Open the Kick channel or VOD, click the Report icon at the bottom-right of the video player, choose the closest category, and submit one factual report. You can also report an individual chat message, user, streamer, clip, or VOD from its message or username menu. Reports are anonymous. If anyone faces immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services first, then report the content to Kick.
Report a Kick stream or VOD
The web reporting control is located in the video player. Use it for a live channel or a recorded VOD showing animal abuse, dangerous activity, violence, self-harm, or another Community Guidelines concern.
- Preserve safe evidence. Note the channel or account name, stream or VOD title, URL, date and time, and the relevant timestamps. Take screenshots only when doing so is safe. Do not download, save, or redistribute illegal material.
- Open the channel or VOD. Go to the page containing the live player or recording.
- Click the Report icon. It is at the bottom-right of the video player.
- Choose the closest category. Select the rule that best describes what you observed, such as animal abuse or dangerous activity. Use the most specific accurate category rather than selecting several unrelated categories.
- Describe the event factually. State what happened, when it happened, who appeared to be involved, and why it fits the selected rule. Include timestamps and any relevant context.
- Submit once. Kick asks users to file only one report per issue.
A report can still be useful after a live broadcast ends. A VOD preserves the material for moderation review, while timestamps help reviewers locate the relevant moment quickly. If a VOD is later removed or becomes unavailable, retain the URL and notes you made while viewing it, but do not circulate copies of harmful material.

Chat messages and usernames
For a specific chat message or account, click the message or username and choose Report. This route is appropriate when the problem is concentrated in a message, a user’s conduct, or a profile rather than the video itself. Include the exact words, the account name, and the approximate time so the reviewer can distinguish the message from surrounding conversation.

Streamers, clips, and recordings
Kick also supports reports against streamers, clips, and VODs. Choose the report target that most directly contains the violation. If a clip shows the harmful moment, report the clip; if the conduct occurred in the live broadcast or full recording, report the channel or VOD as well. Do not create multiple reports for the same incident merely because it appears in more than one view. One well-documented report can point moderators to all relevant URLs.

What counts as animal abuse on Kick?
Kick’s Violence guideline prohibits unnecessary suffering or harm, including illegal or abusive practices. Animal content is assessed in context, so the presence of an animal or a death is not by itself proof of a violation.
Examples that warrant a report
- Deliberately inflicting pain, injury, or prolonged distress on an animal for entertainment, attention, or engagement.
- Illegal hunting, torture, baiting, or other abusive practices.
- Conduct that causes unnecessary suffering and is presented, encouraged, or escalated by the creator.
Why context matters
Kick says legal activities such as regulated hunting or cultural practices may be permitted when they are lawful and considered in context. Reviewers consider the creator’s intent, level of involvement, reaction, outcome, external influences, and channel history. An unexpected incident followed by a responsible response may be treated differently from a streamer who causes, encourages, or escalates the harm.

What counts as dangerous activity?
Kick’s Personal Safety and Self-Harm guideline says high-risk activities and dangerous stunts should be performed only by professionals, and creators must not put themselves in unsafe situations that could lead to serious injury or death. The suspension guide specifically lists reckless driving, reckless operation of machinery, and conduct creating a serious risk of physical harm to bystanders.
Reportable danger can include
- Driving recklessly while broadcasting, particularly when other road users or passengers are placed at risk.
- Operating machinery in a reckless way or around people who could be injured.
- Stunts or challenges that create a serious risk of injury or death.
- Conduct that puts bystanders in immediate physical danger, even if nobody has yet been injured.
Describe the action and the risk rather than relying on labels. For example, identify the vehicle or machine, what the creator did, whether other people were nearby, and the timestamp. A clear description helps reviewers distinguish a genuine high-risk event from ordinary activity, staged discussion, or a clip missing important context. If the danger involves a threat, harassment, violence, or self-harm rather than an activity, select the category that most closely reflects the conduct and explain the overlap in your description.
What to include in the report
Kick’s Help Center says that the clearer and more specific a report is, the faster it can act on it. A useful report is a short factual record, not an argument or a demand for a particular punishment.
Essential details
- Identity: channel, streamer, user, or account name.
- Location: direct channel, VOD, clip, or message URL.
- Timing: date, approximate time, and exact video timestamp or chat time.
- Observation: what you saw or read, using neutral, concrete language.
- Rule connection: why the conduct appears to involve animal suffering, dangerous activity, violence, self-harm, harassment, or another specific guideline.
- Context: whether the event was ongoing, whether other people or animals were at risk, and how the creator responded.

