Get Freddy’s Nightmare from Freddy Krueger

- Pick up the weapon and use it to teleport into range and slash an opponent. Epic’s description does not give button inputs, damage, cooldown, or range measurements, so those details are not established here.
Can Freddy’s Nightmare appear as loot?
Games.GG and Beebom guides also report that Freddy’s Nightmare may appear in chests or as floor loot: Games.GG guide · Beebom guide. Epic’s announcement confirms the boss reward, not those alternate spawns. Treat loot appearances as a possible random alternative, not a guaranteed method.
| Route | What is established | What to expect |

| Search chests or floor loot | Reported by Games.GG and Beebom, but not confirmed in the Epic announcement. | Possible random loot, with no established odds or guaranteed source. |
Where and when is it available?
Epic’s Communities post says Fortnitemares runs until November 1, 2026. Its October 1 announcement says the event spans Battle Royale, Horde Rush, and Reload, while the Communities post specifically calls out Freddy’s Nightmare in Blitz Royale. The sources do not establish identical availability in every mode or guarantee that the weapon will remain unchanged through the event’s scheduled end date.
Is Freddy’s Nightmare a shop item?
No shop purchase is established as a way to get the in-match weapon. Epic’s item-shop page lists separate Five Nights at Freddy’s cosmetics, including an unavailable “Nightmare Emoticon”; those cosmetics are distinct from Freddy’s Nightmare, which Epic describes as a reward for defeating Freddy.
