On Windows 11, open the webpage in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, press Ctrl+P, choose the browser’s PDF destination, then save the file. If you want the webpage’s contents in Gujarati, translate it first if your browser offers Gujarati as a target language. Installing Gujarati in Windows is a separate, optional step; it is not needed to create a PDF.
Save a webpage as a PDF in Edge or Chrome
- Open the webpage in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. If you want a translated copy, translate the page into Gujarati first, when that option is available, and inspect the result.
- Press Ctrl+P. In Edge, you can also open Print from the Settings and more menu or the page context menu. Microsoft’s Edge print guide documents these options. Google’s Chrome print guide explains its desktop print flow.
- Review the print preview. In Chrome, choose Save as PDF as the destination. Select the settings you need, then choose the print/save control and pick a folder and filename. In Edge, choose the available PDF destination in the print dialog and save the file.
- Open the saved PDF to check that Gujarati characters render, the page breaks are sensible, and important images and links are present.
Print output depends on the website: its page may rearrange content for printing, and dynamic elements may not appear as they do on screen. Check the preview before saving rather than assuming it will be an exact copy of the live page.
Adjust the print layout before saving
Edge’s print flow includes controls for scaling, margins, background graphics, and headers and footers. It can also print selected text. Use the preview to see the effect of each setting. If a page is cluttered, Edge’s Immersive Reader may provide a cleaner view on supported websites; it is not available everywhere. These controls are covered in Microsoft’s Edge print guide.
Choose what “in Gujarati” means
Save the page as it currently appears
If you only need a PDF file, use the print steps above. You do not need to install Gujarati in Windows just to save a webpage as PDF.

Translate the webpage into Gujarati first
Edge may offer to translate a page when it detects a language outside your preferred-language list. If its translation prompt appears, choose a target language from the options it actually shows, translate, review the page, and then press Ctrl+P. Gujarati availability is not guaranteed in every browser configuration, so do not assume the option will be present. See Microsoft’s Edge translation guide.
Add Gujarati to Windows or enable Gujarati typing
To add the Gujarati language in Windows 11, open Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region > Add a language, search for Gujarati (ગુજરાતી), select it, choose the features you want, and install. An internet connection is required. Microsoft lists Gujarati among its available language packs at Windows language packs.

Adding a language for Windows and adding a Gujarati keyboard layout are related but distinct settings. Windows lets you add and switch keyboard layouts from language settings; those controls are useful for typing Gujarati, not prerequisites for printing a page. See Microsoft’s language and keyboard settings guide.
If your PC runs Windows 11 Home Single Language, Microsoft says it cannot add another display language unless you upgrade to an edition that supports multiple display languages. This limitation does not apply to every Windows 11 edition. Microsoft’s Windows edition guidance explains the restriction.

Troubleshoot common problems
- There is no Gujarati translation option: Edge’s target-language choices depend on what it offers in your configuration. If Gujarati is absent, save the original page or use a translation option that explicitly provides Gujarati, then inspect the translated page before printing.
- Gujarati characters look wrong in the PDF: Check the browser preview and open the saved file in a PDF viewer. Confirm whether the page itself displays Gujarati correctly before printing; a PDF cannot reliably fix text that is already missing or broken on the webpage.
- The PDF has awkward page breaks or missing backgrounds: Reopen print preview and adjust scaling, margins, or background graphics where available. Websites can use separate print layouts, so compare the preview with the page and try a different layout setting.
- The page includes distracting navigation or overlays: In Edge, try Immersive Reader if the website supports it, then print that view. Otherwise, use selection printing where suitable or accept that some sites do not expose a clean print layout.
- Windows will not add Gujarati as a display language: Check whether the PC uses Home Single Language. That edition has a multiple-display-language restriction; other Windows 11 editions may allow additional languages.
