You can run a 24/7 meditation stream on YouTube over JioFiber if the connection’s sustained upload speed can carry your chosen stream bitrate with headroom, and your encoder, power and network stay available. The advertised plan speed alone cannot promise uninterrupted streaming: test the connection where the encoder will run, check your Jio plan’s terms for continuous or commercial use, and make sure you have rights to all music and visuals.
What you need before streaming
- A YouTube channel eligible to livestream, with live streaming enabled.
- An encoder running on a computer or suitable standalone hardware, connected to YouTube Live.
- A continuous meditation audio-and-video feed, plus a plan for keeping the encoder, router and power available.
- Music and visuals you created or have licensed for live broadcast and any replay you intend to make available.
- A JioFiber connection whose measured, sustained upload speed has enough headroom for your stream bitrate and other household traffic.
First-time YouTube live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before your planned launch. YouTube also requires channels to have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. Check the channel’s eligibility and current status in YouTube Studio before scheduling a public broadcast. YouTube’s live-streaming access guidance explains access requirements.
How to set up the stream
1. Clear the rights for music and visuals
Use original material or obtain permission covering YouTube live transmission and, if desired, an archived replay. A track described as “meditation,” “ambient” or “royalty-free” is not by itself proof that those uses are licensed. Keep the license and permission records. 2. Build and test a continuous feed
Prepare the meditation scene and audio in your encoder, set YouTube Live Control Room as the destination, and handle the stream key as a password: do not publish it or share it with people who should not control your stream. Test the entire loop, transitions, audio level, and how the encoder handles the source files over an extended run. Official encoder instructions describe connecting an encoder to YouTube, but do not guarantee that a particular loop configuration will remain open indefinitely. YouTube’s encoder setup instructions

3. Choose compatible encoder settings
YouTube’s general encoder guidance lists H.264, H.265/HEVC and AV1, recommends constant bitrate (CBR), and recommends a two-second keyframe interval that does not exceed four seconds. Select settings supported by your encoder and confirm the current requirements shown for your chosen protocol and resolution in YouTube Live Control Room. Do not pick a bitrate by plan speed alone: base it on the sustained upload you measure at the encoder, leaving room for fluctuations and other network use. YouTube’s live encoder settings
How much JioFiber upload speed do you need?
Upload speed is the limiting bandwidth for sending a live feed. YouTube recommends keeping 20% upload headroom above the stream bitrate and warns that other devices sharing the network can reduce the bandwidth available to the encoder. For example, a stream configured at a given bitrate needs more than that bitrate in available, sustained upload; reserve the recommended headroom rather than running at the connection’s measured ceiling. Jio describes JioFiber prepaid plans as having symmetrical upload and download speeds. A Jio comparison page gives examples of 30/30, 100/100 and 150/150 Mbps plans, but availability and current terms depend on your address and account. Test the actual connection
- Connect the encoder computer to the Jio router by Ethernet where practical; Wi-Fi may be more exposed to interference and shared usage.
- Pause avoidable uploads and downloads, then measure outbound speed more than once over time rather than relying on one brief peak.
- Repeat the test with the household devices normally in use. The stream has to coexist with that traffic.
- Run a representative test broadcast and check YouTube Live Control Room’s stream health. If it reports instability, reduce bitrate or resolution and retest.
An optional Ethernet cable can provide a wired path from the encoder to the router, but it cannot prevent interruptions in the broadband service, router or power supply.

Rehearse the long run and plan for interruptions
- Schedule an unlisted test and check the preview before starting the broadcast.
- Open the public watch page on another device to confirm viewers can receive the stream and hear the audio as intended.
- Monitor stream health during the rehearsal, including with the usual household network activity.
- Practice stopping and restarting the encoder, restarting the computer, and recovering after a network interruption. YouTube recommends testing encoder failover; if you record locally, check that the archive file continues to grow as expected. YouTube’s streaming tips
- For an unattended broadcast, arrange a way to notice an outage and a realistic recovery plan. A single JioFiber line and encoder are not, by themselves, an automatic 24/7 uptime system.
Do not promise viewers a replay until you have verified YouTube’s current archive behavior for a continuous event longer than 12 hours. The documentation available for this setup does not establish what archive outcome to expect for an event of that length; check YouTube’s current live-stream help or split the broadcast into planned events if you need predictable replay access.
Check JioFiber data and use terms
Continuous streaming transfers data for as long as the encoder sends the feed, and higher bitrates use more. Jio’s home-plan FAQ describes unlimited high-speed data while reserving the right to discontinue service for misuse, fraudulent, unauthorized or commercial use. Separately, Jio’s prepaid terms describe consumption beyond 3,300 GB in a 30-day recharge cycle as misuse under the stated commercial-use policy. These are plan terms, not a general assurance that every 24/7 broadcast is permitted. Common problems and what to do
Stream health becomes unstable
Congestion, a fluctuating upload connection or competing household traffic may leave too little headroom. Pause nonessential transfers, check sustained outbound speed again, and lower bitrate or resolution until a representative test is stable.
The feed stops when the computer or connection drops
The encoder needs to keep sending video and audio to YouTube. Check the computer, encoder and router, then restore the feed and verify it in Live Control Room and on the watch page. Rehearse those recovery steps beforehand; the cited YouTube guidance does not establish that one encoder and broadband connection will recover unattended.

The first livestream cannot start
Confirm that live streaming is enabled and the channel is eligible, including the restriction history requirement. If this is the first activation, allow up to 24 hours for it to become available.

Music or visuals trigger a rights concern
Review the material against the actual license for YouTube broadcast and replay. Replace content when the license does not clearly cover the intended use; a “royalty-free” label alone does not establish permission.
The stream works, but the replay is missing or uncertain
For a continuous event longer than 12 hours, verify current YouTube archive behavior before relying on an automatic replay. Plan event breaks or separate broadcasts if a replay is essential.
