Hulu’s current verification screen asks for a six-digit code sent to your email address, and says the code expires after 15 minutes. If you cannot verify your email, check that you are looking in the right mailbox, search filtered folders, and use the newest code you receive. If the email never arrives or the code is rejected, try a clean sign-in session and contact Hulu support if the problem continues.
Use the fixes below in order. Hulu’s public screen does not confirm whether requesting another code invalidates an earlier one, so use the newest code you receive.
1. Confirm what Hulu is asking for
The current Hulu flow is code-based, not a clickable verification-link process. The page says “We need you to verify your email address.” and includes these controls:
- “Check your email inbox”
- A field for the six-digit code
- “Continue”
- “Cancel”
- “Didn’t receive the email? Resend.”
Look for a Hulu email containing a six-digit code. If you are searching for a link instead, follow the code-based process shown on Hulu’s current screen.

2. Search every relevant mailbox folder
Open the inbox for the email address associated with your Hulu account, then search for Hulu. Also check:
- Spam or junk
- Promotions, Updates, or Other tabs
- Trash and archived mail
- Any quarantine or filtering area provided by your email provider
If you use more than one email account, check the address Hulu displayed or the one you normally use to sign in. A code sent to one address will not help if you are checking another mailbox.
For work, school, or custom-domain email, an administrator or mail filter may be holding automated messages. Try the mailbox’s web interface if you normally use a phone or desktop mail app.
3. Wait briefly, then use “Resend”
Email delivery may be delayed. Wait a few minutes and refresh the mailbox. If nothing arrives, select “Resend” on Hulu’s verification screen.

If repeated requests produce no email, pause and check your mailbox filters and account address before requesting another code.
4. Enter the code before it expires
Hulu’s verification screen says each code expires in 15 minutes. Enter all six digits carefully, without spaces or extra characters. If the code has expired:
- Return to Hulu’s verification screen.
- Select “Resend.”
- Open the newest Hulu email.
- Enter its six-digit code.
- Select “Continue.”
If Hulu rejects a code, check that it came from the newest message. This can be easy to miss when your email app groups several Hulu messages into one conversation.

If the verification page seems stuck or keeps looping, start a clean sign-in session:
- Close the Hulu tab or app.
- Open a private or incognito browser window, or try a different browser.
- Go directly to Hulu’s sign-in page.
- Sign in again and request a code if prompted.
- Enter the newest code within 15 minutes.
If the private window works, browser cookies, cached data, or extensions may be interfering. You can try removing Hulu-related site data and restarting the browser. In Chrome, for example, open Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data and permissions, search for Hulu, and remove matching site data. Menu names can vary by browser version.

6. Check for email or browser interference
Try the verification with browser extensions disabled, particularly ad blockers, privacy extensions, and script blockers. Check whether your email provider has a rule that moves or deletes Hulu messages.
Do not disable antivirus or security software permanently. If a security product is blocking the page or message, check its event log or allow-list options instead of lowering protection across the device.

A typo in the account email or access to the wrong mailbox can make verification appear broken. If you can sign in on another device or browser, check which email address is associated with the account. Hulu’s Help Center has an article called “Change your Hulu email address”, but its current page does not verify a specific sequence of account-menu buttons. Use the instructions Hulu currently provides rather than relying on an unverified settings path.
If you cannot access the account or are unsure which email address is registered, Hulu lists separate Help Center topics for “Forgot Email Address” and “Forgot Hulu Password.” Their retrieved pages do not establish specific recovery steps here, so follow Hulu’s current instructions or contact support.
8. Try Hulu’s standard login troubleshooting
Email verification can be affected by browser, app, or session problems. Hulu’s current login-help page, “How do I log in to Hulu?”, is associated with these troubleshooting topics:

9. Contact Hulu if the code never arrives or is rejected
Contact Hulu if you have checked the account address and mailbox folders, tried a clean sign-in session, and still cannot receive or use a code.
- Open Hulu’s Contact Us page.
- Select “Login & Access.”
- Use “Search Topics” or the “Enter a question or topic” field if offered.
- Explain whether the email is missing or the code is rejected, and include approximately when you requested codes.
Do not send your password or verification code to anyone. Hulu says live support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
