Hellraiser: Revival has two finale achievements, not a hidden third ending. After the Ritual of Rebirth, the last apartment scene presents a movement-based choice: stay until the wall breach closes to earn Human After All, or enter the breach before it seals to earn Experience Beyond Limits.
You can obtain both outcomes in one playthrough by using the final autosave, or by creating a manual save before the Ritual on difficulties where autosaves are disabled.
What the ending system actually contains
The finale is a two-way split triggered in the apartment after the Ritual of Rebirth. The game does not branch into a third route because of a collectible, an optional ritual, or an earlier dialogue or exploration decision. The two ending achievements are the complete set described by the available ending guides.
AllThingsHow’s ending guide identifies the outcomes as remaining in the apartment for Human After All and crossing the breach for Experience Beyond Limits. VGTimes’ guide likewise reports that no earlier action changes the finale and that there is no secret ending.

Where the final choice happens
Reach the Ritual of Rebirth
Play through the story until you complete the Ritual of Rebirth. The decisive scene follows that ritual; searching for a hidden trigger before it or revisiting earlier areas will not unlock another conclusion.
Watch the apartment scene
When control returns in the apartment, a breach opens in the wall. This opening is the only decision point that determines the achievement. The game communicates the alternatives through movement rather than a conventional menu prompt.
Choose before the breach seals
Walking into the opening before it closes sends Aidan to the Cenobites. Doing nothing and allowing the breach to close leaves him in the apartment as a human. Let the scene and achievement notification finish before quitting or reloading.

How to unlock Human After All
- Complete the Ritual of Rebirth and continue into the final apartment scene.
- When the wall breach appears, do not walk toward it.
- Keep Aidan in the apartment until the breach closes on its own.
- Allow the ending sequence and the Human After All achievement to complete.
This route does not require a particular inventory item, a hidden collectible, or a special response earlier in the campaign. The required action is simply staying put during the final movement choice.
How to unlock Experience Beyond Limits
- Finish the Ritual of Rebirth and wait for the apartment scene to begin.
- Move Aidan through the wall breach while it is still open.
- Cross before the opening seals; waiting too long selects the human outcome instead.
- Let the Cenobite transformation scene and the Experience Beyond Limits achievement finish.
Entering the breach is the complete requirement for this achievement. Earlier rituals, collectibles, and story decisions do not add another prerequisite.
How to earn both achievements in one playthrough
Using an autosave
On a difficulty that uses autosaves, finish one ending, return to the main menu, and load the latest autosave. The final save should return you to the apartment choice. Select the opposite movement and complete the second ending.

- Reach the apartment after the Ritual of Rebirth.
- Choose either staying or entering and wait for the ending and achievement to register.
- Return to the main menu rather than starting a new game.
- Load the latest autosave.
- Take the other action at the breach and let the second achievement complete.
The exact point to which the autosave returns can vary by difficulty or checkpoint timing. If it places you before the apartment scene, replay that short sequence and make the opposite choice.
Hard difficulty
Hard disables autosaves. Do not rely on finishing one ending and expecting an automatic return to the breach. Create a manual save at the final save point before starting the Ritual of Rebirth, then use that save to replay the finale for the other achievement.
Hellraiser difficulty
Manual saves on Hellraiser difficulty consume Save Tokens. Make the pre-Ritual save only when you have a token available, and reserve one for the second run through the apartment choice. Without that preparation, you may need to replay more of the campaign to reach the finale again.

A safe save plan
- Before the Ritual of Rebirth, confirm whether your selected difficulty provides an autosave.
- If autosaves are disabled, make a manual save at the last available save point.
- On Hellraiser difficulty, verify that spending the save does not leave you without the token needed for a second attempt.
- Choose the first ending and wait for its achievement.
- Reload the final autosave or the pre-Ritual manual save and choose the other movement.
Do earlier choices, collectibles, or rituals affect the finale?
No. The ending guides describe the apartment breach as the sole split and state that earlier actions do not create a third route. Collecting every item, repeating an optional ritual, or selecting a different earlier response cannot reveal an additional scene after the Ritual of Rebirth.
If you have already completed most of the game, there is therefore no reason to restart for a supposed secret-ending flag. Continue to the apartment and make the movement choice that matches the achievement you still need.

What each ending means for Aidan
Human After All
Waiting for the breach to close leaves Aidan human in the apartment. The achievement title describes that outcome; it is not presented as proof that every consequence of the story is resolved favorably.

Experience Beyond Limits
Crossing the breach transforms Aidan into a Cenobite and places him with the Cenobites. The achievement marks that transformation rather than a concealed post-credit route.
Neither ending reunites Aidan with Sunny
Both outcomes leave the story without a reunion between Aidan and Sunny. Calling one route “good” and the other “bad” is an interpretation used by guides, not an official canon label supplied by the game.
Common misunderstandings
“Secret ending” videos and guides
Some walkthrough titles use “secret ending” as a search phrase for the less obvious breach choice. In Hellraiser: Revival, that wording does not indicate an undiscovered third achievement or a hidden cinematic. The documented ending set is the two choices listed above.

Missing the breach window
If you intended to become a Cenobite but stayed in the apartment until the opening closed, the game has selected Human After All. Reload the final autosave or your pre-Ritual manual save and enter the breach earlier.
Reloading too late
If your latest save is created after the ending has already resolved, it may not return you to the decision. On Hard and Hellraiser, this is why saving before the Ritual of Rebirth matters: that checkpoint preserves access to the entire finale.
