If you want a yoga video to repeat while you watch it, use YouTube’s Loop control. If you want to broadcast prerecorded yoga continuously as a YouTube Live stream, create a Live stream in YouTube Studio and send the looping video through an encoder on a computer. The first option repeats playback for you; only the second creates a public Live broadcast.
Choose between looping playback and broadcasting Live
| What you want | How it works | What you need |
|---|---|---|
| Repeat a yoga video for personal viewing | Use YouTube’s player Loop control. The video or playlist repeats for the viewer; it is not a Live broadcast. | YouTube playback. |
| Broadcast a prerecorded yoga video as Live | Send the video from an encoder to a stream created in YouTube Studio / Live Control Room. | An eligible channel, a computer running encoder software (or a standalone hardware encoder), and rights to broadcast the footage and audio. |
How to loop a yoga video as a YouTube Live stream
1. Check that your channel can go live
YouTube’s general guidance requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. YouTube also states a minimum age of 16 for livestreaming. If this is your first time enabling live streaming, activation can take up to 24 hours. Check the current requirements in YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility help before scheduling.
2. Prepare the video and confirm broadcast rights
Use yoga footage and music you own or have permission to broadcast and archive. Giving credit to a creator does not replace permission. YouTube says it scans all live streams for matches to third-party content; if it identifies a match, it may replace the stream with a placeholder, and continued use can interrupt or terminate the broadcast. Even with a license, you may need the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Read YouTube’s copyright guidance for live streams and its Terms of Service.
3. Create or schedule the stream in YouTube Studio
- In YouTube Studio, select Create > Go Live.
- Create a stream, or open the Manage tab to schedule one. Scheduling can provide a shareable watch page and an option for viewers to set a reminder.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown in the Live Control Room. Keep the key private; anyone with access to it may be able to send a feed to your stream.
For the platform’s encoder workflow, see YouTube’s guide to creating a live stream with an encoder.

- Compact but Powerful Design: ZowieBox is smaller than a phone, featuring a tally light and LCD screen for streaming status. Capture console gameplay in up to 4K with zero-lag HDMI passthrough, while the built-in video encoder converts video for IP streaming. The IP stream can also be decoded back to a 4K HDMI signal.
- Standalone Game Streaming: Just plug and play—ZowieBox enables PC-free live gaming without affecting gameplay. As an RTMP hardware encoder and HDMI streamer, it delivers stable streaming directly from your source, making it ideal for gaming, live events, and professional broadcasting.
- NDI|HX3 Converter Technology: ZowieBox converts HDMI signals to NDI|HX3/HX2/HX, functioning as an NDI video encoder, or NDI Video Decoder for flexible IP workflows. Certified NDI technology enables low-latency gameplay streaming through OBS/vMix. Note: Encoder and decoder modes cannot run simultaneously; full NDI signals are not supported.
- UVC to HDMI Conversion: Supporting up to 4K@30fps and 1080p@60fps decoding, ZowieBox enables flexible conversion for webcam and video workflows. As a video decoder and HDMI to IP converter, it expands connectivity options for professional video devices. Note: USB capture card functionality is not currently supported.
- All-around Configuration Options: Control ZowieBox through its web UI on a PC, phone, or tablet. Manage connected PTZ cameras, tally light, video/audio, OSD, work mode, streams, network, and system settings. Support for VISCA over IP encoder workflows enables flexible PTZ control, while the dashboard provides video preview and system status.
4. Set up the encoder and make the video repeat
- On a computer, open an encoder and enter the YouTube stream URL and stream key in its streaming settings. YouTube supports software encoders and standalone hardware encoders; it does not prescribe one laptop or encoder model for this workflow.
- Select the prerecorded yoga video as the encoder’s video source, then enable repeat or looping for that media source.
- Check that the video and any audio play as intended in the encoder preview. The exact repeat control depends on the encoder and its version; YouTube’s setup guide does not document the media-loop menus for every third-party encoder. This is an encoder setting, not YouTube’s player Loop control.
5. Start the broadcast and monitor it
- Start streaming from the encoder and wait for the preview to appear in Live Control Room.
- For a scheduled stream, review the preview and select Go live when ready.
- Monitor the broadcast while it runs. When finished, end the stream in YouTube and stop the encoder.
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. If you want viewers to pause or rewind during the Live broadcast, review the DVR setting in the Live Control Room; YouTube says enabling DVR lets viewers pause, rewind, and continue watching during the stream. Details are in YouTube’s live-stream settings help.
What is different for creators in India?
The YouTube setup described here is its general encoder workflow; the official guidance cited above does not establish a separate India-specific procedure or eligibility rule. Do not assume every account in India is automatically eligible. Check your channel’s live access in YouTube Studio, and consider applicable local laws and rights obligations: YouTube’s terms place responsibility for required rights and compliance on the content provider.

Software encoder or hardware encoder?
| Option | Best suited to | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Software encoder on a computer | A prerecorded video loop and productions that need encoder software. | The computer and encoder must remain running for the broadcast to continue. |
| Standalone hardware encoder | A setup built around dedicated encoding hardware. | It is a separate hardware workflow; YouTube says expensive equipment is not required for encoder streaming. |
A computer capable of running the playback and encoder software is the general equipment category needed for the software route. You do not need to add a webcam, lights, microphone, or capture card unless your planned production actually uses those sources.
Troubleshooting a prerecorded Live loop
- No stream preview appears: Confirm that the encoder has the correct stream URL and current stream key, and that it is actively sending video. Check the Live Control Room again after correcting the encoder settings.
- The video plays once and stops: The repeat option belongs to the encoder’s media source. Check that source’s loop/repeat setting; the YouTube player’s Loop control will not make a Live broadcast repeat.
- The stream is visible but not yet public: If you scheduled it, start the encoder, wait for the preview, then select Go live in Live Control Room.
- The stream is interrupted or replaced: Review YouTube’s copyright notice and the rights for every video and audio element. If you have a license, ask the rights owner whether your channel must be added to its Content ID allowlist.
- Viewers cannot pause or rewind: Check whether DVR is enabled in the stream settings; YouTube says DVR enables those controls during the broadcast.
- The archive is missing: YouTube’s stated automatic-archiving rule applies to streams under 12 hours. The cited guidance does not promise automatic archiving for streams lasting 12 hours or longer.
Or let it run in the cloud
If the goal is to keep a prerecorded yoga stream running without leaving a home computer on, StreamNeo runs an uploaded video or playlist from the cloud to YouTube. Upload the video, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it streams the upload at its original quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream.
