Most Truck Manager problems have a symptom-specific fix. Update Truck Manager – 2026 first, then check expired licenses if Depart spins indefinitely, relaunch after an Android Back-button freeze, and clear the device cache for general lag or crashes. The game is the iPhone/iPad title from Xombat ApS discussed here; a different truck game on Steam needs a separate PC troubleshooting path.

Identify the game and platform before troubleshooting

This guide covers Truck Manager – 2026 by Xombat ApS. Apple lists it as a free iPhone and iPad strategy game with a 133.3 MB download and an iOS/iPadOS 15.0-or-later requirement. If your title has a different developer, storefront listing, or platform, the fixes below may not match its menus or saved-data behavior.

Start by recording three details: your device model, operating-system version, and the Truck Manager app version. Also note the exact trigger: opening the game, buying a vehicle, sending cargo, tapping Depart, clicking a route, extending Turbo, or pressing the device Back button. A trigger-based description is more useful to support than “the game is slow.”

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Use this troubleshooting order

  1. Update the game. Install the newest version offered by your device’s app store, then restart Truck Manager. The App Store history shows recurring bug-fix and performance releases. A 13 October 2026 patch specifically optimized vehicle updates, “depart all” handling, and route-click speed for large accounts; a 6 October 2026 hotfix corrected a blocked or blank message when extending Turbo in the store.
  2. Match the symptom to a known issue. Endless loading after Depart points first to an expired license. A freeze immediately after Android’s physical or gesture Back button points to the Android navigation issue. Lag while buying vehicles or sending cargo calls for cache clearing and, if necessary, support.
  3. Close and relaunch the app. This is particularly important after a failed departure, a store error, or an Android Back-button freeze. Do not repeatedly tap a spinning control while the app is unresponsive.
  4. Clear the device cache. The developer’s response to lag and crash reports recommends clearing the device cache and contacting support if the symptom remains. Use your platform’s normal cache control; do not erase game data unless you know the account is synchronized.
  5. Check compatibility. On Apple devices, the listing requires iOS/iPadOS 15.0 or later. No universal RAM, storage, FPS, or hardware threshold has been published in the cited support material.
  6. Escalate with reproducible details. Send the device model, OS version, app version, exact action, frequency, and any license, cargo, vehicle, or Turbo details through the official support center. The developer’s App Store response also directs continuing problems to support@trophy-games.com.

Tell a crash, freeze, loading loop, and lag apart

These labels describe what you observe, not necessarily the underlying cause. A crash closes Truck Manager or returns you to the home screen. A freeze leaves the game visible but ignores taps; the Android Back-button problem is documented in this form. A loading loop shows a spinner or progress state that never completes, such as the known license-related issue after Depart. Lag is delayed response while the game remains usable, for example slow route clicks or delayed vehicle updates.

  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

The distinction determines the safest next action. For a crash, relaunch and verify whether the transaction completed before trying again. For a freeze, force-close the app from Recent Apps rather than pressing more controls. For a loading loop after Depart, inspect licenses before treating it as a general performance problem. For route or “depart all” delay on a large account, install the 13 October patch before changing account data. Recording which behavior occurred, how long it lasted, and whether it repeats on the same screen gives support a reproducible case.

Fix a loading screen that spins forever after Depart

Truck Manager support identifies endless loading after pressing Depart as a known user-interface issue related to expired licenses. The fix is to inspect the licenses attached to your account and renew or repurchase any that have expired.

Renew the expired license

  1. Open the game’s Shop.
  2. Switch to the Add-ons tab.
  3. Review every listed license and look for one marked expired or requiring renewal.
  4. Renew or repurchase the expired license using the store’s displayed option.
  5. Return to the dispatch screen and try the departure again.

If the departure still spins, close and reopen Truck Manager once before trying again. Record the license name, the route or cargo involved, and whether the problem affects one truck or every departure. Support has described this as an issue under investigation, so menu wording and the eventual permanent fix may change in a later release.

Recover from an Android freeze after pressing Back

Truck Manager support says that pressing Android’s physical or gesture Back button can freeze the game screen. This is separate from a normal crash: the app may remain visible but stop responding to taps.

Force-close and relaunch

  1. Open Android’s Recent Apps view.
  2. Swipe Truck Manager away so it is fully closed.
  3. Wait a few seconds, then launch Truck Manager again.
  4. Navigate with the game’s own close, X, or back controls rather than Android’s system Back button.

