To find sponsors for your live stream, make your channel easy to evaluate, identify brands that fit your audience, and send a specific pitch that explains the integration and deliverables. Start with Twitch’s Creator Profile and Sponsorships dashboard or, on YouTube, direct outreach and Creator Partnerships if eligible. These routes can help you get discovered, but none guarantees a deal.
How do I get sponsors for my stream?
Build a clear case for why a particular brand belongs in your stream: describe what your channel covers, who watches, what your performance looks like, and how you would present the product without disrupting the audience experience. Then pursue more than one route—platform discovery, eligible creator programs, and direct outreach.
- Define your audience and fit. Describe your niche, community, and the product categories that would feel natural. Explain why viewers might care about the product, not just how many people watch.
- Make your channel sponsor-ready. Complete the platform profiles and contact details brands may use to evaluate or reach you. Check any program or campaign eligibility requirements.
- Prepare a concise media kit. Gather channel information, audience insights, dated performance figures, examples of your work, proposed sponsor formats, and contact information.
- Find brands and pitch a specific idea. Use platform tools where available and contact relevant brands directly. Propose one or two integrations, define the deliverables, and link to relevant clips and your media kit.
- Agree on terms before accepting. Clarify scope, dates, usage rights, exclusivity, payment timing, reporting, and cancellation terms. Ask the brand how it will assess the campaign.
- Disclose the sponsorship and deliver what you agreed. Use the platform’s branded-content tools where applicable, and make the disclosure clear to viewers.

Twitch: complete your profile and check the dashboard
Twitch says a completed Creator Profile can help brands and agencies discover creators. Keep its channel information, interests, and sponsorship preferences accurate and current, then review the Sponsorships dashboard for opportunities. Twitch’s August 20, 2026 announcement says Affiliates must be Creator Sponsorship Certified to qualify for sponsorship opportunities. Certification is a requirement for those Twitch opportunities, not a universal prerequisite for sponsorships arranged directly with brands.
Twitch also announced Wehype offers appearing through its third-party campaign experience. In a February 25, 2025 announcement, Twitch described StreamElements as its first partner for sponsorship offers in the dashboard, with campaign terms, payout, and customer support handled through StreamElements. These announcements describe platform offerings at particular points in time; check your own dashboard for current partners, eligibility, and terms.

Twitch reported collaborating with more than 70 brands in its beta program in February 2025. That historical figure is not a current marketplace count and does not mean every creator will receive an offer.
YouTube: combine direct outreach with Creator Partnerships
YouTube’s guidance recommends contacting brands through public contact forms, finding marketing directors on LinkedIn, contacting brands on X, and checking eligibility for Creator Partnerships. You can also consider turning on channel insights sharing so brands can assess your channel for campaigns. Program eligibility and available opportunities can change, so check the current terms in YouTube Studio.

Direct outreach gives you control over which brands you approach and what you propose, but you need to identify a relevant contact and make the fit clear. Platform discovery can surface opportunities, but a profile or application does not guarantee a match or campaign.
What should I put in a streamer media kit?
Make it brief enough to scan and specific enough for a brand to judge fit. YouTube recommends explaining why you want to partner, describing your channel and audience, sharing performance and demographic information, and suggesting collaboration ideas.

- Channel identity: a concise description of your stream, niche, format, and community.
- Audience: relevant audience insights or demographics you can substantiate.
- Performance: figures such as active subscribers, views, unique viewers, watch time, or typical retention. Date each figure and state the period it covers.
- Examples: links to selected streams or clips that show your presentation style and production.
- Possible integrations: formats you can deliver, such as a product demonstration or an on-stream mention, tailored to the brand.
- Contact details: a reliable way to reach you and, where appropriate, your preferred business contact.
Do not inflate figures or present a short-term spike as a typical result. There is no universal follower count, viewer threshold, or revenue cutoff established for sponsorship readiness; brands and campaigns set their own criteria.
How do I pitch a brand to sponsor my livestream?
Write to a relevant person with a proposal tailored to the product and your audience. Keep the opening focused on the match and the idea rather than a generic request for sponsorship.

- Name the brand and product you have in mind.
- Explain why the product is relevant to your audience and stream format.
- Propose one or two specific integrations and state what you would deliver, such as a segment, mention, or linked placement.
- Include your dated media-kit metrics and links to relevant stream examples.
- Ask what the brand wants the campaign to achieve and what information it needs to assess the proposal.
Before agreeing, get the details in writing: deliverables, dates, compensation and payment timing, content approval expectations, usage rights, exclusivity, reporting, and cancellation terms. Do not assume a platform-surfaced campaign has the same terms as a direct deal; check the campaign’s own conditions.

Disclose when a brand influences your livestream in exchange for value. YouTube’s branded-content policy includes livestreams and value such as payment, free products, or sponsorship; YouTube instructs creators to declare branded content in Studio and remains clear that creators are responsible for making disclosure clear and prominent. Twitch’s branded-content guidance describes a disclosure tool in the Creator Dashboard. Use the relevant platform tool, but do not assume a toggle alone meets every legal requirement.

Applicable disclosure rules can depend on your location, audience, and content category. Twitch and YouTube both place responsibility on creators and brands to understand the requirements that apply to them. If you are unsure about a local obligation, seek jurisdiction-specific guidance rather than treating platform controls as legal advice.
Can I get a sponsor without a big audience?
There is no universal audience-size threshold established for sponsorships. A smaller channel can still make a focused pitch if it can show a clearly defined audience, relevant content, credible performance data, and a practical way to present the product. Do not promise reach or results you cannot substantiate, and do not treat a platform profile or certification as a guarantee of an offer.
