You can capture a publicly reachable India-oriented website URL in Pabbly Connect by adding the HTML to Image integration’s Capture Website Screenshot action to a workflow and mapping the page URL into it. That captures a page associated with India; it does not, by itself, prove the screenshot renderer is connecting from an Indian IP address. If the site varies content by visitor location, verify the renderer’s egress region first.

What “India-based URL” means

There are two different requirements that are easy to conflate:

  • An India-oriented or India-hosted address: the renderer can capture it if the page is public and reachable from the renderer.
  • A page as seen from an Indian IP address: the renderer must use an India-based network route if the site changes its response according to visitor location.

The documented screenshot API supports proxy routing through an organization’s configured proxy, but the available documentation does not establish that an India exit location is offered or that Pabbly exposes proxy selection in its action. Verify both with the provider when Indian-IP rendering is necessary. HTML to Image API documentation

Set up a screenshot workflow in Pabbly Connect

  1. Create a workflow and choose its trigger. In Pabbly Connect, configure the event that should start the workflow. Pabbly describes workflows as a trigger followed by one or more action steps. Pabbly Connect integration listing
  2. Add the screenshot action. Add the HTML to Image integration and select Capture Website Screenshot, listed as the action for capturing a website or webpage from a URL. Pabbly Connect integration listing
  3. Map the target URL. Supply a fully qualified, publicly reachable address, such as https://example.in/page. A hosted renderer cannot reach your computer’s localhost; a private page also will not work unless the service has an authorized route to it. HTML to Image API documentation
  4. Choose the capture dimensions. Use the documented viewport width and height together when setting a custom viewport, or choose the separate mobile-emulation option if you need a mobile-style rendering. Check the live Pabbly action fields to confirm which controls it exposes. HTML to Image API documentation
  5. Choose viewport or full-page output. The default is the visible viewport. Enable full_screen for a full-page capture; the service describes this mode as scrolling through the page and stitching a complete screenshot. HTML to Image API documentation
  6. Allow time for late-rendering content. If JavaScript-driven content is missing, try the documented ms_delay setting. Adjust it for the page and inspect the resulting image rather than assuming one delay fits every site. HTML to Image API documentation
  7. Pass the result to the next step. Map the screenshot output into the following workflow action—for example, a step that stores or sends it—using the fields shown by the live Pabbly action. The integration listing confirms the screenshot action, but does not establish its current output field names or mapping format.

Choose the capture mode for the page

Need Setting to consider What to check
Capture only what is initially visible Default viewport capture Set a viewport suitable for the page and intended use.
Capture content below the fold full_screen Review the stitched result, especially on long or dynamically loaded pages.
Show a mobile layout Mobile emulation or a custom viewport Viewport width and height are used together for custom dimensions; confirm the live action offers the desired control.
Wait for JavaScript content ms_delay Use a page-specific delay and confirm the content appears in the output.
Reproduce location-specific content Verify proxy or renderer egress routing Confirm an India exit is available and can be selected in the Pabbly action; general proxy support does not prove either.

Authentication, reachability, and regional results

A URL capture is not an interactive browser session. The service documentation describes custom headers and configured proxy support for access requirements, but does not describe automatic interactive login. Do not assume that supplying a URL bypasses a sign-in wall, anti-bot check, or other access restriction. For protected pages, establish whether the service can reach them using an authorized header or proxy configuration. HTML to Image API documentation

For a site that personalizes by IP, language, pricing, consent state, or another geographic signal, a successful capture of an India-oriented domain is not proof of an India-local view. Ask the screenshot provider whether an India-located proxy exit is available, then confirm whether that routing option can be selected from Pabbly’s action. The available documentation supports proxy routing generally, not India-specific egress. HTML to Image API documentation

Troubleshoot missing or incorrect screenshots

  • No screenshot or an unreachable page: confirm the URL is fully qualified and publicly accessible to a hosted renderer; replace localhost or private-only addresses with a reachable page or an authorized route.
  • Only the top of the page appears: enable full_screen if you need a full-page image; the default capture is the visible viewport.
  • Content is blank or late: try a page-specific ms_delay, then inspect the output again. The documentation establishes the delay control, but does not specify a universal value.
  • The layout is not mobile: use mobile emulation or set both custom viewport dimensions; verify the Pabbly action exposes the setting you need.
  • The screenshot shows the wrong regional content: check the renderer’s network location and proxy route. A country-specific domain alone does not select an India-based IP.
  • A protected page fails: determine whether the page can be accessed using supported custom headers or configured proxy routing. Interactive login is not documented as automatic.
  • You cannot map the output into a later step: inspect the fields returned by the live Pabbly action and use those names; the integration listing does not publish a definitive output schema.

Or skip the browser setup

ScreenshotNeo offers a one-request screenshot API and an MCP server for AI agents. Its capture options include URL screenshots, full-page capture, viewport and mobile presets, and configurable waits. Cookie and consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets are removed before capture; bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are not billed. MCP tools let AI agents take screenshots, inspect page information, and capture PDFs. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month without a card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000.

For more options, see the ScreenshotNeo API documentation. Example cURL request:

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Pabbly Connect guarantee that a screenshot is rendered from an Indian IP address?

No such guarantee is established by the available documentation. Confirm India egress and Pabbly action support with the screenshot provider if the page depends on geographic IP.

Can the hosted screenshot renderer capture a localhost page?

No. The renderer must be able to reach the target URL; localhost on your own machine is not publicly reachable to it.