Continue using the in-game controls while the issue remains under investigation. If the freeze returns, capture the screen or write down the exact page where Back was pressed, whether navigation used a gesture or hardware button, and your Android version. That distinction can help support reproduce the fault.

Reduce lag and crashes during normal play

Player reports describe slowdowns while generating money or buying vehicles and crashes during some cargo departures. The developer response recommends clearing the device cache and contacting the support team if the problem persists. Cache clearing is a troubleshooting step, not a guarantee: the same symptom can have different causes on different devices.

Android cache procedure

  1. Open Android Settings.
  2. Choose Apps (the label can be Applications on some devices).
  3. Select Truck Manager.
  4. Open Storage or Storage & cache.
  5. Tap Clear cache, not Clear storage or Clear data.
  6. Relaunch the game and repeat the action that previously lagged or crashed.

Android manufacturers use different menu names. If you cannot find the cache control, use Settings search for “Truck Manager” or “clear cache.” Clearing storage can remove local data and sign you out, so do not choose it as a substitute.

iPhone and iPad procedure

The developer’s public response says to clear the device cache but does not publish a single iOS menu path or a guaranteed cache size. Apple devices do not provide one universal, app-by-app “clear cache” button in every iOS version. First close Truck Manager, restart the device, and install any pending app or iOS update. If support instructs you to remove and reinstall the app, confirm that your game account is linked or synchronized before deleting it; otherwise local progress could be at risk.

When a crash happens during a purchase or departure

  • Update the app before repeating the transaction.
  • Note whether the crash occurs for one vehicle, one cargo type, or every purchase.
  • After a crash, reopen the game and verify whether the purchase or departure completed before tapping again. Repeating a transaction while the previous one is still processing can make diagnosis harder.
  • Clear the cache using the platform procedure, then test once more.
  • If the crash continues, send support the exact screen, button, account scale, and time of occurrence.

Install the patches that target slow routes and store errors

Date Documented change Symptoms it may address
13 October 2026 Optimized vehicle updates after buying nitro, “depart all” handling, and route clicks that took longer than expected for large accounts. Slow vehicle refreshes, delayed mass departures, or route interaction lag in a large fleet.
6 October 2026 Fixed a blocked or blank message when extending Turbo in the store. A Turbo-extension dialog that is empty, blocked, or cannot be completed.

These notes do not promise that every crash or slowdown will disappear. They do establish that updating is especially relevant when the symptom matches one of the listed changes. After updating, fully close and reopen the game before testing the affected action.

Troubleshoot by trigger

Trigger First action Next step if it continues
Depart spins forever Shop → Add-ons; inspect licenses and renew or repurchase an expired one. Relaunch, retry, and report the license and route details to support.
Android physical or gesture Back Swipe Truck Manager away from Recent Apps and reopen it. Use in-game X/back controls; document Android version and navigation mode.
Vehicle purchase or money generation Update the app and clear the device cache. Contact support with device, app version, and the purchase that triggered lag or crash.
Cargo departure Update, relaunch, and verify whether the departure completed before retrying. Clear cache and provide cargo, route, and crash timing to support.
Route click on a large account Install the 13 October 2026 patch or newer. Test after a clean relaunch and report persistent delay with account scale.
Turbo extension in the store Install the 6 October 2026 hotfix or any later version. Capture the blank or blocked message and contact support.

Check updates, operating system, and available space

Update the game first

Open the app store, search for Truck Manager, and install the newest available release. The relevant fixes are version-dependent, so testing an older build after clearing cache can leave the original bug in place. If the store shows an update waiting, finish it before changing other settings.

Confirm the Apple requirement

Apple lists iOS/iPadOS 15.0 or later as the requirement for the 133.3 MB listing. Devices below that version are outside the stated compatibility range. The cited material does not define a universal RAM or model cutoff, so avoid treating a particular iPhone or iPad generation as guaranteed support unless the developer confirms it.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Leave room for an update

The listed download size is 133.3 MB, but an installed update can require additional temporary space. If an update fails, check that the device has free storage and retry from the app store. Do not infer from the download number that every device will use exactly that amount after installation.

Reinstall only after confirming account protection

Reinstalling is not the first-line fix documented for these symptoms. It can remove local files, sign you out, or make unsynchronized progress difficult to recover. Before deleting Truck Manager, confirm that the game account is linked or otherwise synchronized and that you know the correct sign-in method. Try the documented update, force-close, license check, or cache step first. If support specifically recommends reinstalling, follow its instructions and record your account details before removal.

