For steadier aim and more comfortable controls in FUR Squadron Phoenix, make small, repeatable changes and judge them in the same encounter. Controller support and an Auto-Shoot option are documented, but the available official information does not establish that the current game build has sensitivity, deadzone, inversion, calibration, or remapping controls—or identify ideal values for any of them.
What control options are confirmed?
FUR Squadron Phoenix is an on-rails space shooter developed and published by Raptor Claw. Steam lists its release date as February 18, 2026, describes a roguelite campaign with unlockable abilities and stat upgrades, and includes Controller among the game’s tags. The developer has also noted Xbox and PlayStation controller inputs and work to meet Steam Full Controller Support requirements. Steam’s listing and the developer’s update notes provide that broad confirmation, not a complete setup guide.
Auto-Shoot
Raptor Claw’s March 13, 2026 update note for the demo documents Auto-Shoot on the east face button: hold B on an Xbox controller or Circle on a PlayStation controller to fire bursts of three shots. The note says, “Holding it fires 3-shots bursts.” It documents the input and firing behavior; it does not say that Auto-Shoot improves aim. Read the developer’s update note.
Settings to verify in your build
The official material cited here does not confirm whether the released game currently offers aim sensitivity, deadzone, inversion, calibration, or button-remapping settings. Check the current in-game options rather than relying on a menu path or setting recommendation from another title. Later game updates may also have changed the available controls.

How to adjust aim methodically
The following is general practice, not a verified game-specific setup procedure. It helps distinguish a useful adjustment from one that only feels different at first.
- Choose a repeatable test. Pick a short section or encounter you can replay. Note what feels difficult—such as tracking targets, turning quickly, or keeping the reticle steady—and which input device you are using.
- Check for a relevant option. If the current build exposes a setting related to the problem, change only that setting. Start with a small adjustment; do not assume a particular value is best.
- Replay the same section. Compare whether aiming or handling feels more predictable, not just faster. Keep the change only if it works better for you; otherwise, restore it and try a different adjustment.
- Repeat one change at a time. Changing several controls together makes it harder to tell which one helped or hurt. Comfort and consistency are personal, so there is no universal sensitivity recommendation established for this game.
What to do if the aim drifts or controls feel uncomfortable
Input moves when you are not touching the controller
As general controller troubleshooting, first check the controller and its connection. If the current game build provides a deadzone control, adjust it cautiously and test again in the same section. The availability of an in-game deadzone option for FUR Squadron Phoenix is not confirmed by the official material cited above.

Repeated firing presses are uncomfortable
Try the documented Auto-Shoot input—hold B on Xbox or Circle on PlayStation for three-shot bursts—and see whether that firing pattern suits the situation. It changes how you trigger shots; the developer note does not claim it changes aiming accuracy.
You are considering a different controller
A compatible game controller is relevant if you need a gamepad, but the available evidence does not show that replacing a working controller improves accuracy. Treat the input device as a comfort and consistency choice, and verify compatibility for your platform before buying.

How to judge a change
Use practical trade-offs rather than a supposed ideal value: precision versus turning speed, unintended drift versus responsiveness, and comfort versus the number of repeated inputs. These are criteria for your own comparison, not measured findings about the game. A setting is useful when it makes your control more predictable without making another part of play less manageable.
