To set a normal Binance Futures price alert, use the Binance app in Pro mode: open Markets, select the exact Futures pair, tap Alert, choose the condition, enter the target and frequency, and tap Create Alert. Binance allows up to 10 alerts for one pair, 50 alerts in total, and keeps each price alert for 90 days. A liquidation-risk alert is different: Binance documents it under Portfolio Margin, where you choose Liquidation Alert in Advanced Tool settings and set a UniMMR threshold. It is not available in default mode and neither type of alert guarantees delivery or prevents liquidation.
What each Binance alert does
A price alert is an informational notification tied to a market condition. It can tell you that a Futures contract reached a specified price, moved above or below it, or met a percentage-change condition when that option is offered for the pair. It does not open, modify, or close an order.
A Liquidation Alert monitors the margin-health measure used by Portfolio Margin. Binance describes the trigger as your account’s UniMMR (unified maintenance-margin ratio) falling below the ratio you set. It is a risk warning, not a liquidation shield: it does not add collateral, reduce a position, cancel an order, or guarantee that you will receive a warning before forced liquidation.

| TradingView webhook automation | A TradingView alert or strategy condition | Eligible USDⓈ-M Futures users with a paid TradingView subscription | Webhook message sent to Binance | Operate safely without carefully limited permissions and testing |
Menu names can vary by app version, account mode, and jurisdiction. The steps below use the labels in Binance’s current support instructions; follow the labels visible in your account as of October 19, 2026.
Before you create an alert
Update and sign in
- Update the Binance mobile app from your device’s official app store, or update the desktop application/browser you use for Binance.
- Sign in to the account that holds the Futures or Portfolio Margin activity you want to monitor.
- Confirm that you are viewing the correct region, account mode, and contract. Similar symbols can represent different quote assets or contract types.
Use Pro mode when the control is missing
Binance’s documented price-alert workflow is shown in Binance Pro. If you cannot see Alert in a market view, switch the app to Binance Pro, then return to Markets. A missing control can also mean that the selected instrument, account mode, app version, or jurisdiction does not expose that function.
Allow notifications before testing
Enable Binance notifications at both levels: inside Binance’s notification settings, if those settings are shown, and in the phone or desktop operating-system settings. Turn off a system-level block, restrictive focus mode, battery-saver rule, or background-data restriction that could stop Binance from delivering a push notification. Keep a working network connection while you test.

1. Open the Futures market
- Launch Binance and switch to Pro mode.
- Tap Markets.
- Search for the exact Futures trading pair, such as the contract you actually hold or trade. Check the contract type and quote asset before continuing.
- Open the pair’s market page and tap Alert.
On desktop, open the market list or the pair’s chart and look for the corresponding Alert control. Desktop and mobile layouts can place the control differently, so do not assume that a missing button means alerts are disabled for every market.

2. Choose the condition
Select the condition offered for that market. Depending on the instrument and current interface, Binance may show choices such as price reaches, rises above, drops to, or a percentage-change condition. Read the direction literally: “rises above” and “drops to” are not interchangeable, and a percentage condition may be measured over an interval chosen by the interface.
3. Enter the target and frequency
- Enter the target price or percentage value using the precision accepted by the contract.
- Choose the alert frequency offered by Binance. A one-time notification and a recurring notification have different implications for how many messages you may receive.
- Review the pair, direction, target, and frequency together. An alert on the wrong contract can look correct while monitoring a completely different market.
4. Create and verify it
Tap Create Alert. Confirm that Binance displays the alert as active or otherwise shows it in the pair’s alert list. If the alert does not appear, repeat the process after checking that the target is valid for the selected condition and that you have not reached the account limits.
Binance’s support article lists a maximum of 10 alerts per trading pair, 50 alerts in total, and 90-day validity for price alerts. Those figures are stated in Binance Support’s 2022 documentation: How to Set a Price Alert on Binance. A 90-day validity period is not a permanent standing instruction; recreate an alert when it expires if you still need it.

