To reroll The Battle Cats, start a fresh save, claim the opening rewards available on your current version, spend only those initial resources on a suitable banner, and keep the account when the result gives broad campaign value. Use Rare Tickets as single pulls; normally save Cat Food for a guaranteed 11-draw or a worthwhile Step Up opportunity. Judge the whole roster—coverage, range, survivability, upgrade practicality and remaining resources—not one supposedly permanent “best” Cat.
What rerolling is—and what a good result looks like
Rerolling means creating a new local save, using the early tickets or currency supplied to a new player, checking the pulls, and restarting if the result does not give the account a useful foundation. It is a time trade-off, not a requirement. Early Battle Cats stages are also determined by treasures, Cat levels, User Rank, story unlocks and free units, so a flashy pull is not automatically better than a practical roster.
There is no permanent, version-independent “best reroll Cat.” Banners, event rewards, drop rates and unit evaluations change. A unit that is highly valued on one live banner may be unavailable on another, and a famous unit can be less useful than a less celebrated one that fills a missing role in your particular account. Treat tier lists as temporary context, not as a reroll rule.

- Broad campaign usefulness: it performs in ordinary story stages instead of only one narrow matchup.
- Frontline stability: it adds enough range, durability or damage to prevent the early line from collapsing.
- Practical investment: it remains useful while basic Cat levels and treasures are still being developed.
- Relevant trait coverage: it helps against enemy traits that appear regularly in the campaign.
- Role complementarity: it adds something your guaranteed or freely earned units do not already do.
The best keeper is therefore a package: useful gacha units, a manageable early progression path and enough resources left to make future decisions.
Prepare before you reset anything
Choose the intended language version first
Install the language version you intend to keep before investing time in rerolls. PONOS states that English-version data cannot be transferred to other language versions. Changing language versions later is not a safe migration plan for a keeper account.

Know what rerolling can and cannot guarantee
The number of opening rewards and available pulls can differ by game version, region, event and banner schedule. Do not plan around a fixed number of tickets or Cat Food, and do not assume that a particular promotion will still be present when you install the game. Your procedure should be based on the resources actually displayed in the current save.
Set a role-based target
Before rolling, decide what your new account needs most: dependable general damage, more range, a sturdier frontline, or coverage for a trait your free roster lacks. This prevents a reroll loop in which every result is rejected simply because it does not contain a famous name.
Understand the time cost
Rerolling has no required physical product or accessory. Its cost is the time spent repeating the opening sequence and the risk of accidentally deleting or transferring the wrong save. If an account already progresses comfortably, additional rerolls often save less time than improving treasures and levels on the account you have.
Step-by-step: a safe Battle Cats reroll
- Install the intended language edition. Confirm the language before beginning. Do not rely on a later transfer to change editions.
- Start a new save. Complete only the opening content required to receive the resources and pulls currently offered. Avoid spending extra time on optional progression until you know whether the result is a keeper.
- Inspect the live banners. Identify which banner best matches your goal and whether it offers a guaranteed multi-draw or Step Up structure. Banner names, rewards and availability are version-dependent.
- Use the initial tickets deliberately. Rare Tickets are single-pull resources. Spend them on the banner whose available units provide the broadest early campaign value for your roster.
- Handle Cat Food separately. Unless the current event gives a clearly favorable structure, hold Cat Food for a guaranteed 11-draw or a worthwhile Step Up opportunity. Do not convert a limited starting balance into isolated random rolls merely to finish a reroll faster.
- Record what the result actually adds. Note the units, their roles, trait coverage, usable range or durability, and how much Cat Food and how many Rare Tickets remain. Evaluate the account, not just the rarest pull.
- Decide whether the roster fills a real gap. Compare the result with your guaranteed and free units. Keep it if it improves campaign coverage and can be leveled usefully during early progression.
- Restart only when the result fails your stopping test. Use the game’s normal reset or reinstall process for your device. Event menus and opening rewards can differ, so follow the reset behavior shown by your current version rather than a fixed online recipe.
- Protect a keeper immediately. Record its Inquiry Code before changing devices, experimenting with transfers or performing other account-management actions.
Do not begin a transfer as a substitute for ordinary rerolling. Transfer tools are for moving a keeper between devices, and their codes have specific one-time-use rules.
How to spend Rare Tickets and Cat Food
Starter guidance treats the two resources differently because they serve different strategic checkpoints. Rare Tickets are single pulls, so they can be used one at a time while you inspect a banner. Cat Food is usually more valuable when it unlocks a guaranteed result or a multi-draw structure.

A community beginner guide similarly recommends using Cat Food for guaranteed Uber draws and reserving Rare Tickets for higher-value festival banners. That advice describes a common strategy, not a promise that every event will offer the same guarantee or that every festival is superior for every account.
When spending Cat Food during a reroll can make sense
Spend it during the opening cycle only when the current banner explicitly provides a guaranteed or otherwise unusually favorable structure and the resulting units solve a genuine roster problem. Read the event’s in-game conditions first. A banner that looks attractive in an old video may have different costs, guarantees or availability now.
When to stop spending
Once the account has a dependable campaign package, preserve the remaining Cat Food and tickets. Keeping a reserve can be more valuable than chasing one additional random result, especially when a future guaranteed draw is available.
Evaluate pulls by function, not fame
Campaign coverage
Ask whether the unit helps in ordinary story stages you will play repeatedly. A narrow specialist can be excellent later yet contribute little to the first progression hurdles. General damage, a reliable attack pattern or useful range can matter more at the start than a unit whose value depends on a specific matchup.

