To schedule a LiveReacting YouTube stream, open the project’s Settings using the gear icon, choose its scheduled start date and time, then set Live Stream Duration to determine how long it runs. There is no separate end-clock field in the documented settings: choose a duration or select “I’ll stop my stream manually.”
Set the scheduled start and run length
- Open the project settings. In LiveReacting Studio, open the stream project and click the gear icon to open Settings. Connect your YouTube channel if it is not already connected. The LiveReacting settings guide documents these controls.
- Enter the stream details. Set the title and description as needed.
- Choose how long the stream should run. Under Live Stream Duration, select a duration, or choose “I’ll stop my stream manually.” The duration is the end control: it determines the planned run length, rather than setting a specific end time on the clock.
- Set the start date and time. In Scheduling, select when the stream should launch. LiveReacting says the schedule uses your device’s timezone. Check that timezone before saving, or convert the intended start time to match it.
- Choose whether to announce it in advance. Enable “Create live announcement” if you want the scheduled event to appear on your channel before it starts, so you can share its link. This is optional.
- Save and schedule. Click Save, then Schedule. The LiveReacting scheduling guide also describes uploading a YouTube thumbnail; do not confuse that with an image used only for an announcement.
Choose the right scheduling path
You have not created a YouTube event yet
Set the start, duration or manual-stop option, and any announcement in LiveReacting, then save and schedule the project. LiveReacting’s settings guide says YouTube videos can be scheduled up to two weeks ahead; check the current interface if you need to schedule farther out, since product limits can change.
The YouTube event already exists
If you previously scheduled the event directly in YouTube, use LiveReacting’s “Connect to existing stream” option rather than creating another scheduled event. Refer to the settings guide for this connection path.
You want viewers to get an advance reminder
The LiveReacting announcement setting makes the scheduled event visible in advance. YouTube says scheduled streams may appear in the subscribers feed as upcoming, where viewers can choose “Notify me.” See YouTube’s live stream settings guidance for its description of upcoming-stream notifications.

Do not confuse scheduling with encoder start and stop
LiveReacting’s scheduled date and time set when the planned stream launches, while Live Stream Duration sets its intended run length (or lets you stop manually). YouTube’s separate auto-start and auto-stop settings concern starting or stopping a stream from the encoder. They are not a substitute for choosing the LiveReacting schedule and duration.
Check duration expectations before scheduling a long stream
LiveReacting’s help page, marked updated two years before this article’s research date, says YouTube has no duration limit but streams over 12 hours will not be archived. Treat that as vendor guidance, not a guaranteed statement of current YouTube policy; verify the current platform guidance if retaining an archive matters. Troubleshoot scheduling problems
- The stream appears at the wrong local time: confirm the device timezone LiveReacting uses, then correct the device setting or recalculate the intended time before scheduling.
- The stream does not have a planned end clock time: the documented control is duration, not a separate end-time field. Select the run length or choose manual stopping and stop it when appropriate.
- A second scheduled event is being created: if you already made the event in YouTube, choose “Connect to existing stream” instead of scheduling a new event.
- Viewers cannot find an advance listing: check whether “Create live announcement” was enabled. The announcement is optional, and a scheduled stream’s upcoming listing is distinct from the live broadcast itself.
- You need to schedule more than two weeks ahead: LiveReacting’s settings guide states a two-week scheduling horizon. Check the current interface for any changed limit rather than assuming a later date will be accepted.
