The controller’s Bluetooth is for audio devices such as earbuds or a headset. For wireless console play, use the included dedicated USB receiver; a USB-C cable is the wired alternative.
Choose the connection method for what you’re connecting

Nacon states that the controller cannot connect to a console through Bluetooth. Its support FAQ and quick start guide describe the separate audio and console connection paths.
Pair Bluetooth earbuds or a headset
- Place the controller and earbuds or headset near each other.
- Put the earbuds or headset into Bluetooth pairing mode, following that device’s instructions.
- Press and hold the controller’s Bluetooth button for six seconds.
- Check the light ring around the right stick. Alternating blue and white flashes mean the controller is in pairing mode.
- Once pairing completes, the light ring stops flashing.
For a later connection to the same audio device, hold the controller’s Bluetooth button for three seconds to turn Bluetooth on; Nacon says the device should reconnect automatically. Its instructions do not specify Bluetooth range, supported codecs, or compatible headset models.
Fix a wireless console connection
Wireless console play uses the dedicated Nacon USB receiver, not Bluetooth. Nacon says another dongle is not compatible.

- Charge the controller.
- Make sure the dedicated receiver is firmly connected to the console.
- Confirm the receiver LED and the controller player LED are steady.
- Set the controller’s physical platform switch to the platform you’re using.
For PS5 CFI-1000-series consoles, Nacon’s quick start guide recommends inserting the receiver into a front USB port. That recommendation is specific to that console series.
Reconnect with a USB-C cable
- Connect the controller to the console with a USB-C cable, with both ends firmly seated. Nacon recommends the supplied cable when charging.
- Set the physical platform switch to the correct platform.
- Press the PS button to synchronize or reconnect.
If you switch from wireless to wired mode, the console may show “Controller was disconnected.” Press PS to reconnect. A cable is a wired fallback, not a fix for Bluetooth audio pairing.

If a PC does not recognize the controller
Nacon lists PS5, PS4, and Windows/PC compatibility. If Windows does not recognize the controller, set the underside mode switch to its third position (PC). Nacon describes PC game support as XInput-compatible. See the product page for the listed compatibility.
Reset the controller only after checking the connection
If the checks above do not resolve the problem, insert the tip of a paper clip into the reset hole on the back of the controller for several seconds, as Nacon’s support FAQ instructs. Nacon’s retrieved instructions do not explain whether a reset clears Bluetooth pairings or stored profiles, so do not assume either outcome.

When a replacement accessory may help
If the supplied USB-C cable is missing or damaged, first check whether you have a suitable cable to try for wired connection or charging. A Bluetooth headset or earbuds are the relevant category for controller Bluetooth audio, but Nacon’s materials do not verify specific third-party models. For wireless console play, use the dedicated Nacon receiver; a generic receiver is not a substitute.
