To make your POCO C95 Pro battery last longer without making the phone feel sluggish, first check which apps are using the most power. Then make targeted adjustments to brightness, refresh rate, and background activity. Save Battery Saver for times when extra standby matters more than unrestricted syncing and notifications.
What to change first on the POCO C95 Pro
Start with the battery-usage chart rather than restricting every app. Xiaomi recommends checking app and service consumption, then addressing the largest avoidable drains. That lets you preserve normal behavior in apps that matter while targeting the ones using more power than expected.

- Open Settings and go to Battery.
- Open the Battery saver page and tap the battery chart to see consumption by app or service.
- Check whether an app shows unusually high use, especially in the background. If it is not essential, review its background activity or usage settings before changing system-wide options.
Xiaomi documents this route as general support guidance, and menu names can vary by software version or region. If the labels differ, search Settings for “Battery” or “Battery usage.”
Which settings drain battery on a POCO C95 Pro?
Screen brightness
A brighter display can use more power. Lower brightness to the least you find comfortable in the conditions where the screen is brighter than necessary. Avoid setting it so low that the display becomes hard to read outdoors.

Refresh rate
The C95 Pro display supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz for supported apps. Xiaomi notes that a high refresh rate can contribute to faster battery drain, while lowering it can reduce motion smoothness.
If your software offers a Default or adaptive option, try that first for a balance. If runtime is still a problem and you do not need the smoothest scrolling or gaming, try 60Hz. Search Settings for Refresh rate if you cannot find the control; a specific menu path is not confirmed for this model.

Background app activity
Use the battery chart to identify which apps merit attention, then limit only nonessential ones. Restrictions on background activity may delay syncing, updates, or notifications for affected apps. Keep normal background access for messaging, email, location, or other services where timely updates matter.
When should you use Battery Saver?
Battery Saver is useful for travel, a long day away from an outlet, or a stretch when standby time matters more than unrestricted background activity. Xiaomi describes the feature as a way to reduce power consumption and extend standby time. Depending on your software, it may be available in Settings or through a Quick Settings tile.

On some Xiaomi phones, the control is under Settings > Battery > Current mode, but that exact path is not verified for the C95 Pro. Search Settings for “Battery Saver” if the menu differs. Use a more aggressive option such as Ultra Battery Saver only when conserving standby is more important than normal phone use.
How to keep performance while saving power
- Keep the higher refresh rate if smooth scrolling or gaming matters more to you than additional runtime.
- Lower brightness only when the screen is brighter than needed.
- Make app restrictions based on the battery chart, not as a blanket rule.
- Leave background access enabled for apps that need to deliver prompt alerts or sync reliably.
- Turn on Battery Saver selectively rather than leaving every power-limiting option enabled all the time.
These are Xiaomi’s general troubleshooting recommendations, not measured results from testing the C95 Pro. Menu names and feature availability can vary with software version and region.

What battery life does POCO claim for the C95 Pro?
POCO specifies a 7,500mAh typical battery. The company advertises up to 28 hours of video playback, 12 hours of video recording, 91 hours of music playback, and 46 hours of calls. POCO says its two-day battery claim and usage figures come from internal laboratory testing in a simulated comprehensive scenario; they are maximums, not guaranteed everyday results. Actual runtime depends on use, settings, network conditions, and the apps running.

After checking usage and trying selective adjustments, install the latest available system update. Xiaomi recommends updating as a general troubleshooting step for temporary issues.
