To manage RSVPs in Apple Invites, open an event on your iPhone or at icloud.com/invites and go to its guest-management screen. There you can track responses, edit a guest’s reply, resend an individual invitation, remove a guest, and adjust who can join. Apple labels that screen Manage Guests in some places and Invite Guests in others.
Open the event’s guest list
- On iPhone: Open the event in Apple Invites and select Manage Guests. Some Apple instructions call the guest-list entry point Invite Guests.
- On the web: Sign in at icloud.com/invites, select the event, then choose Manage Guests.
Track who has responded
The guest list separates invitees into four statuses: Going, Not Going, Maybe, and Not Responded. Use these categories to see who has answered and identify guests who may need a follow-up.
Change a guest’s reply or guest count
Open the action menu beside the guest’s name. On iPhone, choose Edit Reply to change their RSVP or additional guest count. On iCloud.com, select the response or adjust the additional guest count. Apple says the guest is notified when you change their reply.
Resend an invitation, let guests invite others, or remove a guest
- Resend an individual invitation: Open the guest’s invitation information, copy the invitation link, and share it again. Apple describes individual invitation links as unique and usable once.
- Let a guest invite others: Enable Allow to invite others for that guest.
- Remove a guest: Choose Remove from Event. Apple says the guest receives a notification that they were removed.
Choose how people can join
Apple Invites offers different access choices. A public link can be shared with anyone who receives it; the host can configure people using that link to join automatically or to request approval. Individual invitations are sent one at a time, and individually invited guests can automatically join.

Approve or deny public-link requests
- Open the event’s Event Settings.
- Turn on Approve Guests to require approval for people requesting to join through the public link.
- For each request, choose Approve to add the person to the guest list or Deny to reject it. Apple says a denied person is blocked from requesting again.
- Choose Unblock if you need to reverse that block.
These approval controls are for public-link invitations, not individually invited guests. People using a public link for an event that requires approval wait for the host’s decision.
Set additional guest limits or pause replies
In Event Settings, use Additional Guests to set the event-wide allowance for extra guests, Approve Guests to control public-link requests, or Pause Replies to prevent additional people from responding.

What guests can do
Guests can RSVP Going, Not Going, or Maybe in the app or on iCloud.com. They can edit the name and image or initials shown on the guest list, and may add a message visible to the host and other guests. Guests can also leave an event to remove themselves from the list.
Apple says, “It’s free to receive and view events, and guests can RSVP even without an Apple Account.”
