The official Toca Boca World collaboration with Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters is scheduled to launch on October 27, 2026. After the update is available, open Toca Boca World and tap the Portal button marked with a sparkle icon in the top-left corner, between Shop and Home. Before looking for the collaboration, install any available Toca Boca World update from the official app store on your device. After the download finishes, launch the game once and allow it to complete any in-game content installation. If your device has limited storage, free space before updating; an app-store update can fail or remain pending when the device cannot complete the installation. These are general preparation steps rather than collaboration-specific requirements.
Use the account and device that normally run your game
Open the same Toca Boca World installation and account you normally use. Switching devices or accounts can make your saved locations, purchased content or local creations appear different, which makes it harder to tell whether the collaboration itself is missing. The official announcement does not publish separate account-eligibility rules, so there is no confirmed alternate sign-in procedure to follow.
Plan to check after the launch date
If you open the game before October 27, the collaboration may not be visible because the launch has not occurred. Do not assume that an absent Portal post means your device is unsupported. Check again after the announced date, following an app update if one is offered.
Find the KPop Demon Hunters post in the Portal
- Open Toca Boca World. Wait until the home screen and your normal world content finish loading.

- Tap the Portal. This opens the in-app feed that Toca Boca uses for updates, tips, locations, features and gifts.
- Read the KPop Demon Hunters post. Look for the collaboration announcement or a post that identifies the new fashion, music player or related location.
- Use the post’s location link when available. A Portal post can take you directly to a location. Following that link is the most direct documented route to the collaboration area.
- Inspect the destination. Look for the newly announced fashion, character-inspired pieces and music-player access. The exact room, building or item arrangement has not been documented in an official item-by-item walkthrough.
The Portal is preferable to searching randomly through every location because it is the game’s official discovery surface for new features and gifts. If the collaboration post includes a direct-location control, use it rather than assuming the content is in the Shop or in a particular free location.

Use the announced fashion and character-inspired items
Build HUNTR/X-inspired looks
The collaboration announcement describes exclusive in-game fashion inspired by HUNTR/X. That gives you a theme for character creation, but it does not prescribe one uniform. Start with a character’s everyday base outfit, then add the newly available pieces that suggest performance styling. This approach lets you make a character who can move between ordinary scenes and a stage-oriented story without replacing every item at once.
Style Saja Boys-inspired characters
Saja Boys-inspired pieces are also announced. You can create a separate character group for them, or combine selected pieces with your existing wardrobe to create rival performers, friends, backstage staff or supporting characters. Mix individual pieces instead of copying a complete outfit

Fashion can communicate a character’s role before any dialogue is written. A bright stage look can identify a performer; a simpler outfit can signal a rehearsal, travel or everyday scene. Build a short cast with contrasting looks, then place them in locations that fit your story. This does not require the characters to match a film costume exactly—the announced feature is intended to support personal stories and self-expression.

- Use the selected track as the background for a performance, rehearsal, entrance, celebration or other story moment.
- Change the song and replay the same scene if you want to compare the mood created by each track.
The announcement specifically says the songs can soundtrack your own stories. It does not publish controls for volume, looping, downloads, offline playback or recording, so those options should not be assumed until they are visible in the live interface.
Can you play “Golden” in Toca Boca World?
“Golden” is one of the four songs named in the announcement, so it is expected to be part of the collaboration’s music-player selection when the feature is active. The same announcement describes the songs as available for a limited time. If “Golden” is not listed, first confirm that the game is updated and that you are viewing the collaboration feature rather than a different music control.
Turn the collaboration into a complete story
Use a three-part performance plot
For a simple story structure, begin with an everyday scene in which the characters prepare for an event. Move to a rehearsal or backstage location and introduce the fashion pieces that distinguish HUNTR/X-inspired and Saja Boys-inspired characters. End with a performance scene using one of the music-player tracks. This gives the announced fashion and music separate narrative jobs instead of treating them as decorations.

Make the same cast work in different genres
The styling can support more than a concert story. Use the everyday side of the design for a school, friendship or travel scene, then switch to stage-oriented pieces for a competition or celebration. Because the announcement emphasizes mixing everyday style with K-pop stage energy, the same characters can plausibly appear in both modes.

Keep temporary music in mind
If you are making a story you want to revisit, note which soundtrack you selected and keep a version that still works without it. The songs are announced for a limited time, and no end date has been published. A story can remain playable even if the temporary music feature later changes, but the exact behavior after removal has not been documented.

Do not treat screenshots, fan posts or an apparent Shop listing as proof of a universal price. The four songs are described as limited-time story soundtracks, but the announcement does not give a final date. The collaboration itself is therefore time-sensitive even though the exact removal schedule is unknown. If a song or item is important to a story, use it while it is visible and keep your own notes about the scene.

Troubleshoot missing posts, items or songs
The Portal post does not appear
- Confirm that the calendar date has reached the announced launch date.
- Install any pending Toca Boca World update from the official app store.
- Close and reopen the game after the update completes.
- Open Portal from the top-left position between Shop and Home rather than relying on a shortcut or an old bookmark.
- Check the feed again later if the post still is not visible. The official sources do not document a separate collaboration-specific fix.
The post opens, but the destination looks empty
- Read the entire post for a second location link or an instruction to enter another area.
- Return to Portal and open the post again so that its destination link is followed from the current version of the game.
- Verify that the update finished downloading; an app can open while additional content is still being installed.
- Avoid assuming that every item must be in Shop. The announcement describes Portal as a route to locations, features and gifts, and the exact item placement has not been published.
The fashion is visible but a song is missing
- Open the announced music player rather than a different in-game audio control.

Netflix’s product guide separately lists physical fan products, including a Monopoly Deal: KPop Demon Hunters Card Game and an HUNTR/X heroic-poses T-shirt sold through Amazon. Those are real-world goods, not Toca Boca World add-ons. Buying one does not unlock the in-game fashion or music player, and the Toca Boca collaboration does not automatically include a physical product.
If your goal is to create stories in Toca Boca World, use the Portal and the in-game feature. Consider physical merchandise only as a separate fan activity, and verify current availability and pricing on the retailer’s live listing.
