That local-save design is the reason deletion steps require extra care: the Google Play listing warns, “Deleting the app may permanently delete your game data.” Offline play also means a network change is unlikely to repair a damaged local installation; the useful first actions are phone, operating-system, and app maintenance.

The English Google Play listing reported an update on September 20, 2026. Apple’s listing requires iOS or iPadOS 15.6 or later. Store figures shown in 2026—about 4.3 stars from roughly 40 reviews and 100+ downloads—are a small store snapshot, not a crash-rate or reliability measurement.
Before you change anything: protect progress
Because the game is described as storing data on the device, assume progress may be local unless Snow Games has explicitly confirmed a cloud account or export method for your copy. Do not clear storage, uninstall, or delete the app merely because a restart has not yet helped.
- Record your current in-game progress, boxer, currency, and settings if you can still reach the menus. A screenshot is useful when contacting support.
- Note the phone model, Android or iOS/iPadOS version, Newtro Boxing version, and the exact moment the failure occurs.
- If the game opens intermittently, avoid experimenting with “clear data” tools until you have captured what matters.
- Do not confuse clearing a cache with clearing storage. Cache removal normally discards temporary files; storage/data removal resets the app’s local files and can remove a single-player save.

1. Restart the phone
Save anything open, hold the power button, choose Restart, and wait until Android has finished booting. A restart clears a temporary process or memory condition without touching Newtro Boxing’s files. Launch the game once after the home screen is fully available. If it works, no data-destructive action is needed.
2. Install Android and game updates
- Open Settings and use System update, Software update, or your manufacturer’s equivalent. Install a pending update and restart when prompted.
- Open Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, choose Manage apps & device, and install any Newtro Boxing update. If the game does not appear in the update list, open its Play Store page and check the button there.
- Start Newtro Boxing again after both updates complete.
Updating matters because a game build and the operating system must work together. The September 20, 2026 date is the update date shown by the retrieved English Google Play listing; your regional listing may display a different rollout state.
3. Force-stop the game
- Open Settings and select Apps, Applications, or App management.
- Choose Newtro Boxing.
- Tap Force stop, confirm, wait a few seconds, and open the game from its icon.
Force-stopping terminates a stuck process without removing the installed app or its save. If the game immediately crashes again, continue rather than repeatedly tapping the icon; repeated launches do not repair damaged temporary files.

- Return to Settings > Apps > Newtro Boxing > Storage (the entry may be called Storage & cache).
- Tap Clear cache. Do not tap Clear storage, Clear data, or a similarly worded reset control at this stage.
- Restart the phone, then launch Newtro Boxing.
Cache clearing removes temporary data that may have become unusable after an update or interrupted launch. It is the Android-specific escalation with substantially less save risk than clearing storage, although no maintenance operation can guarantee a repair.

5. Consider storage/data clearing only after weighing the save risk
If the game still fails and you have accepted that local progress might be lost, open Settings > Apps > Newtro Boxing > Storage and read the confirmation screen for Clear storage or Clear data. This resets the app’s local files and settings. Do not proceed if preserving the current save is more important than testing a clean profile. Manufacturer guidance commonly cautions against casually clearing storage for single-player games for exactly this reason.
If you do clear it, restart Android, open the game, and check whether a clean launch works. A successful launch after a reset indicates that the previous local state was involved, but it does not prove why it became unusable. If your progress disappeared, stop changing files and contact Snow Games with the details; do not promise yourself that a reinstall will restore it.
6. Reinstall only as the last Android step
Uninstalling removes the installation and may permanently remove Newtro Boxing’s device-stored game data, according to the Google Play warning. Use this step only when updates, force-stop, cache clearing, and a deliberate storage decision have not solved the problem.

- Uninstall Newtro Boxing from its Play Store page or by holding its icon and choosing Uninstall.
- Restart the phone.
- Install Newtro Boxing again from Google Play, open it once, and test before changing other settings.
If a fresh installation still crashes while other apps operate normally, further deletion is unlikely to help. Gather a report for the developer instead.

iPhone and iPad: follow Apple’s sequence
Apple lists Newtro Boxing for iPhone and iPad and states a minimum requirement of iOS/iPadOS 15.6. If your device cannot install the current listing because it is below that requirement, updating the operating system or using a supported device is necessary before app-level troubleshooting.
1. Force-close and reopen Newtro Boxing
On an iPhone with Face ID or on an iPad without a Home button, swipe up from the bottom edge and pause; on a device with a Home button, double-click Home. Find Newtro Boxing in the app switcher and swipe its card up. Return to the Home Screen and open the game again. Force-closing ends a hung process without deleting its local files.
2. Restart the iPhone or iPad
Use Settings > General > Shut Down, move the power-off slider, wait briefly, then hold the side or top button until the Apple logo appears. Alternatively, use the normal power-button sequence for your model. Test Newtro Boxing after the device has completely restarted.
3. Update iOS/iPadOS and the game
- Open Settings > General > Software Update and install any available system update.
- Open the App Store, tap your account picture, and install a pending Newtro Boxing update. You can also search for the app and inspect its update button.
- Open the game after both updates finish.
Apple’s support flow places force-closing, restarting, and updating before deletion. Follow that order so a non-destructive fix is not skipped.

4. Delete and redownload only after considering local data
Apple’s final app-level step is to delete and redownload an app that still does not work. For Newtro Boxing, apply the same save warning shown on Google Play: the game is described as offline with data stored on the device, and deletion may permanently erase that data. If you accept the risk, touch and hold the game icon, choose Remove App > Delete App, restart the device, then reinstall it from the App Store. A fresh install that still fails points to a reproducible app or device compatibility issue rather than a simple stuck process.

When only the game view is black
First check whether the Home Screen, notifications, volume overlay, or other apps remain visible. If the rest of iOS, iPadOS, or Android responds, treat it as an app-level display failure. Install pending game and system updates, force-close and relaunch, and use the platform sequence above. Android users can try Clear cache; do not jump to Clear storage unless the possible save loss is acceptable.
If the black view appears only after a particular fight, menu, or transition, write down that reproducible trigger for Snow Games. Do not claim that a graphics setting or chipset is the cause unless the developer confirms it.

Press the power button, try the device’s standard force-restart combination, and check whether the phone vibrates, rings, or appears on a computer. If the display stays black outside Newtro Boxing, or other games show the same behavior, stop reinstalling the app and contact Apple or the phone manufacturer. An app-specific cache action cannot repair a system-wide display or hardware fault.

When the problem is probably not Newtro Boxing alone
- If several unrelated apps crash, freeze, or display black screens, investigate the phone’s operating-system update state, storage capacity, display behavior, and manufacturer support rather than repeatedly reinstalling one game.
- If the entire display is black, app troubleshooting is the wrong branch; use the device maker’s recovery and support process.
- If Newtro Boxing alone fails after a current OS, current game build, restart, force-close, and cache check, the remaining issue may require a developer fix. There is no published crash-rate, freeze-rate, black-screen incidence, or device compatibility matrix from which to infer a specific cause.

There is no official public statement identifying a particular Android chipset, iPhone model, graphics option, overheating condition, or network state as the cause of Newtro Boxing crashes or black screens.
