To replay the same Tamil sleep meditation overnight, turn on YouTube’s Loop video control. To repeat a sequence, loop a playlist. Autoplay is different: it chooses a related video and may pause for a “Continue watching?” confirmation, so it is less reliable for unattended playback.
Choose the right playback control

Repeat one Tamil meditation video
- Open the meditation video in YouTube and start playback.
- Open Settings, then Additional settings, and select Loop video. The video should start again after it reaches the end.
On a TV or game console, use the player’s Repeat option while the video is playing. The exact menu placement can differ by device. YouTube’s instructions for looping videos and playlists are in its looping help page.
Repeat a playlist instead
- Start the playlist containing the Tamil meditations you want to hear.
- Turn on the playlist’s Loop control so the sequence starts again when it reaches the end.
- If you want only the current playlist video to repeat, use the playlist’s repeat selection for that video rather than looping the full sequence.
Why Autoplay may not last all night unattended
Autoplay does not repeat one selected meditation or a chosen playlist by itself. YouTube describes it as playing another related video automatically after the current video ends; the setting is device-specific. See YouTube’s Autoplay help.

Its help page lists intervals of 30 minutes on mobile, 60 minutes on web, and 180 minutes on TV. These are times when a prompt may appear, not a promise playback will stop at an exact interval. Keep playback going with the screen off
If you are listening on a phone and want to turn off the screen or use another app, looping with the YouTube app open is not the same as background play. YouTube’s Android guidance says background play requires YouTube Premium, and some videos are ineligible. Check YouTube’s background-play troubleshooting page if audio stops when you leave the app.
Leave Sleep Timer off for continuous playback
Sleep Timer is intended to pause a video after a selected duration, not keep it playing overnight. YouTube describes it as a way to have videos automatically pause after a chosen time. Leave it off if you want playback to continue; use it if you would rather set a planned stopping point. See the computer and Android timer instructions.
