To rotate Hindi devotional playlists by weekday, create a named playlist or playback queue for each day, choose a steady start time, and arrange for a playback system—not just YouTube’s event calendar—to switch to the right queue. Schedule the live broadcasts separately in YouTube Studio, publish the weekly timetable, and clear the rights for every recording before streaming it.
Plan a weekly rotation your channel can sustain
YouTube does not prescribe a devotional theme for any particular weekday, and the available guidance does not establish that one weekday or theme performs better. Treat the rotation as an editorial choice: make it easy for viewers to remember and practical for you to maintain.
Choose the broadcast format first
Decide whether you will run a separate scheduled live event on each day or keep one continuous or long-running broadcast. That choice affects when you need to change playlists, who will monitor the stream, and what schedule viewers should expect.
Build a simple, recognizable grid
Pick themes that suit your audience and the recordings you have permission to use. For example, a channel might assign a different deity, devotional mood, or format to each day. These are programming examples, not a religious calendar or a claim about audience demand. Use the same start time where possible, and choose a cadence you can keep up with. YouTube recommends a consistent, sustainable schedule, recurring formats, and telling fans about changes; it does not require daily broadcasts.

Give each playlist a clear name containing the weekday and theme, such as “Monday — morning bhajans.” Keep a separate record of the timetable so an operator can verify the day and queue before going live.
Set up the playlists and playback handoff
Prepare one queue for each weekday

On a computer, open YouTube and go to the playlist-management area to create a playlist for each planned day. YouTube’s playlist instructions cover creating and managing playlists.

Use a consistent naming pattern that makes the weekday and theme obvious. Add only recordings you have cleared for the intended live use.

Check each queue’s order, duration, and playback behavior in the system that will actually feed the live stream. Do not assume that saving or updating a normal YouTube playlist changes the audio in a live broadcast that is already running.

Keep event scheduling separate from track playback
YouTube Live has distinct broadcast and stream resources. Its API documentation describes how broadcasts and stream settings are managed and how a stream resource can be reused for a series of scheduled events; it is not a music-queue controller. For a manual workflow, select the correct queue in the playback setup before each event starts. For an automated workflow, verify that the playback layer can switch queues at the required weekday and time, and test the handoff and reconnect behavior before you announce a recurring schedule. YouTube Studio’s event schedule and the system selecting and playing tracks are separate parts of the setup.
Schedule and announce the YouTube Live events

Confirm the channel is eligible to stream. YouTube says channels must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days; creators must be at least 16 years old. Check the current status in YouTube Studio and see Get started with live streaming.

In YouTube Studio, schedule each event for the date and start time in your timetable. If using an API-based workflow, follow YouTube’s broadcast and stream resource process rather than treating a playlist as the broadcast schedule.

Before each event, check the date, title, visibility, scheduled time, stream configuration, and selected weekday queue. For a series, confirm that the intended queue is loaded at every handoff.

Post the weekly grid where viewers can find it, such as a channel post, video or live-event description, or pinned community message. Tell viewers when the schedule changes. YouTube’s live upload schedule tips recommend sustainable frequency, consistency, recurring formats, and communicating changes.
Clear music rights before you go live
Devotional subject matter, a traditional melody, or an assumption that a work is public domain does not by itself establish that a particular commercial recording is free to rebroadcast. Rights can differ by recording, underlying work, territory, and intended use. Verify each track and keep licenses or written permissions that cover both the live broadcast and any archive or video-on-demand (VOD) viewers may access.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can cause a placeholder to replace the stream; if the material remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the broadcast. A license does not necessarily prevent that outcome: YouTube says a rights owner may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. An archived stream may also receive a Content ID claim after the live event. Read Copyright issues with live streams, and coordinate with the label or distributor when using protected music, as YouTube for Artists recommends. Confirm allowlisting with the rights holder or distributor when applicable.

Choose manual or hosted playback
A manual setup gives you direct control over queue selection but requires an operator or a reliable local playback workflow at the changeover. A hosted playback workflow may reduce hands-on operation, but you still need to confirm that it switches playlists when required, keeps the broadcast stable during handoffs, handles reconnects, and alerts you to problems. Rights clearance and viewer-facing schedule communication remain your responsibility in either setup. The playlist changes online, but live audio does not: a YouTube playlist update does not itself control an already-running live broadcast. Make the change in the playback layer feeding the stream, then verify the output.

Audio stops or the broadcast disconnects during a changeover: test the queue handoff and reconnect process in advance. Check the encoder or hosted playback workflow, stream connection, and any available operator alerts; do not announce a long-term schedule until the handoff works as intended.

YouTube replaces or interrupts the stream: review the live copyright notice and identify the matched recording. Confirm that your permission covers live use and, if you keep the archive public, VOD use. Ask the rights owner or distributor about Content ID allowlisting where needed.
