In Wartune Ultra, resetting mastery skills is not the same as changing class. A current version 4.1 guide, updated October 5, 2026, says you cannot change a character’s class after starting; its suggested way to try another class is to create a new character on a different server. The official patch notes confirm mastery-skill resets and selected cross-class skills, but do not confirm the class-change restriction or explain what, if anything, carries between servers.
Can you change your class in Wartune Ultra?
According to Pocket Gamer’s version 4.1 guide, updated October 5, 2026, a character cannot change class after it has been created. The guide recommends switching servers and making a new character if you want to play a different class. This is a secondary guide’s advice, not a restriction independently confirmed in the official patch notes reviewed here.
Before starting over, check the game’s current account and server rules. The available sources do not establish whether characters, progress, purchases, or other account details transfer or are retained when changing servers.
Does a mastery-skill reset change your class?
No. The official V2.5 launch notes say: “Codex is split into two parts: amulet and mastery skill, the amulet will not longer be subject to the codex; mastery skill can be reset.” That describes resetting mastery skills, not changing the character’s class. The notes do not specify a reset cost, required item, or exact menu path.

Can you use skills from other classes?
Some cross-class skills are available through Mastery, but learning them does not switch your character’s class. The official V2.1.1 notes, dated November 4, 2024, say Mastery unlocks at level 55 and lets players study Codexes and Dragonchant Codexes from other classes. They also describe learning some skills from other classes in the Mastery Skills tab under Skills.
The official V4.0 notes, dated June 22, 2026, describe a separate multiplayer PvE mode in which a Lord’s original character skills are replaced during battle by the dungeon’s default skills; skills after Sylph transformation are unaffected. This is a mode-specific rule, not a class-change option.

Which class should you choose?
Pocket Gamer’s guide lists Knight, Mage, and Archer. Its descriptions can help you decide which new character to try:
