launch. Check the starting position and playback, then select Go Live or use the scheduled start. Open the YouTube watch page and verify that the broadcast is actually live. LiveReacting describes the stream as continuing from its cloud servers after you close the browser or shut down your computer. LiveReacting’s setup guide

Pick the right way to keep the channel live

Option Best fit Trade-off
StreamNeo Continuous YouTube playback from uploaded videos, without keeping a home computer online. Cloud service rather than a local setup; it plays uploaded videos, not a camera feed. Any quality up to 4K 60fps is streamed as uploaded at one flat price per slot, and the first day is free.
LiveReacting cloud stream An always-on or scheduled broadcast that should continue when your computer is off. Requires a third-party cloud service; verify current plan limits and pricing with LiveReacting before committing.
OBS Studio A free local setup when you can leave a computer and network running. The stream depends on the local machine and internet connection remaining active. LiveReacting’s OBS comparison
YouTube Premiere A scheduled, one-time viewing of one uploaded video. It is not a continuous looping broadcast. LiveReacting’s comparison

Plan for rights, monetization, and archives

Use only content you created, own, or are licensed to broadcast. If your license covers ordinary uploads but not live transmission, replay, or archived use, it may not fit this format. LiveReacting’s guidance also flags repetitive or mass-produced programming as a potential monetization concern. That does not establish how YouTube will assess a particular channel: review YouTube’s current policies and make the stream useful to viewers rather than assuming repetition alone qualifies for monetization. The reviewed LiveReacting materials do not settle every current YouTube policy question.

LiveReacting’s product page says YouTube may not save streams longer than 12 hours; this is a platform caveat reported by the vendor, not an independent measurement. Save and retain your original media if you need an archive. LiveReacting’s product page

Troubleshoot common setup problems

  • You cannot start a live stream: Check live-stream eligibility and restrictions in YouTube Studio. If this is the channel’s first activation, allow up to 24 hours before the feature becomes available, as LiveReacting advises. LiveReacting’s setup guide
  • Playback stops at the end of the file: Reopen the project and confirm that Loop is enabled for a single asset, or playlist looping is enabled for a collection.
  • The wrong item plays next: Review playlist order or shuffle settings and preview the sequence before launch.
  • The broadcast does not appear live on YouTube: Confirm the channel connection or stream-key setup, start the broadcast in LiveReacting, and check the YouTube watch page rather than assuming that a configured project is already live.
  • A scheduled stream starts at the wrong time: Check the device time zone used by scheduling controls and compare it with the intended local start time before saving the schedule. LiveReacting scheduling help
  • The replay is missing or incomplete: Do not depend on YouTube to archive a stream longer than 12 hours; retain the source media separately. LiveReacting’s product page

Or let it run in the cloud

With StreamNeo, upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo loops uploaded videos from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. It streams your upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot; it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card required, one free day per account. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo is for YouTube and prerecorded uploads, not camera streaming. See StreamNeo or current plan details. Start your free day with StreamNeo.
