1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteTo prevent silence between podcast episodes on a YouTube live stream, remove the pause in the playback source feeding the broadcast. In OBS, enable Loop for a single episode or use a VLC Video source with a playlist and Loop Playlist enabled for multiple episodes. YouTube’s viewer-side Loop setting does not control a creator’s live feed.
Why silence happens between episodes
A live stream sends the output of its encoder or streaming service to YouTube. If the source finishes an episode and waits before starting the next one, viewers hear that gap. Set up continuous playback in the source that feeds the stream—not in the YouTube watch player.
YouTube Help describes its Loop control for viewers who want to repeat a video or playlist during ordinary playback. That is separate from configuring an encoder to send a continuous live feed. YouTube’s encoder setup uses a server URL and stream key to connect the encoder to the live stream: YouTube Help: stream using an encoder.
Set up looping in OBS
Loop one episode
- In OBS, add a Media Source for the episode file.
- Open the source’s properties and enable Loop.
- Confirm the source is audible in the stream mix. Hearing it through local monitoring alone does not confirm that it is reaching viewers.
- Run a test and listen through the episode’s ending and restart before broadcasting.
OBS documents the Media Source Loop option as replaying the file after playback completes. See the OBS Media Sources documentation.
#1 Best Overall
- [Natural Audio Clarity] Operated with frequency response of 50Hz-16KHz, the podcasting XLR mic delivers balanced audio range, likely to resonate with your audience. Directional cardioid dynamic microphone corded will not exaggerate your voice, while rejects unwanted off-axis noise for vocal originality and intelligibility during your PS5 gaming streaming video recording. (Tips: Keep the top of end-addressing XLR dynamic microphone AM8 facing audio source, and suggested recording range is 2 to 6 in.)
- [XLR Connection Upgrade-Ability] To use XLR connection, connect the podcast microphone to an audio interface (or mixer) using a separate XLR cable (NOT Included) . Well-connected and smooth operation improves audio flexibility to make you explore various types of music recording singing. The streaming mic isolates the pristine and accurate sound from ambient noise with greater no interference and fidelity. (RGB and function key on mic are INACTIVE when using XLR connection.)
- [USB Connection with Handy Mute] Skip the hassle of setting something up and plug the cable to play the dynamic USB microphone directly, which suits for beginner creators or daily podcast. You can quickly control the gamer mic with tap-to-mute that is independent of computer/Macbook programs to keep privacy when live streaming. LED mute reminder helps you get rid of forgetting to cancel the mute. (RGB and function key are only available for USB connection, but NOT for XLR connection)
- [Soothing Controllable RGB] RGB ring on the desktop gaming microphone for PC, with 3 modes and more than 10 light colors collection, matches your PC gears accessories for gaming synergy even in dim room. You can control the RGB key button of the dynamic microphone USB directly for game color scheme gaming or live streaming. Configured memory function, the streaming microphone RGB no need to repeated selections after turnning off and brings itself alive when power on. (Only available for USB connection)
- [More Function Keys] Computer microphone with headphones jack upgrades your rhythm game experience and gets feedback whether the real-time voice your audience hear as expected. Get the desired level via monitoring volume control when gaming recording. Smooth mic gain knob on the PC microphone gaming has some resistance to the point, easily for audio attenuation or boost presence to less post-production audio. (Only available for USB connection)
Loop a playlist of episodes
- Install VLC if it is not already installed. OBS requires VLC for the VLC Video source; for 64-bit OBS, OBS’s notes specify 64-bit VLC.
- In OBS, add a VLC Video source.
- Add the episode files to the source playlist in the order you want them to play.
- Enable Loop Playlist.
- Test both the transition between episodes and the point where the last episode returns to the first. Listen to the outgoing stream, not only local monitoring.
OBS documents playlist playback and the Loop Playlist control, but its documentation does not promise gapless or crossfaded transitions between separate files. If you still hear a pause, check the files’ endpoints and the OBS output in a test stream; looping alone does not guarantee a seamless boundary.
Keep the stream connected to YouTube
When setting up the encoder, use the YouTube Live server URL and stream key shown for your broadcast. YouTube says stream keys are like a stream’s “password and address,” so treat the key as secret: do not show it in screenshots or share it publicly. If you need to replace a key, use the current key shown in YouTube’s live-stream setup and update the encoder or service that sends the feed. See YouTube Help: manage your live stream settings.

A local OBS setup leaves playback and streaming on your computer. A cloud service can run the uploaded playlist without requiring your computer to stay on, though its feature and reliability claims should be assessed as claims from the provider unless independently tested. StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for looping uploaded videos and playlists.

Troubleshoot gaps before going live
- There is silence after one episode. Check that the single-file Media Source has Loop enabled, or that the playlist source has Loop Playlist enabled.
- The next episode does not start. Confirm the file is included in the VLC Video playlist and appears in the intended order. Make sure VLC is installed and matches the architecture of OBS; OBS specifies 64-bit VLC with 64-bit OBS.
- You can hear the episode, but viewers cannot. Check that the source is audible in the outgoing stream mix. Local monitoring is not proof that the broadcast contains the audio.
- A brief pause remains at a file boundary. Test the transition in the outgoing feed. OBS’s loop controls do not promise gapless transitions or crossfades, so do not assume that enabling looping removes every pause.
- The playlist plays once and stops. Verify Loop Playlist is enabled, then test the final-to-first transition.
- The stream does not connect to YouTube. Check that the encoder has the correct YouTube Live server URL and current stream key. Keep the key private.
Test the whole playback cycle
- Start a private or otherwise appropriate test broadcast using the same source and connection you plan to use.
- Listen to the end of one episode, the start of the next, and—if looping a playlist—the return from its last item to its first.
- Check that audio reaches the outgoing stream throughout, then correct any source, playlist, or connection issue before the public broadcast.
