Redeem a Dead by Daylight code in-game: open Store > Featured > Redeem, enter the code, and select Redeem. Then return to the Store to check for the reward. Codes can expire, and an error may also mean you already own the reward.
How to redeem a code in Dead by Daylight
- Launch Dead by Daylight.
- Open Store and select the Featured tab.
- Select Redeem at the bottom left.
- Enter the code, then select Redeem again.
- Return to the Store and check for the reward.
These are the steps in Behaviour Interactive Support’s code redemption instructions, published January 26, 2024. GamesRadar+ reports codes are not case-sensitive, but Behaviour’s instructions do not specify whether capitalization matters. If a correctly entered code is rejected, check its status and whether you already own its reward.

Different lists can reflect different dates: PC Gamer’s code roundup was last updated July 24, 2026, and showed a different snapshot, including codes GamesRadar+ later listed as expired. Treat a code list as time-sensitive, not as a permanent inventory.
What to check if a code does not work
- Confirm the entry: Check the characters and try again through Store > Featured > Redeem.
- Check for expiry: Behaviour says an expired code may produce an error. A code appearing on an older list may no longer work.
- Check whether you own the reward: Behaviour also identifies already-owned items as a possible reason for an error.
- Use the intended account: Make sure you are redeeming on the account where you want the reward. A rejected code is not necessarily fixable by retrying.
Behaviour’s support page does not enumerate every error or provide a complete troubleshooting guide, so it is not possible to diagnose every rejection from the message alone.

Prime Gaming codes use a separate claim step
For a Prime Gaming offer, Behaviour’s Prime Gaming FAQ describes a claim-then-redeem process: claim a unique code from the Dead by Daylight offer page, then enter it in-game using the Store redemption steps above. The FAQ says a code can be redeemed on one platform. Sharing content across accounts depends on those platforms being part of the Cross-Progression system and linked through a Behaviour account. Behaviour says it cannot transfer cosmetics claimed on the wrong account or issue a replacement code. The FAQ does not confirm that a Dead by Daylight Prime Gaming offer is currently active.
