If you can’t sign in to Monsters & Memories, download or patch its launcher, or see any servers, start with the official account page: confirm your sign-in method, download the launcher there, and let it finish patching. Then check whether the problem is your account, an outdated client, or your network before treating it as a game-wide outage.
Monsters & Memories entered Early Access on October 1, 2026, and the developers say it continues to receive fixes and other work. Server availability and client behavior can change, so use current official account and game notices rather than assuming an old beta instruction or test announcement describes today’s service.
Start with the official account and launcher
The official FAQ gives this order for getting the game: sign in to your account, select Download Launcher near the top of the account page, install the launcher, and let it patch before playing. Use the official FAQ and account page rather than an unofficial installer mirror.
- Open the official account login page.
- Sign in using the method associated with your account: passkey or email and password.
- From your account page, select Download Launcher and install the downloaded launcher.
- Open the launcher and allow the game to complete its patch before attempting to play.
The official site describes Monsters & Memories as a subscription-based MMORPG in Early Access. The Early Access overview lists the subscription at $15 USD per month, plus applicable taxes; paying for a subscription is not a troubleshooting step, and the price does not establish whether a particular account has access.

If you can’t log in
Passkey or password isn’t working
Use the sign-in option tied to the account. If you do not have the passkey available, try email sign-in. If the password is the issue, use the official forgot-password route on the login page before reinstalling the launcher; changing game files will not resolve an account-authentication problem.
The launcher seems to have stale account access
A beta-period support discussion suggested removing the account from the launcher and adding it again, and clarified that closing and reopening the launcher is not the same as logging out. This is community-reported advice from an earlier beta, not a guaranteed fix for the current Early Access launcher. If you try it, fully sign out or remove the account, then add it again and sign in.

If you can’t download or patch the launcher
Download fails or the launcher is missing
Return to the official account page and follow the FAQ’s sequence: sign in, choose Download Launcher, install, then patch. Avoid third-party download links. If you cannot reach the account page at all, use the network checks below before repeatedly downloading or reinstalling files.
Patch does not finish
First make sure you are using the launcher obtained through your current account page and allow patching to complete. Some earlier community-test users were advised to remove an old install and use the build linked in their invitation. That invitation-era guidance applies only if you are actually using an old beta or community-test install; current Early Access users should follow the account page and official notices instead.

If no servers are listed
An empty server list does not by itself establish an outage. Check account access and client version first: confirm you are signed into the account with access, and ensure the installed client is the current one rather than an old community-test build.
The official FAQ lists the Early Access servers: US West PvE, two US East PvE options, US PvP, US PvE with a three-box limit, and EU PvE. Server availability and population may change, so consult current official account or game notices if an expected server is missing. Older beta invitation instructions may not apply to every Early Access account.

If the site can’t be reached or you see ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
A support forum thread records a player reporting ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED. Replies suggested trying another browser and checking whether an ISP or regional filter could be involved; one player said a VPN resolved their individual connection problem. These are anecdotal user reports, not official troubleshooting instructions, proof that a VPN is required, or confirmation of a current service problem.
- Try the account page in another browser to see whether the failure is browser-specific.
- If the issue persists, consider whether your ISP or regional network rules could be blocking access; do not assume that this is the cause without checking.
- A VPN was reported as a personal workaround by one forum user, but it is not an official requirement or a guaranteed fix.
- If ordinary network checks do not help, contact official support rather than changing unrelated game files or buying hardware.
How to tell a local problem from a service issue
Use the symptom to choose what to check first. Authentication errors point toward the sign-in method or account recovery; download and patch problems point toward the official launcher and client state; a missing server list calls for checking access and client version; a site connection error calls for browser and network checks. None of these symptoms alone confirms a service-wide outage.

The official notice about the 2025 public stress test warned that participants could encounter installation failures, networking issues, and unexpected drops during that technical test. It is historical context, not evidence of a present-day outage. Check current official notices or contact support for account-specific or service-wide problems.
