Your Cookie Run: OvenBreak Player ID is shown inside the game’s Settings menu. To connect an event or another participating CookieRun title, use Settings > Account > DevPlay Login and sign in with the same DevPlay account required by that event. Your Player ID, DevPlay login and Google Play or Game Center save account are different things; confusing them is the main reason links and account-recovery attempts fail.
First, identify which account or ID you need
OvenBreak uses several account concepts. An event form may ask for your Player ID, while the event’s linking screen asks you to authenticate with DevPlay. Neither of those replaces the Google Play or Game Center account that stores your OvenBreak progress.

If a page asks for an “OvenBreak ID,” read the field label and the event instructions carefully. When the request is for a Player ID, copy the value displayed in OvenBreak’s Settings, not an email address, DevPlay account name or platform account.

Devsisters’ CookieRun: OvenBreak support form states, “You can check your Player ID from the game’s Settings.” The exact subtab or label can move between app versions, so use the account or user area within Settings and copy the ID exactly as displayed.

- Open CookieRun: OvenBreak. Wait until the main lobby is visible. If the game is still loading, the account controls may not be available.
- Open Settings. Tap the gear icon in the lobby.
- Look in the account or user section. Browse the Settings tabs for the area that displays account details. Menu wording can differ by app version, but the Player ID is presented from the game’s Settings screen.
- Copy the complete value. Preserve every digit and character, and avoid adding spaces or punctuation. If the game offers a copy control, use it; otherwise transcribe the value and compare it character by character before submitting it.
- Paste it into the event or support form field labeled Player ID. Do not substitute the DevPlay email, DevPlay sign-in name or Google Play/Game Center account.
Take a fresh copy immediately before filing an event claim or support request. This prevents an old screenshot, a mistyped digit or a value from a different profile being submitted.
Link OvenBreak to DevPlay
The official OvenBreak linking path is Settings > Account > DevPlay Login. The account you authenticate must be the same DevPlay account required in the other participating game or by the event.
- Open the OvenBreak lobby and tap the gear icon. This opens Settings.
- Open Account. Select the account section rather than a general gameplay or notification tab.
- Tap DevPlay Login. This is the OvenBreak control used to connect DevPlay.
- Choose the sign-in method for the required DevPlay account. The linking guide recommends Google, Apple or email. Use the same method and account identity wherever the event or the other linked Devsisters game asks you to sign in.
- Complete the authentication screens. Check the account identifier shown before confirming, especially if more than one Google or Apple account is available on the device.
- Return to the event instructions. Follow any separate claim step. Linking alone does not change which OvenBreak save is loaded, and event rewards can have campaign-specific delivery rules.
Facebook linking is specifically warned against in the official guide because it can cause issues. If you have a choice, use one of the guide’s recommended Google, Apple or email methods and keep that choice consistent across every participating game.

Why DevPlay login does not restore your OvenBreak save
DevPlay is not OvenBreak’s progress-storage account. The official “What is DevPlay?” FAQ states, “You cannot save your CookieRun: OvenBreak progress with DevPlay.” It describes DevPlay as an account used for various OvenBreak events and explains that signing in to DevPlay on a new device will not load your OvenBreak game data.
Your progress remains associated with the Google Play account on Android or the Game Center account on Apple devices. Keep using the platform account that currently holds the save, particularly before moving between Android and iOS. A successful DevPlay authentication can coexist with an empty or different OvenBreak profile if the device is not using the original Google Play or Game Center account.
What each sign-in proves
- Player ID: identifies the profile currently open in OvenBreak.
- DevPlay login: proves which event or cross-game authentication account you are using.
- Google Play/Game Center login: determines which OvenBreak progress storage is available on that platform.
Therefore, do not delete the game, switch platform accounts or reset a device merely because DevPlay does not display your old progress. First verify the Google Play or Game Center account that previously held the save.

