If Maneki Mania is not showing progress, a reward, or a purchase, first treat it as a session, version, account, or offline-income timing problem—not an immediate save reset. Record what is missing, your platform and version, and screenshots; then reconnect, fully restart the game, update it, and verify the store account. Machines can generate offline income for up to eight hours, so a payout that has reached the cap can look like lost progress. For a charged purchase, use the platform’s recovery steps before reinstalling or deleting data.
What can look like a Maneki Mania sync failure?
Maneki Mania is a digital incremental game from Javier Lianes García (Lianes8 Studio), with TrueColor Games listed as its Asia publisher. The Steam listing supports Windows, macOS, and Linux and advertises full controller support; mouse and keyboard remain available, so a controller is optional. The visible progression systems include koban, a fortune meter, charm-slot rewards, charms, talents, shrine ranks, and a 91-node upgrade tree. A problem in one screen does not prove that the whole save has been erased.

Before changing anything, identify exactly what failed
Do not uninstall the game, clear app data, or start a new save while you are still collecting evidence. Local data may not be recoverable if the title does not provide cloud backup, and the available official material does not establish cross-device progression.
- Name the missing item. Write down the amount of koban, the fortune-meter result, the specific charm or talent, the shrine rank, the upgrade-tree node, the offline payout, or the paid item that is absent.
- Record context. Note whether you are playing the Steam build, an Android build, or another supported distribution; record the game version shown in its menu or store; and write down the approximate time and time zone.
- Capture proof. Take screenshots of the balance or locked item, the relevant menu, and (for a purchase) the store order confirmation. Keep the receipt private; do not publish payment details in a forum or Discord message.
- Check whether the action really completed. If the game closed during a reward roll, upgrade, or checkout, the action may have been interrupted rather than successfully committed.
Refresh Maneki Mania without risking your save
A clean session resolves many display and entitlement delays and is the safest first intervention.
- Connect the device to a reliable internet connection. If you are on Wi-Fi, briefly test another network or mobile data; avoid repeatedly tapping a purchase button while the connection is uncertain.
- Exit to the game’s normal menu if possible, then fully close Maneki Mania. On a phone, open the system app switcher and swipe the game away; on a computer, quit the game rather than leaving it suspended.
- Launch Maneki Mania again and wait until the main screen and all relevant counters finish loading. Do not immediately start another purchase or claim action.
- Recheck the exact screen where the value was missing. Look at the currency total, inventory, fortune meter, charm slots, talents, shrine rank, and upgrade tree as applicable.
- If the value is still absent, take a second screenshot with the current time. This gives support a before-and-after record without altering the save.
For Google Play purchases, the platform’s guidance specifically includes checking connectivity, force-stopping and reopening the app, and restarting the device. Those steps are also a sensible general refresh for a delayed game display.

Update the build and verify the account context
Maneki Mania’s release state is changing: the planned demo, Early Access, and 1.0 milestones are separate builds, and Early Access can contain platform-specific bugs or incomplete systems. A version mismatch can therefore explain why a reward or entitlement behaves differently from another player’s report.
- Open the store page for the platform you are using and install any available Maneki Mania update.
- Write down the version after updating. If you are comparing reports, make sure the other report refers to the same release channel rather than a later Early Access build or the demo.
- Verify that the active store account is the one that owns the game or made the purchase. A second Steam, Apple, or Google account can make an otherwise valid entitlement appear absent.
- Restart the device after an update, then open the game once more and check the missing item.
The Steam Early Access information says the developers are collecting reports about bugs and platform compatibility. That makes a reproducible report more useful than assuming a universal reset or sync rule.
Check the eight-hour offline-income rule
Machines continue earning while Maneki Mania is closed, but the developer describes offline earning as lasting for up to eight hours. The game may therefore show a smaller payout than expected when it has been closed for a longer period: income is capped rather than accumulated indefinitely.

