To loop Hindi guided sleep audio with rain sounds on YouTube Live, prepare a finished audiovisual file or playlist, load it into an encoder that supports repeating media, and send that feed to YouTube using the stream URL and key from YouTube Studio. YouTube handles the live broadcast; the repeat control belongs to your chosen encoder, so test the loop and audio before going live.
What you need before starting
- A Hindi guided-sleep recording and rain ambience that you have the right to use together in a live broadcast and any replay.
- A prepared audio or video source, ideally with narration and ambience retained as separate tracks in your project so you can adjust their balance or replace a sound if needed.
- An encoder whose current documentation confirms it can repeat a file or playlist and run for your intended duration.
- A YouTube channel eligible to stream live. YouTube’s getting-started guidance says the channel must be verified, have had no live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days, and the streamer must be at least 16; check your account in YouTube Studio for current access.
A microphone is not required if the narration is already recorded. If you are recording your own voice, choose one only if it suits your recording setup.
Prepare the narration and rain loop
Build a source you can review
- Put the Hindi narration and rain recording into an audio or video project you control. Keep them on separate tracks while editing.
- Set the rain level so it supports the voice rather than obscuring words. Listen on headphones and speakers, including during quieter narration.
- Choose a loop point that does not cut off a word, breath, or audible change in the ambience. If the narration is a continuous guided session, a restart may be noticeable; consider preparing a longer program or a playlist with a deliberate transition.
- Export or otherwise prepare the source in the format your chosen encoder accepts. YouTube’s cited setup guidance does not prescribe a particular export format for this workflow, so follow the encoder’s current requirements.
- Listen to the full source and across its end-to-start transition. Check for clipped audio, silence, abrupt rain changes, or narration restarting mid-phrase.
Choose ambience with the right permissions
YouTube recommends its Audio Library for music and sound effects. Check the individual asset’s terms, including any attribution requirement, and make sure the permitted use covers a live stream and its replay. Creator Music may be available for monetized videos in certain regions; availability and track terms vary. Original recordings can give you control over the recording, but rights may still apply to performers, compositions, samples, or other included material.
For a paid or royalty-free third-party library, read the actual license for live transmission, monetization, territories, and archived replays. A “free” label or an attribution line alone does not establish that a track is safe to broadcast.

Set up YouTube Live and connect your encoder
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live. Create a stream, or schedule one from Manage.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown for the stream. Treat the key as private: anyone with access to it may be able to send a feed to your stream. Use YouTube’s stream-key guidance if you need to manage or reuse settings.
- Open your encoder and enter the YouTube stream URL and key in its streaming destination settings. The exact control names depend on the encoder; use that product’s current documentation.
- Load the prepared media and enable repeat or playlist looping using the encoder’s documented procedure. Do not assume YouTube itself will repeat the media.
- Start the encoder and wait for the preview in YouTube Live Control Room. Check that the video appears and that both the Hindi narration and rain are audible at an appropriate level.
- When the preview is ready, select Go live in Live Control Room. Monitor the stream’s audio and video quality while it is running.
YouTube’s encoder setup explains how to send the feed, wait for its preview, and start the broadcast; it does not establish a particular loop setting for OBS, a hardware encoder, or another product. Verify repeat behavior in the documentation for the encoder you actually use.
Check rights for the live stream and replay
YouTube requires content providers to have the necessary rights for live content and archived content, including music licensing rights. A license to use a recording does not necessarily prevent a live interruption: YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches and may replace the stream with a placeholder, interrupt it, or terminate it. If licensed material is enrolled in Content ID, ask the rights holder to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist before the stream; otherwise a match may still interrupt a stream even when you have permission.

Decide whether you want to retain the replay, and confirm your rights cover it too. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. If your stream is longer, do not assume an archive will be available.
Test the loop and diagnose common problems
- The file stops instead of repeating: the encoder may not be set to loop, or its repeat option may apply only to playlists. Check that encoder’s instructions and run a test before scheduling the broadcast.
- The narration restarts awkwardly: move the loop point, edit a transition, or use a longer source or playlist. Listen across the exact end-to-start boundary, not just to the beginning and end separately.
- Rain masks the voice or the audio clips: lower the ambience level or adjust the mix in your source project, then listen to the new export before sending it to YouTube.
- The Live Control Room preview does not appear: confirm the encoder is running and that the stream URL and key match the stream you created or scheduled. Recheck them in YouTube Studio if the feed is being sent to the wrong stream.
- The stream is interrupted after starting: check YouTube’s live copyright notices and the rights status of every sound in the program. For Content ID-registered licensed material, request channel allowlisting from the rights holder.
- You cannot start a live stream: review your channel’s live-stream eligibility and any restrictions shown in YouTube Studio.