- BUILT FOR YOUR MARKET, FUTURES, STOCKS, FOREX, OPTIONS & CRYPTO: 4X is a mindset and process journal, not a strategy tool tied to one instrument. The plan, the trade log, the deep dive and the weekly review work the same whether you trade ES, EURUSD, SPY or BTC. Traders use it across all five markets every day.
- THE 2026 EDITION, REBUILT FROM TRADER FEEDBACK: Same trusted system, better in every way. An extra daily page for more room to log the session. Weekly reviews now grouped with each week's trades, so no more flipping back and forth. Crisp, darker print that's easy on the eyes after hours on a screen. A Quick-Start QR that scans straight to step-by-step instructions.
- NOT A NOTEBOOK, A COMPLETE 12-WEEK SYSTEM: Start with a one-time 9-part Trading Plan (your market, setups, risk rules and discipline checklist). Then twelve identical weeks: five Daily Logs, five Deep Dive trade pages, and a two-page Weekly Review. 189 guided pages, roughly 80 trades. Guided prompts walk you through every step. You never stare at a blank page.
- RATE YOUR EXECUTION, NOT YOUR RESULT: Your platform tracks the P&L. Nothing tracks the why. - Frequency.

If your plan has changed, delete an obsolete alert instead of allowing it to compete for the 50-alert account limit. Recreate a new alert when you need a different threshold. Binance can change labels and list locations, so use the controls currently visible in your account rather than an old screenshot.
How to set a Binance liquidation alert
Understand the Portfolio Margin restriction
Binance’s documented Liquidation Alert is a Portfolio Margin feature. It is tied to UniMMR, an account-level margin ratio, rather than to a single coin’s last price. Binance states that the function is unavailable in default mode. If you use ordinary Futures mode and cannot find the option, that absence is expected; it does not indicate that you missed a hidden universal Futures setting.
Open Advanced Tool settings
- Open the Binance Futures or Margin trading page while using a Portfolio Margin account.
- Open the page’s settings or tools menu.
- Under Advanced Tool, select Liquidation Alert.
- Enter the UniMMR threshold at which you want a notification.
- Save or confirm the setting, then verify that the alert is shown as enabled.
Binance documents this path in Liquidation Alert and Auto Top-Up Function in Binance Portfolio Margin. The exact location of the settings icon and the available threshold fields may differ by platform and jurisdiction.
Recommended Free Tools
Choose a threshold that leaves time to act
Your chosen UniMMR threshold should be reached before the account is in immediate danger, because a notification can be delayed and market conditions can change quickly. The correct level depends on your positions, collateral, leverage, and risk policy; Binance’s feature description does not prescribe one universal ratio. Treat the alert as an additional signal to review collateral or exposure, not as a promise that you will have a fixed amount of time to respond.
How notifications are delivered—and why they can be late
Binance alerts depend on several links in a delivery chain: the trigger must be evaluated, Binance must generate the notification, the account must be eligible for that feature, the device must permit notifications, and the network must deliver the message. A failure at any link can make an alert appear late or not at all.
| Check | What to verify | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Alert record | The alert is still active, has the intended pair and condition, and has not expired | An expired, deleted, or misconfigured alert cannot fire |
| Account mode | Price-alert controls are available for the selected market; Liquidation Alert is being attempted in Portfolio Margin | Features are not identical across default, Futures, Margin, and Portfolio Margin modes |
| Operating-system permission | Binance notifications are allowed and not silenced by focus, battery, or background-data rules | A valid trigger can be hidden by the device |
| App version | The app or desktop client is current | Older builds may use different controls or have delivery defects |
| Connectivity | The device has a stable internet connection and Binance is reachable | Binance warns that network conditions can delay or prevent reminders |
Binance does not guarantee that reminders will arrive at a particular time. A push notification is not a substitute for watching a leveraged position, maintaining collateral, or using an order-protection plan.
Troubleshoot a missing or delayed Binance alert
When no notification arrives
- Open the pair’s alert list and confirm that the alert exists and is active.
- Compare the symbol, contract type, direction, target, and frequency with the condition you intended.
- Check whether the 90-day validity period has elapsed.
- Count active alerts. Remove stale entries if you have reached 10 for the pair or 50 overall.
- Confirm that Binance notifications are allowed in the operating-system settings and that focus, silent, battery, and background-data controls are not blocking them.
- Update Binance, restart the app, and sign in again if necessary.
- Test on a reliable network. Binance explicitly warns that congestion or poor network conditions can delay or prevent reminders.
When an alert fires for the wrong market movement
Reopen the alert and read the condition as a sentence: “Notify me when [this contract] [does this movement] [at this value].” Check whether you selected a percentage-change rule rather than an absolute price rule, and verify that the quote asset and contract are correct. A target that appears numerically close can still belong to a different contract.
When the Alert button is absent
Switch to Binance Pro, update the app, and search from Markets rather than from an unrelated wallet or order screen. If the control remains absent, the pair, account mode, jurisdiction, or current interface may not support it. For a missing Liquidation Alert specifically, first confirm that the account is Portfolio Margin; Binance says the feature is unavailable in default mode.
Best Value
When delivery is consistently late
Keep a second monitoring method for positions where timing matters, such as direct chart observation or a separately configured alert channel. Do not increase leverage or leave a position unattended because a prior push arrived on time. Record the trigger time shown in Binance and the receipt time on the device; this helps distinguish a configuration error from network delay when you contact Binance support.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Optional automation with a TradingView webhook
Eligible USDⓈ-M Futures users can connect TradingView alerts to Binance through a webhook. Binance states that this workflow requires a paid TradingView subscription. It is separate from ordinary app notifications and should be treated as a higher-risk automation path because a webhook message can contain instructions that lead to trading actions.
Documented setup sequence
- In Binance, open the USDⓈ-M Futures webhook or TradingView integration area and create the webhook details supplied by Binance.
- In TradingView, create an alert or strategy with the condition you want to automate.
- Open the alert’s Notifications settings and paste the Binance webhook URL exactly where TradingView requests it.
- Configure the message body according to Binance’s current integration format and limit it to the actions you understand.
- Run the webhook and perform a harmless test before allowing it to interact with a live position.
Webhook safety rules
- Never publish a webhook URL in a screenshot, chat, public script, or shared document. Anyone who obtains a credentialed endpoint may be able to send messages to it.
- Read every permission and message field. An instruction that can place an order is materially different from a notification-only message.
- Use the smallest position size and narrowest permissions practical during testing.
- Check duplicate-trigger behavior, retry behavior, and what happens when TradingView or Binance is unreachable.
- Keep ordinary Binance alerts or manual monitoring as a fallback; automation does not remove exchange, network, or market-risk failures.
Practical ways to use both alert types
For a planned entry or exit zone
Create a price alert on the exact Futures pair and choose the direction that corresponds to your plan. Write down what you will evaluate when the notification arrives—such as checking liquidity, open orders, and current leverage—rather than treating the notification as an automatic trading decision.

Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →For a leveraged Portfolio Margin account
Use a UniMMR Liquidation Alert as an account-health warning and separate price alerts for markets that could change your margin quickly. A price threshold alone cannot represent cross-position collateral risk, while a UniMMR threshold does not tell you which contract caused the deterioration.
For overnight or unattended monitoring
Set thresholds early enough to leave decision time, verify notification permissions on every device that should receive the message, and test a non-critical alert. Avoid relying on a single push channel when a missed notification could produce a forced close.
Limits, qualifications, and current labels
The documented numerical limits—10 alerts per pair, 50 total, and 90-day validity—apply to Binance’s price-alert feature as described in its support documentation; Binance may revise limits or interface behavior. The Portfolio Margin Liquidation Alert documentation establishes the UniMMR trigger and the default-mode restriction, but it does not make the feature universal across all Futures accounts. Availability can also depend on region, account eligibility, and the version of Binance you use.
Because Binance can change navigation, always compare the labels in your current account with the support pages linked above. If your screen differs, do not guess at a setting that could affect a leveraged position; use Binance’s current help center or support channel for account-specific clarification.
Quick Recap
Safety checklist before relying on an alert
- The selected market is the exact contract you intend to monitor.
- The trigger direction, target, and frequency match your written plan.
- The alert appears as active after creation.
- You have not exceeded 10 alerts for the pair or 50 overall.
- You know the 90-day validity limit and have a reminder to recreate it if needed.
- For liquidation monitoring, your account is Portfolio Margin and the UniMMR threshold is visible as enabled.
- Binance notifications are allowed by the operating system and app.
- Your device has reliable connectivity and current software.
- You have a response plan for a notification; the alert itself will not place an order or prevent liquidation.
