You do not unlock a Radial Press blueprint in ARC Raiders. Radial Press is an Epic topside material that you obtain by scavenging. Its item documentation currently shows no recipe, project, or quest to unlock, so searching the Workshop or a blueprint menu for a Radial Press entry will not work. The most efficient documented route is to deploy on Pendola Pass, search the Railyard and Almatera Station trains, check the station’s second-floor shelves, and then move to Storm Huts if they appear after the 25-minute mark. Extract the item to make it available in your stash.
Radial Press is a material, not a blueprint
The wording of this objective causes the confusion. A blueprint in ARC Raiders is an item that unlocks a crafting recipe after you successfully extract it and use the Learn and Consume command in Speranza. Radial Press is documented differently: it is an Epic topside material with Mechanical and Industrial loot tags. Its item page currently lists no blueprint, recipe, project, or quest that unlocks it.
That distinction changes what you should do in a raid. There is no Radial Press unlock screen, no blueprint to learn, and no crafting step that creates the material. You must find the physical item in loot, carry it out, and keep it in your stash. AllThingsHow Staff describes it as an Epic material that gates progression past Gunsmith tier III, but it is still acquired through scavenging rather than blueprint progression.

Pendola Pass is the efficient farming location because its rail network concentrates Mechanical and Industrial loot. The route below starts with locations you can search immediately and then uses the later Storm Huts spawn window if you have enough time and are willing to accept more exposure.
#1 Best Overall
- ARC Raiders Deluxe Edition includes the base game and the following content: The Wanderer Set, including the following cosmetic items: “Valente” Outfit" “Pathfinder” Backpack,“Blanket Roll” Backpack Attachment.
- Plus: Character Cosmetic, Finger Gun Rapid Fire Emote, Cowboy Scrappy Body Type and Skin, 2 400 Raider Tokens.
1. Deploy to Pendola Pass
Select Pendola Pass before entering the raid. Your first objective is not a specific guaranteed container; it is a sweep of areas where the relevant loot categories are concentrated. Spawn locations are chances, not guarantees, and no official Radial Press drop rate is published in the available item documentation or route guides.
2. Search the Railyard train cars first
Begin with the Railyard and enterable passenger and freight cars. These cars can be checked from the start of the raid, so this is the fastest option when you cannot stay for a late event. Search more than the floor:
- Tables inside passenger cars
- Seats and the spaces around them
- Shelves and other horizontal surfaces
- Window ledges
- Freight-car surfaces you can enter and inspect
Move through each accessible car methodically. Looking only at floor loot can leave a material on a shelf or ledge undiscovered. The practical goal is a complete surface-by-surface sweep rather than repeatedly checking one container.

3. Check Almatera Station’s parked trains
After the Railyard, continue to Almatera Station and inspect its parked trains. The station provides a second train-focused check without requiring a separate map. Treat every enterable car as a possible spawn area and use the same tables, seats, shelves, and ledge scan.
Rank #2
4. Sweep the second-floor shelf room
Almatera Station has a second-floor shelf room that deserves its own stop. Arc Raiders Hub reports Radial Press on the metal shelves there in both yellow and red loot-zone runs. Search both color variants when they are present; neither is a guarantee, but the shelf room is a documented location worth checking before you leave the station.
5. Wait for Storm Huts after 25 minutes
If the raid is still active after the 25-minute mark, watch the map for Storm Huts markers. The current route guide reports that Storm Huts begin appearing after that point. Enter each hut that becomes available and sweep its shelves and floors. This is a later opportunity, not a replacement for the immediate train-car route.
Late Storm Huts can be more contested because other players are also watching for the event. The extra time may improve your number of checks, but it also increases the chance of meeting another squad and the amount of time your loot remains at risk.

When you find Radial Press, move it into the safe pocket whenever that is possible for your loadout. Then use a Pendola Pass return point to extract. Loot that remains on your character when you fail to extract does not reach the stash for Workshop use; the item has to survive the raid and arrive in storage.

Route choices at a glance
There is no published probability table for Radial Press, so the comparison below describes practical differences between the documented options rather than guaranteed success rates.
| Route | When you can use it | Loot focus | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Railyard train cars | Immediately after deployment | Enterable passenger and freight cars; tables, seats, shelves, and ledges | Fast first sweep, but a spawn is not guaranteed |
| Almatera Station trains | Immediately after reaching the station | Parked trains and their enterable surfaces | Adds another rail-network check without waiting for an event |
| Almatera second-floor shelf room | During the station sweep | Metal shelves in the yellow and red loot-zone versions | Documented chance location, not a guaranteed appearance |
| Storm Huts | After the 25-minute mark, when markers appear | Shelves and floors inside each hut | More checks later in the raid, but greater contest and extraction risk |
| Dam Battlegrounds industrial areas | Other-map option | Industrial loot with Mechanical and Industrial tags | Secondary option when Pendola Pass is unsuitable; no rate is stated |
| Spaceport maintenance or hangar areas | Other-map option | Maintenance and hangar loot | Another secondary option; no rate is stated |
Use the immediate train and shelf checks when your available raid time is short. Add Storm Huts when you can remain in the match past the event threshold and judge the contest risk acceptable. The guides identify Pendola Pass as the efficient farm, while the other maps are alternatives rather than documented upgrades in drop chance.
What Radial Press is used for
Radial Press matters because it is a progression material, not because it opens a recipe. Three Radial Press items are listed for the Gunsmith tier III-to-IV upgrade. That requirement explains why players often call it a “blueprint” informally: finding the material is part of reaching a desired Workshop upgrade, but no Radial Press blueprint is consumed.