Use the correct account for an event
Cross-game campaigns generally require one DevPlay identity in every participating title. If the event says to link OvenBreak with another Devsisters game, sign in with the same Google, Apple or email-based DevPlay account in both games. A different DevPlay account can authenticate successfully yet remain invisible to the event because it is not the account the campaign is tracking.

When an event asks for a Player ID
- Open the OvenBreak profile that you intend to use for the event.
- Read the Player ID from Settings.
- Paste that value into the event field that explicitly says Player ID.
- Complete DevPlay Login from Settings > Account > DevPlay Login with the campaign’s required account.
- Check the event page for its own claim button, eligibility conditions and delivery window.
Do not assume that entering a Player ID automatically links DevPlay, or that logging into DevPlay automatically identifies the correct OvenBreak profile. They are separate steps serving separate purposes.
Reward delivery can be campaign-specific
In the Witch’s Castle/OvenBreak event covered by the official linking guide, rewards were described as being delivered to the OvenBreak mailbox within one hour and claimable once per account. That timing and one-claim rule belong to that campaign; they are not a permanent rule for every future event. If a different event gives no reward immediately, read its own instructions before repeating the link.

Troubleshoot a missing ID, failed link or unrecognized event
The event rejects the ID
- Return to OvenBreak and copy the value from the in-game Settings screen.
- Confirm that the field asks for Player ID, not a DevPlay email, DevPlay account name or platform account.
- Check for transposed digits, omitted characters or accidental spaces introduced while typing.
- Make sure you are viewing the intended OvenBreak profile before copying the value.
The DevPlay link is not recognized
- Open Settings > Account > DevPlay Login again and verify the signed-in identity.
- Use exactly the same DevPlay account in every participating game and in the event page.
- If you previously tried Facebook, switch to a consistent Google, Apple or email method recommended by the linking guide, if the event permits it.
- Look for a separate event enrollment or claim action; authentication by itself may not submit the campaign entry.
The DevPlay button or menu label is missing
Labels and placement can vary by app version. Confirm that you are in the current OvenBreak lobby, open the gear icon, and inspect the Account area rather than relying on an older screenshot. If DevPlay Login is still absent, or an event uses different wording, use the official CookieRun: OvenBreak Help & Support request form.
DevPlay login succeeds but the game starts without your progress
Check the Google Play account on Android or the Game Center account on Apple devices. DevPlay cannot load OvenBreak progress on a new device, so signing into DevPlay alone cannot restore the save. Avoid creating a new profile or overwriting local data while you determine which platform account contains the original progress.

The official support form accepts a User ID and explains that the Player ID is available in Settings. Supply the value from the current OvenBreak Settings screen and describe the event, device change or menu problem briefly. The form warns against disclosing unnecessary personal or financial information; include only the details needed to identify and resolve the issue.

Changing devices or moving between Android and iOS
Before changing hardware or platforms, preserve access to the platform account that currently stores your OvenBreak progress. On Android, that means the Google Play account associated with the save; on Apple devices, it means the relevant Game Center account. Record the Player ID from Settings while the original profile is still accessible, and note which DevPlay identity you use for events.
- Open OvenBreak on the old device and confirm that the expected progress is visible.
- Record the Player ID from Settings.
- Verify the Google Play or Game Center account currently holding the save.
- Record the DevPlay sign-in method and account identity used for any active event.
- On the new device, sign in to the same platform account before expecting OvenBreak progress to appear.
- Use DevPlay Login only for the event or cross-game authentication step; do not treat it as the save-transfer mechanism.
Android-to-iOS and iOS-to-Android moves deserve extra caution because the platform account changes. The official FAQ’s warning means that a DevPlay login on the new platform is not a substitute for preserving the original Google Play or Game Center save account.

- Google Play or Game Center remains the account associated with the OvenBreak save.
- You treated event reward timing and claim limits as campaign-specific.
- You contacted official CookieRun: OvenBreak Help & Support when the ID, menu or event link could not be resolved.