After reinstalling, install the newest store version, sign in, and test one previously affected action. Do not immediately repeat a purchase or press “depart all” several times; first verify that your fleet, licenses, and currency appear correctly. If data is missing, stop testing and contact support with the device, account, and app-version information.

What to do when the problem returns after an update

A new version can change a symptom without fixing its underlying account or license state. Use a controlled retest:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Write down the current app version and OS version.
  2. Restart the device and open Truck Manager once.
  3. Perform one action that previously failed, such as one departure or one route click.
  4. Wait for the result instead of tapping repeatedly.
  5. Record whether the failure is reproducible, intermittent, or gone.

If only a large account or “depart all” action is slow, include your fleet size in the support request. If only one license or route fails, include its name. Separating account-wide behavior from one object makes the report actionable.

Escalate a crash or freeze to support

Use the official Truck Manager support center for a request, and include the support email address given in the developer’s App Store response, support@trophy-games.com, when appropriate. A concise report should contain:

  • Device model and Android or iOS/iPadOS version.
  • Truck Manager version and the date you last updated.
  • The exact screen and control that triggered the problem.
  • Whether the issue began after an update or account change.
  • Whether it affects normal departures, “depart all,” vehicle purchases, route clicks, Turbo, or only one license.
  • Whether cache clearing, a force-close, and a clean relaunch changed the result.
  • For Android Back freezes, whether you used a gesture or physical button.

Describe what you expected and what happened instead. “Depart remains on a spinner after renewing License X on an iPhone running iOS Y” is substantially more useful than “loading is broken.”

If you actually mean a Steam or PC truck game

The documented Truck Manager fixes above apply to the iPhone/iPad game and the Android issue described by its support pages. A cited Steam help page offers general advice for games that fail at “Preparing to Launch,” but it is not Truck Manager-specific documentation.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

For an unrelated Steam title, follow the platform branch instead:

  • Update Windows and your graphics, chipset, and other relevant drivers.
  • Use Steam’s game-file verification option.
  • Disable non-essential overlays or background software temporarily.
  • Compare the computer with that game’s published system requirements.

Do not use the Steam branch to diagnose an expired Truck Manager license or the Android Back-button freeze; those are different products and different failure modes.

Limits of the available fixes

  • No cited source publishes a universal FPS target, guaranteed RAM threshold, crash-log procedure, or cache-size value for Truck Manager.
  • User reports demonstrate that lag and crashes occur, but they do not prove one root cause for every device.
  • The license-loading and Android Back-button problems are marked as under investigation, so their behavior and permanent fixes may change in a later patch.
  • Cache clearing is a developer-recommended diagnostic step, not a guarantee that every crash will stop.

Use the symptom, platform, account scale, and update history to choose the branch above. If none matches, stop repeating random taps and send support a reproducible report with the details listed.

Why does the Depart button spin forever even after I renew a license?

Force-close and relaunch the game once, then test one departure. If the spinner remains, report the license name, route, cargo, device, and app version; the issue is under investigation and may require a later patch.

How do I fix a Truck Manager freeze after pressing Back on Android?

Open Recent Apps, swipe Truck Manager away, and relaunch it. While the issue remains under investigation, use the game’s own X or back controls instead of Android’s physical or gesture Back button.

How do I reduce Truck Manager lag on Android or iPhone?

Install the newest game version, then clear the device cache using the platform’s normal controls. Apple does not provide one universal app-cache button, so close the app, restart the device, and follow support instructions before considering a reinstall.

Why is the Turbo extension message blank or blocked?

Install the 6 October 2026 hotfix or a later version. It specifically fixed a blocked or blank message when extending Turbo in the store.

What device requirements does Truck Manager have?

Apple lists a 133.3 MB download requiring iOS/iPadOS 15.0 or later. No universal RAM, FPS, cache-size, or hardware threshold is published in the cited support material.

The Bottom Line

Update Truck Manager first. For an endless Depart spinner, renew the expired license under Shop → Add-ons; for an Android Back freeze, force-close and relaunch; for general lag or crashes, clear the cache and retest once. If the problem persists, send support a precise, reproducible report with your device, OS, app version, trigger, and license or cargo details.
