You can set a YouTube playlist to repeat, but that will not keep a real-time lofi broadcast alive after its broadcaster ends it. To listen without manually restarting playback, turn on playlist repeat for a playlist of videos—or, if the live broadcast has ended, look for a replay the channel may have posted and loop that instead.
Playlist repeat does not extend a live broadcast
YouTube playlist repeat applies to videos in a playlist. A live stream is a real-time broadcast, so turning on repeat does not stop the broadcaster from ending it or make the broadcast start again. After a stream ends, the channel may post a replay or highlights as videos; whether a replay is available depends on the channel. YouTube explains live streams and replays.
If the lofi stream is still live, you can listen until the broadcaster ends it. If it has ended, check the channel for a replay, add that or other lofi videos to a playlist, and repeat the playlist.
Turn on repeat for a playlist
On a computer
- Open a video that belongs to the playlist.
- Expand the playlist beside the player.
- Click Loop in the playlist box. YouTube says the playlist will repeat continuously.
- Check that repeat is set for the playlist, not just the current video.
On Android, iPhone, or iPad
- Start playing the playlist.
- Tap the Loop icon in the playlist control box under the video.
- If the icon displays “1,” repeat is set for the current video. Tap the icon again to cycle the setting to repeat the full playlist.
On a TV or game console
- Select the playlist and start playback.
- Open the playback controls.
- Select Repeat until the control reads Repeat • Playlist.

Use a replay if the lofi broadcast has ended
- Open the channel that hosted the live stream.
- Look for the stream under its videos or other channel content. The channel may have posted a replay or highlights, but YouTube does not guarantee that one will be available.
- If you find a replay, add it to a saved playlist. Add other lofi videos if you want more listening variety.
- Play the playlist and enable playlist repeat using the instructions for your device above.
Why a queue is not a reliable substitute
A saved playlist is more dependable than a temporary queue if you want to return to your lofi videos later. On a computer, YouTube says a queue does not remain saved after you close the browser; save videos to Watch Later or another playlist instead. See YouTube’s computer queue instructions. Mobile queueing is a separate feature: YouTube’s Android queue help says it requires Premium, but that is not a requirement for playlist repeat. See YouTube’s Android queue instructions.