Calculate the expected window
- Note the time you last collected or actively played.
- Note the time you reopened the game.
- Count only the first eight hours of that closed period when estimating the offline payout.
- Open the machine or collection screen and claim the available amount. Then check the koban balance again after returning to the main screen.
For example, if the game was closed for 12 hours, do not expect 12 hours of machine income. The documented rule supports at most eight hours of offline earning. If the payout is still missing after a fresh session and the closed period was eight hours or less, preserve screenshots and escalate it as a reproducible issue.

When progress, charms, talents, or the upgrade tree do not change
Koban and the fortune meter
Check the balance and fortune meter from their primary screens after restarting. Record the amount before and after the action, the cost shown, and whether an animation or confirmation appeared. Avoid spending the same currency again to “test” the transaction; that can obscure the original failure.
Charm slots and charms
Inspect both the charm inventory and the slot screen. A reward can be present in inventory but not equipped, or a slot can remain unavailable because its unlock condition has not been met. Record the exact charm name, the slot number, and any requirement text shown.

Talents, shrine ranks, and the 91-node tree
Check the talent screen, shrine-rank display, and upgrade-tree node separately. Note whether the currency was deducted, whether the node changed state, and whether a prerequisite remains highlighted. A single unresponsive node does not establish that all progression was reset; it may be a failed action, a prerequisite state, or a UI refresh problem.
Rewards after a milestone or meter result
Return to the main menu after completing the milestone, reopen the reward or inventory screen, and look for the item in every relevant category. If the reward still does not appear, record the action that triggered it, the displayed result, and the exact time. Do not repeatedly claim or reroll while the state is uncertain.

First distinguish a consumable from a permanent, non-consumable entitlement. Platform restoration normally applies to eligible non-consumable purchases; game currency and other consumables generally cannot be restored through Apple’s restore mechanism.

Apple devices
- Sign in to the same Apple Account used for the original purchase.
- Open Maneki Mania and use its restore-purchases option if the game provides one. The exact button label and location can vary by build.
- Wait for the restore operation to finish, then close and reopen the game and check the entitlement.
- If an eligible, charged purchase still cannot be restored, restart the device and try the restore option once more.
- For a persistent failure, contact the game developer with the order receipt, platform, game version, time of purchase, and screenshots. Do not send your password or full payment credentials.
Apple’s guidance treats consumable items such as game currency differently: they generally are not restorable. A missing consumable therefore requires a purchase-delivery investigation rather than repeated restore taps.
Google Play devices
- Open Google Play order history and confirm that the transaction is complete, not pending, declined, refunded, or canceled.
- Check the internet connection and confirm that the Google account shown in Play is the account that made the purchase.
- Force-stop Maneki Mania, reopen it, and wait for the game to finish loading.
- Restart the device and check the item again.
- If it is still missing, enable automatic date, time, and time-zone settings, then retry after the device clock has synchronized.
- Contact the app developer with the order number, receipt, platform, version, timestamp, and screenshots. Google identifies the app developer—not the store—as the correct escalation point for an item that was charged but not delivered.
Do not buy the item again while waiting for support. A delayed first transaction can later arrive and leave you with two charges.

A delayed display usually affects one counter, inventory category, or entitlement while other progress remains intact. Evidence that may indicate a broader save problem includes several unrelated systems reverting at once, a new-player introduction appearing unexpectedly, or a profile identifier changing. Even those signs do not prove that recovery is impossible.
- Compare the current koban total, fortune-meter state, charms, talents, shrine rank, and upgrade-tree nodes with your screenshots.
- Check whether the game is loading the same platform account and profile as before.
- Do not delete local data or reinstall solely to test whether the problem clears. No confirmed Maneki Mania cloud-save or restore procedure is documented in the available official material.
- If another device is involved, do not assume that progress transfers between devices or platforms; cross-device behavior has not been established.
Escalate with a report developers can reproduce
No dedicated Maneki Mania support email address or title-specific save-recovery article is established in the available official information. The Steam Early Access FAQ directs players to Steam Community, Steam Discussions, and Discord for bug, balance, platform-compatibility, and quality-of-life reports.
Use one report for one failure and include:
- Platform and distribution channel (for example, Steam or Google Play), operating system, and game version.

Post only the minimum personal information needed for diagnosis. Keep receipts and account details in a private support exchange rather than a public thread.