You can organize the description in four sentences:

- Identify the content and timestamp.
- State exactly what occurred.
- Explain the concrete risk or harm.
- Identify the closest rule category and mention any relevant context.
For example: “At 01:14:32 in the VOD, the streamer repeatedly struck the animal while it was restrained. The animal appears to be in distress, and the conduct is presented as entertainment. This appears to match the animal-abuse category. The stream remained live for several minutes afterward.” Use this only as a writing model; replace it with what you actually observed.
Evidence and privacy precautions
Capture only what is needed to identify and review the incident. A screenshot showing the player, channel name, and timestamp can be more useful than a long recording. Keep the original URL, note your time zone when recording the date and time, and distinguish what is visible from what you infer. Do not expose a victim’s address, phone number, medical information, or other personal details unless they are essential to explain an immediate threat. Never bait the streamer into repeating the conduct just to obtain stronger evidence.
What to do when danger is happening now
If a person or animal faces an immediate physical threat, contact your local emergency services first. Kick’s reporting tool is for platform moderation; it is not a substitute for police, fire, medical, animal-control, or other emergency responders.
- Call the appropriate local emergency number and provide the location and nature of the danger.
- Do not confront the streamer, approach a dangerous scene, or put yourself at risk to collect evidence.
- After contacting emergency services, submit one Kick report with the live URL, current timestamp, and a concise description that makes the urgency clear.
- For a serious threat that requires email contact, Kick lists
[email protected]. For general guideline questions, it lists[email protected].
Kick says urgent ongoing harmful broadcasts are prioritized, but it does not promise a fixed response time. Processing can vary with the complexity of the report, the need for more information, current volume, and whether the event is still happening. Emergency responders can act on a physical location; a platform moderator generally cannot, so provide the location to responders even if you also report the stream.
Can the streamer see who reported them?
Kick says reports are anonymous or confidential. The reported streamer or user is not given your identity through the report. You may not be told what action Kick takes, because the platform does not guarantee an outcome notice to the reporter.
Keep your own safety and privacy in mind. Do not reveal personal details in the report unless they are necessary to explain the incident, and do not contact or threaten the reported account. Blocking or muting the account can reduce further contact while the report is reviewed, but those tools do not replace a report about harmful content.
What happens after you submit?
Every platform report enters a moderation queue. Reviewers examine the reported content and related context under the Community Guidelines. Possible outcomes include:

- No action when the material does not violate a rule or lacks sufficient context.
- A warning or chat mute.
- Revocation of privileges or other account restrictions.
- Content removal.
- Temporary suspension.
- Indefinite suspension.
- Permanent ban.
The response depends on the severity and circumstances. Kick says reviewers consider intent, involvement, reaction, outcome, external influences, and channel history, so similar-looking clips can receive different outcomes when their contexts differ. A report is not a vote: a large number of duplicate submissions does not guarantee a particular penalty, and one precise report can be enough to start review.

How to choose the right reporting route

Reporting mistakes that can hurt the process
Sending duplicates
Submit one report per issue. Repeating the same report does not speed review. Coordinated false reports, bad-faith reports, or deliberately misusing categories can lead to action against the reporting account.
Choosing a dramatic but inaccurate category
Select the closest rule supported by your observation. If the issue is reckless machinery use, do not label it animal abuse unless an animal is actually being harmed. Accurate categorization gives moderators a usable starting point.
Writing conclusions instead of evidence
Statements such as “this person is evil” do not tell a reviewer what happened. Replace them with observable actions, timestamps, words, and consequences. If you are unsure about a legal or medical conclusion, describe the conduct and the apparent risk without claiming facts you cannot verify.

Do not download or repost illegal content to prove a point. Use the original Kick URL, timestamps, and screenshots where safe and lawful. Sharing harmful material can increase its reach and expose you or others to additional risk.
Putting yourself in danger
Do not approach a dangerous location, confront the creator, interfere with a vehicle or machine, or delay an emergency call to gather better evidence. Safety takes priority over a complete report.
Emailing a Terms of Service complaint
Use the in-platform controls whenever they fit the incident. If the issue requires a Terms of Service complaint by email, send it to [email protected]. Put the account name and a short description in the subject, then provide the direct URL, date and time, timestamps, relevant screenshots, and a concise explanation of the rule concern. Separate facts from assumptions and explain whether the content is still live. For a general question about a guideline rather than a specific enforcement complaint, Kick lists [email protected].
Email is not an emergency channel. If someone is in immediate danger, call local responders first and then send the platform information when it is safe. Avoid sending repeated emails about the same incident; an additional message should add genuinely new information rather than restate the original report.
After reporting: what you can and cannot expect
Kick’s review timeline varies. The platform does not publish a fixed service-level response time, and it may not disclose the final decision. Keep the report confirmation or your notes if you need to refer to the incident later, but do not flood support with follow-ups about the same issue.

If the harmful broadcast is still active, a concise update through the appropriate channel can identify that it is ongoing, but it should not become a series of duplicate reports. For an immediate threat to life or physical safety, continue working with local emergency responders rather than waiting for a platform decision.

What should I do if the threat is immediate?
Call local emergency services first and provide the location and nature of the threat. Once safe, submit one Kick report with the live URL, timestamp, and a factual explanation. Platform moderation cannot replace emergency response.
Official contact options