Its current item data is:
| Property | Current listing |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Epic |
| Category | Topside material |
| Loot tags | Mechanical and Industrial |
| Stack size | 3 (ARC Raiders Wiki, 2026) |
| Weight | 0.5 (ARC Raiders Wiki, 2026) |
| Sell value | 3,000 Raider Coins (ARC Raiders Wiki, 2026) |
| Recycling return | 1 Advanced Mechanical Component per item |
| Salvaging return | 1 Mechanical Component per item |
The recycling and salvaging returns are alternatives to keeping the item for progression. If your immediate objective is the Gunsmith tier III-to-IV upgrade, do not recycle or salvage the pieces you need. Those actions convert the item into components and do not substitute for the three-item upgrade requirement.

Why the blueprint menu does not show Radial Press
Blueprints follow a separate workflow
Workshop documentation describes blueprints as unlock items for crafting recipes. A blueprint must be successfully extracted first. Afterward, go to Speranza, select the blueprint, and choose Learn and Consume. Only then does its recipe become available through the relevant crafting system.
Materials are stored and spent differently
Radial Press does not enter that workflow. You find it as loot, extract with it, and retain it as a material in your stash. If an upgrade screen asks for Radial Press, the requirement is referring to the scavenged item itself, not to a learned recipe. Searching Speranza for a “Radial Press” blueprint therefore produces no result because the item page classifies it outside the blueprint system.
A practical Pendola Pass farming plan
- Load into Pendola Pass. Plan a route that reaches the Railyard and then Almatera Station without detouring before the first sweep.
- Clear the Railyard cars. Enter every accessible passenger and freight car and inspect tables, seats, shelves, window ledges, and floors.
- Move to Almatera Station. Repeat the full surface check in the station’s parked trains.
- Go upstairs. Search the second-floor shelf room, checking the metal shelves in whichever yellow or red loot-zone version is active.
- Make a timing decision. If you need an immediate extraction, leave after the station sweep. If you can stay beyond 25 minutes, monitor the map for Storm Huts.
- Search marked Storm Huts. Enter each available hut and check shelves and floors, while accounting for the increased chance of other players contesting the area.
- Protect the material. Put Radial Press in the safe pocket when possible and avoid unnecessary fights once the item is secured.
- Extract through a Pendola Pass return point. Confirm that the raid ends successfully so the item reaches your stash and can count toward Workshop requirements.
This plan deliberately separates searching from extraction. A successful pickup that is lost before the return point does not help with the Gunsmith upgrade, and a failed search is still preferable to losing a secured item through an avoidable late-raid risk.
Troubleshooting when Radial Press does not appear
No item in the first train sweep
That result is normal. The documented locations are chances rather than fixed guarantees, and no official drop rate has been published. Finish the Almatera Station train and shelf-room checks before deciding whether to wait for Storm Huts.

The Storm Huts marker has not appeared
Storm Huts are reported to begin appearing after the 25-minute mark, so they are not an immediate deployment location. Continue using the map to watch for markers once that threshold has passed. Do not treat the absence of a marker earlier in the raid as evidence that the material cannot appear on Pendola Pass.
You found the item but cannot use it in the Workshop
Check whether the raid ended in a successful extraction. Only extracted loot reaches the stash for Workshop use. Also verify that you are looking at the Gunsmith upgrade requirement rather than a crafting recipe screen; Radial Press is a material and has no Learn and Consume action.
You are deciding whether to sell, recycle, or salvage it
Keep the item if you are collecting the three pieces listed for the Gunsmith tier III-to-IV upgrade. Selling gives 3,000 Raider Coins per item, recycling gives one Advanced Mechanical Component, and salvaging gives one Mechanical Component. Those conversions are useful only when they serve a more immediate need than the upgrade.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsA patch changes a location or requirement
Spawn points, upgrade costs, and map mechanics can change with updates. The values in the item table are the listings identified for 2026, and the Pendola Pass route reflects the current guides. Recheck the in-game requirement after a patch instead of assuming the three-item cost or a specific shelf location is permanent.