Range, durability and damage
Early teams need a way to hold the frontline and deal damage from a safe position. Consider whether the result gives you more reach, survives long enough to attack, or supplies damage that your free roster lacks. You do not need every category in one unit; you need a combination that prevents the same weakness from appearing across the entire lineup.
Trait coverage
Check which enemy traits the unit handles and whether those traits occur regularly in the campaign. Coverage is most valuable when it complements your existing units instead of duplicating a trait answer you already have.
Upgrade accessibility
A unit can be powerful on paper yet awkward for a new account if its usefulness depends on upgrades you cannot reach soon. Prefer results that remain serviceable while basic Cat levels, treasures and User Rank are still developing.
Overlap with free and guaranteed units
List the roles already covered by units the game gives you. If a pull duplicates that role, it may still be useful, but it should be weighed against a pull that adds range, survivability or trait coverage your roster is missing.

Resources left after the opening rolls
Two accounts with similar units are not equal if one has spent all of its Cat Food while the other retains enough for a guaranteed opportunity. Record the remaining Rare Tickets and Cat Food as part of the result.

A practical keeper checklist
Use this checklist after the opening pulls:
- Can the roster handle ordinary campaign stages without relying on one narrow matchup?
- Does at least one unit improve range, frontline durability or dependable damage?
- Is there useful coverage for common enemy traits?
- Will the units remain relevant while basic levels and treasures are low?
- Do the pulls complement, rather than simply duplicate, free and guaranteed units?
- Are meaningful Cat Food or Rare Ticket reserves still available?
- Would improving treasures and User Rank now produce more progress than another reroll cycle?
If most answers are yes, the account meets a sensible early-game standard even if it lacks a celebrated tier-list name.
How to choose between two nearly equal accounts
When both results look playable, compare them directly instead of rerolling indefinitely.

A slightly less famous unit can be the better keeper when it fills a missing role and leaves more future resources. The objective is a smoother campaign, not a screenshot of a particular name.

Stop when the account can progress comfortably and the result fills a real role. Early stages are shaped by more than gacha luck: Empire of Cats treasures, User Rank, story unlocks, level investment and freely earned units all matter. Chasing a perfect opening roster can consume more time than it saves.
Use a guaranteed multi-draw as a natural Cat Food checkpoint. If the live banner offers one and your account already has a workable foundation, saving for that checkpoint is generally more disciplined than making repeated isolated rolls. Conversely, if the current result lacks any dependable campaign tool and your opening resources are exhausted, restarting may be reasonable.
What to do after keeping the account
Prioritize Empire of Cats treasures
Current starter guidance places Empire of Cats treasures near the top of early progression. Treasures improve the foundation on which every unit operates, so they can matter more than another marginal reroll once you have a usable team.

User Rank and story unlocks expand what the account can access. Progress through the campaign with the roster you kept, collecting the improvements that make later stages and upgrades more manageable.

Level a complementary team
Do not funnel every early resource into one gacha unit. Maintain a lineup that combines your new pull with free and guaranteed units, covering frontline presence, damage, range and relevant traits. This makes the account less vulnerable when a stage favors a role your headline unit does not provide.
Reassess only after real progression
Evaluate the account again after treasures and basic levels improve. A unit that seemed merely adequate at level one can become the correct keeper once it works inside a balanced team; the reverse can also happen when a unit’s value depended on conditions you cannot yet meet.

Before changing devices or experimenting with data management, record the Inquiry Code. For an actual move, use PONOS’s in-game Data Transfer flow and follow the prompts shown on both devices.
PONOS warns that the Transfer Code and Confirmation Code displayed after Data Transfer begins are one-time-use. Its official wording is: “The Transfer Code and Confirmation Code displayed after your Data Transfer begins will be required to resume the transfer: DO NOT LOSE THIS INFORMATION.” Store the displayed information securely until the process is complete.

PONOS also warns that if a transfer is halted, the previous codes cannot be reused. Do not discard the codes, close the process casually or assume you can restart with the same credentials.
After data is retrieved, the old-device save is reset and can no longer be used there. Treat the transfer as a move, not a duplication method, and verify that the destination device has the intended account before continuing.
Common reroll and transfer problems
The opening rewards are different from a guide
Rewards and menus can change with the game version, event schedule and region. Use the resources actually displayed in your save and do not restart solely because an old guide lists a different opening total.
The banner no longer matches a tier list
Tier-list advice ages quickly. Reapply the role-based test: campaign coverage, range or durability, trait coverage, upgrade practicality, overlap and remaining resources. If the live banner does not offer a useful target, save resources or wait for a better in-game opportunity rather than forcing a roll.
You spent Cat Food on isolated rolls
The account is not automatically ruined. Recheck whether the resulting roster still meets the keeper checklist. If it does, preserve the remaining currency and continue; if it lacks a workable role and you have no realistic recovery path, restart using the normal local reset process.
A transfer was interrupted
Do not generate assumptions about replacement codes. PONOS states that the displayed Transfer Code and Confirmation Code are required to resume and that old codes cannot be reused after a halted transfer. Follow the current in-game recovery instructions and retain any newly displayed information.
You chose the wrong language edition
English-version data cannot be transferred to other language versions. If the account is still disposable, restart in the intended edition before investing further time. For a keeper, select the language carefully at installation.
A fast decision framework
- Confirm the edition: Is this the language version you intend to keep?
- Check the roles: Does the result add broad campaign value, useful range, durability, damage or trait coverage?
- Check practicality: Can you level and use the units during early story progress?
- Check duplication: Are you adding a missing role instead of repeating a free unit?
- Check reserves: Do you still have resources for a future guaranteed or favorable opportunity?
- Choose: If the account progresses comfortably, record the Inquiry Code and invest in treasures and story progress. If it does not, restart once through the normal device process.
This approach keeps rerolling focused: secure a functional starting package, protect it correctly, and move on to the progression systems that determine how far the account can go.
