To watch Peacock on a Samsung Smart TV, check that your model is supported, install the app from the TV’s Apps screen, then sign in or activate it using the code shown on your TV. Peacock lists Samsung Smart TVs from 2017 onward, but support can still depend on the exact model and region.
Check whether your Samsung TV supports Peacock
Peacock lists Samsung Smart TVs from 2017 or later as supported. That year threshold does not guarantee the app will be available on every model or in every region. Check your exact model with Samsung’s model-year lookup and see whether Peacock appears in your TV’s app store. Peacock’s device guidance also recommends confirming support before setup: supported devices and platforms.
Install Peacock from the Samsung TV app store
- Connect the TV to the internet. Use a stable connection before opening the app store.
- Open Apps or Search. From the Samsung TV Home screen, open the Apps interface and search for “Peacock.” Menu labels and locations vary by model, software version, and region.
- Select Peacock and choose Install. If the app is listed, let the installation finish, then open it. Samsung’s general app installation guidance explains the process and account requirement: installing apps on a Samsung Smart TV.
Samsung says app-store access requires internet access and a Samsung account; specific requirements and menus can vary by model, software, and region. If Peacock does not appear, see the troubleshooting steps below rather than assuming that an eligible model year guarantees availability.
Sign in or activate Peacock on the TV
Open Peacock after installation. Choose Sign In if you already have an account, or follow the plan-selection and signup path if you are new. Peacock’s smart-TV instructions describe this access flow: accessing Peacock on a device.

If the TV displays an activation code, use a phone, tablet, or computer to visit Peacock’s official activation page. Sign in to the Peacock account you want to use, then enter the code shown on the TV. Peacock says activation is generally needed for a new device or after signing out.
Troubleshoot Peacock on a Samsung TV
Peacock is missing from the Apps screen
- Confirm the TV’s exact model and model year, not just its purchase date.
- Check that the TV has internet access and that you can access Samsung’s app store with your Samsung account.
- Consider your region: app availability can vary. Samsung’s guidance for TVs sold in Canada notes that an app that cannot be found may not be compatible with that model: Samsung Smart TV app guidance.
The activation code does not work
- If the code has expired, return to the TV app and request a new one.
- Enter the new code carefully on Peacock’s activation page.
- Check that the TV is still connected to the internet and that you signed in to the intended Peacock account.
- Confirm that the TV is supported. A code error by itself does not prove the device is incompatible.
The app is unavailable on this TV
If Peacock is not available for your model, Samsung identifies a compatible external streaming player, game console, or TV box as possible alternatives. Peacock lists Fire TV among its supported platforms. Check compatibility for the specific device before relying on it; an external device is an option, not a guaranteed fix.
