Choose the product option and quantity that show the price or discount you need, verify that the price, quantity, and discount wording are visible, then capture either the full page for context or just the pricing area for readability. Firefox and Chrome DevTools both provide built-in screenshot controls. Retailer pricing controls differ, so capture only the offer and page state actually shown.
Prepare the product page before capturing
- Open the product page and select the relevant pack, bundle, variant, or quantity if the page provides those controls.
- Check the rendered page for the exact price, quantity or bundle size, and discount wording you intend to document. If an offer appears only after a selection or another step, capture that displayed state and describe it accurately.
- Decide whether the image needs surrounding page context or whether the pricing panel alone is sufficient. Use a full-page capture when relevant details are spread across the page or below the fold; use a region or area capture when the evidence is concentrated in one panel.
Capture a product page in Firefox
Mozilla’s Firefox help documentation, last updated June 15, 2026, describes full-page, visible-area, region, and page-part screenshots. To capture the whole page, right-click the page, choose Take Screenshot, then choose Save full page. For a focused image, choose a visible area, select a region, or select an automatically highlighted page part instead. You can download the image or copy it to the clipboard. Mozilla says on that help page: “We never collect data such as the URL or details of the image captured.” The same page notes that Firefox Screenshots collects interaction events such as use of Copy or Save full page and explains how to disable collection.
Capture a product page in Chrome
Capture the whole page or current viewport
- Open Chrome DevTools and, if needed, turn on device mode to use a narrower emulated viewport.
- Open the DevTools screenshot menu and choose Capture a full size screenshot for the full page, or Capture screenshot for the current viewport.
- Review the saved image to make sure the displayed price and relevant quantity or discount remain readable.
Google documents these options in its Chrome DevTools device mode guide. Device mode is a first-order approximation: it does not run the page on an actual phone or tablet.

Capture only the pricing area
- Open the DevTools Command Menu with Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows or Linux, or Command+Shift+P on Mac.
- Type screenshot and choose Capture area screenshot.
- Drag around the price, quantity, discount wording, and enough nearby context to show what the price refers to.

Choose the right image and check it before sharing

| Full page | The pricing details are below the fold, appear in multiple places, or need surrounding product-page context. | The price panel may be smaller in the resulting image, so check that important text is legible. |
| Visible area or selected region | The evidence is concentrated in a pricing panel and a shorter image is easier to inspect. | A tight crop can omit context that identifies the product, selected option, or pricing condition. |
Before sharing, confirm that the saved image shows the chosen quantity and displayed total or discount clearly. Include enough context to identify what the price applies to. These checks help the image communicate the page state; they do not independently verify that a retailer calculated or applied a price correctly.
