To unlock the Kingdom of Grandshelt’s Earth Esper in Final Fantasy Resonance, win battle 5 of the Fledgling League at the Grandshelt Colosseum, claim Lid’s Gaia Hammer, equip it on Lid, and use him to smash the Sealing Stone in the Grandshelt desert. Enter the Esper’s Dwelling behind it and defeat Titan. The chapter number is only an approximate guide; the reliable requirement is that Fledgling League battle 5 is available.
What do I need to break the Sealing Stone?
You need two things: Lid must have the Gaia Hammer equipped, and you must have started the optional Titan rumor quest. The rumor is obtained by speaking with the young man in Grandport Harbor. After that conversation, the Sealing Stone objective is active, but the boulder cannot be destroyed until Lid has the correct weapon.
- Speak with the young man in Grandport Harbor.
- Unlock access to Fledgling League battle 5 at the Grandshelt Colosseum.
- Win battle 5 and collect the first-clear reward, Lid’s Gaia Hammer.
- Equip the hammer on Lid before returning to the desert.
Walkthroughs place this sequence around Chapter 4 or Chapter 5, but those labels vary. Treat Colosseum battle availability—not the chapter number—as the practical progression gate.
How do I get the Gaia Hammer?
- Fast-travel to Grandshelt. Enter the Royal Capital and go to the main square.
- Enter the Colosseum. Choose the Fledgling League and progress through its battles.
- Clear battle 5. The first-clear reward is Lid’s Gaia Hammer.
- Equip it immediately. The walkthrough lists the weapon at 95 Physical Attack and 93 Magic Power. Open Lid’s equipment screen and select the Gaia Hammer in his weapon slot.
If battle 5 is not listed, continue the main story until the Colosseum stage becomes available. The weapon is not purchased from a shop and does not come from a random drop; it is tied to that first clear.

Where is the Sealing Stone in Final Fantasy Resonance?
The stone is in the Kingdom of Grandshelt desert, at the entrance to the Esper’s Dwelling. One guide describes it as east of Siren’s Tower, while another gives a route involving the northeast side of Marauder’s Cave. Because those landmark descriptions do not line up exactly, use the shared destination: the desert boulder guarding the Esper’s Dwelling. If you cannot interact with it, confirm that Lid has the Gaia Hammer equipped rather than merely carrying it.
Breaking the boulder
- Travel to the Kingdom of Grandshelt desert.
- Find the Sealing Stone at the entrance to the Esper’s Dwelling.
- Place Lid in your active party with the Gaia Hammer equipped.
- Interact with the boulder and let Lid smash it.
- Walk through the opened passage into the Esper’s Dwelling.
How do I defeat Titan?
Titan is a level 30 optional boss with 65,000 HP and a 1,500-point stagger gauge. He is weak to Wind and immune to Earth, so build your damage around Wind attacks and do not rely on Earth-element abilities.

| HP | 65,000 |
| Stagger gauge | 1,500 |

| Immunity | Earth |
Practical battle plan
- Bring at least one dependable Wind attacker and save its strongest abilities for stagger windows.
- Avoid Earth-element attacks; Titan’s immunity makes them ineffective.
- Keep healing available for the longer exchanges created by his large HP pool.
- Use Fina’s Siren summon when you need extra pressure or support. Siren remains for three turns and costs 50 MP.
You do not need to defeat Titan on the first attempt to keep the quest available. If the fight goes badly, adjust the party toward Wind damage, restore MP, and retry after upgrading equipment or Visions with available Magicite.
What do you get for defeating Titan?
Victory unlocks Titan as an Esper in Fina’s Summon Esper command and awards Magicite for upgrading Visions. Summoning Titan costs 50 MP. He remains active for three turns, then casts Gaia’s Wrath, an Earth-magic attack that hits all enemies. Only one Esper can be active at a time, so selecting Titan replaces any currently active Esper.

Why can’t I open the Esper’s Dwelling?
- The boulder has no interaction prompt: equip the Gaia Hammer specifically on Lid and make sure Lid is in the party.
- Battle 5 is unavailable: advance the story until the Fledgling League stage unlocks; chapter labels are not a dependable trigger.
- You cannot find the stone: search the Grandshelt desert entrance to the Esper’s Dwelling, using Siren’s Tower and Marauder’s Cave only as directional references rather than fixed coordinates.
- Titan feels resistant: switch from Earth skills to Wind and work against the 1,500-point stagger gauge.
How does Titan fit into the Esper roster?
Titan is the Earth Esper associated with the Kingdom of Grandshelt and is obtained through this optional rumor quest rather than the main story. The game’s Esper roster contains nine Espers, making Titan one of the side-content summons that can be missed if you never investigate the Grandport Harbor rumor.

Can I get Titan before finishing the main story?
Yes. Titan is optional, and the gate is access to Fledgling League battle 5 rather than completion of the campaign. Start the rumor in Grandport Harbor as soon as that Colosseum battle becomes available.

Does the Gaia Hammer need to stay equipped during the Titan battle?
It only needs to be equipped when Lid breaks the Sealing Stone. After the entrance opens, you can change Lid’s weapon before entering the fight if another setup better suits your party.
What should I do if Titan’s stagger gauge will not move?
Check that your attacks are Wind-based and that you are not using Earth abilities. Titan’s Earth immunity can make an incorrectly built party appear to deal no meaningful progress.

How long does the Titan summon last?
Titan remains on the field for three turns after the 50-MP summon. At the end of that duration, Gaia’s Wrath deals Earth magic damage to every enemy.
