That Android requirement does not guarantee the feature appears on every Galaxy phone. On a supported device, install Bitmoji, sign in, open Samsung Keyboard in a chat, and tap its sticker icon to choose a sticker. Bitmoji’s setup guide does not list every supported model.
Set up Bitmoji in Samsung Keyboard
- Install the Bitmoji app and sign in, or create an account.
- Open a chat app and tap its message field so Samsung Keyboard appears.
- Tap the keyboard’s sticker icon.
- Choose a Bitmoji sticker to insert it into the conversation.
These are Bitmoji’s documented steps for the Samsung Keyboard integration. A sticker may be handled differently depending on the messaging app.
Turn on Bitmoji sticker suggestions
Suggestions are separate from opening the sticker picker. After completing setup, type in a message and tap the blue suggestion bubble. Choose “Bitmoji” in the pop-up; suggestions can then appear as you type. The option may not be present in every software version.
If Bitmoji is missing from Samsung Keyboard
Check that Bitmoji is installed and you are signed in, then confirm that Samsung Keyboard is active and the device runs Android 10 or later. Bitmoji limits its Samsung Keyboard feature to select Samsung devices, and its support page does not provide a complete model list. Samsung also notes that keyboard features and menus can vary by device and software version; its general Galaxy emoji and sticker guidance is not a guarantee of Bitmoji integration on a particular model.

Use the separate Bitmoji Keyboard as a fallback
If the Samsung-specific option is unavailable, you can try Bitmoji’s separate Android keyboard. This is a distinct keyboard you enable and select; its availability does not mean Bitmoji is integrated into Samsung Keyboard on your device.
- In the Bitmoji app, tap the globe icon to open the Keyboard tab and follow the setup prompts.
- If setup is not offered there, open Android Settings and look for Languages and input > Virtual or On-screen keyboard > Manage keyboards, then enable Bitmoji Keyboard. Menu names vary across Android versions and manufacturers.
- Select Bitmoji Keyboard when entering text if you want to use it instead of Samsung Keyboard.
Bitmoji says Gboard may hide “Keyboard Setup” from the app’s Keyboard tab, in which case manual setup may be needed. See Bitmoji’s Android keyboard setup instructions. Check messaging app compatibility
For its Android Bitmoji Keyboard, Bitmoji lists Snapchat, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Discord, Telegram, Textra SMS, Google Messages, the latest version of Samsung Messages, Verizon Messages, Google Hangouts, and Instagram as apps that work well. This is Bitmoji’s compatibility guidance, not a guarantee for every app version or a promise that Samsung Keyboard inserts stickers identically in each app.
Some older or unsupported apps may ask you to select a recipient or conversation each time you send a sticker. Bitmoji recommends updating the destination app; if stickers still fail, contact that app’s developer. Details are in Bitmoji’s Android keyboard compatibility guidance.

Understand the Bitmoji Keyboard privacy notice
Bitmoji’s disclosure for its Android Bitmoji Keyboard says Android displays a standard warning when a new keyboard is enabled. It says smart sticker suggestions are powered entirely on-device and that Bitmoji does not track text typed with Bitmoji Keyboard. The same disclosure says Bitmoji collects some keyboard activity, including stickers shared and sticker categories browsed. These statements concern the separate Bitmoji Keyboard; they should not be treated as a complete account of every integration or all Bitmoji data practices. Read Bitmoji’s keyboard privacy information before enabling it if those details affect your decision.

- Open Bitmoji and tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Tap Connected Apps.
- Turn off Samsung Keyboard. If Keyboard Content Centre appears under Connected Apps, turn that off as well.
