Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteTo order catering for a business meeting through Uber Eats, choose a restaurant, start a group order, share its link with attendees, then review and submit the completed order. If you want the cost billed to your company, set up a business profile first. Restaurant availability, group-size capacity, scheduling, and fees vary by market, so confirm the options and total shown in your account before checkout.
Choose a group order or another meal format
A group order gives attendees a shared link where they can add their own selections. The organizer reviews the combined order and submits it. This can be simpler than collecting individual meal requests, especially when everyone needs delivery from the same restaurant. Uber also describes individual meals billed through linked business profiles as an office-lunch option.
Decide what kind of meal fits the meeting:
- Boxed meals: Each attendee gets a separately packed meal. Uber Help directs customers to the Boxed Catering category to find participating restaurants for large group orders, where available.
- Family-style: Shared dishes can suit a less formal team meal. Restaurant menus and availability vary by location.
Uber for Business describes app group orders for groups of up to 15 on its US office-lunch page. That figure describes the workflow on that page, not a universal limit on restaurant capacity. Uber Help defines large group orders as orders for 10 or more and says restaurant limits depend on the merchant.
Set up company billing if needed
A business profile is required to bill a business group order to your organization’s payment method. In Uber Eats, open Account and then Business Preferences to set up or select the business profile. Available labels and options may differ by market.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Enrollment in Uber for Business does not make meals free: the order still incurs its usual costs. If you do not need company billing, check the payment choices offered in the group-order flow.
Start the order and invite attendees
- In Uber Eats, choose a restaurant that can serve your meeting and select Group order.
- Confirm the delivery address and other requested delivery details.
- Choose the payment arrangement offered in the flow. The organizer may be able to pay centrally or let participants pay their own shares. Spend limits may also be available.
- Set a deadline for attendee selections if the flow offers one, then generate and share the group-order link.
- Tell attendees when selections are due and whether they should follow any meal or spending guidance for the meeting.
For a large group, look for the Boxed Catering category in the app and choose from participating restaurants. The category and participating merchants can vary by market, and a listing does not guarantee that a restaurant can fulfill your exact headcount or menu.

Schedule delivery and allow enough lead time
Use a scheduled order when you need delivery at a particular meeting time, if scheduling is available for the restaurant and address. Uber Help recommends placing large group orders at least 24 hours before the desired delivery time and recommends keeping them to 100 or fewer participants. These are localized help-page guidelines, not guarantees: a restaurant may set a lower limit, and capacity depends on its size, capabilities, stock, and the complexity of the dishes.
For smaller or less complex orders, the available delivery times in the app determine what you can select. Check the restaurant’s timing and the meeting’s arrival needs before sending the link; attendee deadlines should leave time for the organizer to review and submit the order.

Review, lock, and submit the order
- Before the attendee deadline, check the shared order for the expected meals, quantities, and any available instructions.
- When selections are complete, lock the order if that option appears. Locking prevents guests from adding or editing items.
- Review the restaurant, delivery address and time, payment method, fees, and final total in checkout.
- Submit the order and keep its confirmation details available for meeting-day coordination.
Do not assume you can freely change a scheduled order after checkout. Uber’s scheduled group-order FAQ says a request to update a company-paid order may be made up to 75 minutes before the estimated delivery time, but the merchant does not have to accept it. That FAQ says participant-paid orders cannot be updated.
Check capacity, fees, and the final delivery details
Restaurant capacity is not determined by a single platform-wide headcount. Uber says it varies with the restaurant’s size, capabilities, and available stock; participating restaurants may also impose their own limits. Verify that the menu and delivery time shown in your account can accommodate the meeting.
