The fastest reliable way to earn Bloodpoints in Dead by Daylight is to combine normal Trial play with available Daily Rituals and Tome challenges, then check for a Bloodpoint incentive beside a role before queueing. There is no verified, permanently best role or points-per-minute strategy: incentives depend on current matchmaking demand, and event rewards are temporary.
Which Bloodpoint sources should you prioritize?
Bloodpoints are the game’s main currency, spent in a character’s Bloodweb to unlock perks, items, add-ons, and offerings. Behaviour Interactive identifies Trials, Daily Rituals, and Tome challenges as earning routes.

How to use role incentives without assuming a best role
Look for the incentive displayed beside a role’s play and ready buttons, then decide whether to queue for that role. In a June 2022 update, Behaviour Interactive described bonuses ranging from +25% to +100%, varying with matchmaking demand. That published range is dated guidance, not a promise about the bonus available today; rely on the live in-game display rather than assuming one side always pays more.
BHVR said the incentive is personal and may vary with region, matchmaking rating, and time. The same update says incentives are disabled when cross-play is off. Read the matchmaking update for those details.

How to make challenges add to normal match earnings
- Open your active Daily Rituals and Tome challenges before starting a session.
- Choose an objective that fits the role and actions you expect to play, rather than forcing a separate, inefficient routine.
- Work on it during Trials, where ordinary scoring actions can earn Bloodpoints at the same time.
- Check the objective progress afterward and select the next compatible challenge.
BHVR names Daily Rituals and Tome challenges as Bloodpoint sources, but its currency page does not give their current reward values. Check the client for the rewards attached to your active objectives.
What events and special rewards can add
Event opportunities can be substantial, but their dates and conditions matter. For example, BHVR’s 2026 Blood Moon announcement described an event track and daily login rewards totaling 1,000,000 Bloodpoints. That event ended April 16, 2026, at 11 AM ET; it is a past example, not an available reward now. See the event announcement.
A separate 2025 Blood Moon announcement said the event-exclusive Bloodshot Eyes offering granted 100% more Bloodpoints for event interactions during that event. That was an event-specific effect, not a permanent Bloodpoint boost. See BHVR’s 2025 event details. For any current event, follow its in-game rules and dates; do not carry forward old multipliers or rewards.

What to do if Bloodpoint earnings stop
Check your balance if ordinary Trial or challenge earnings appear to stop. A 2022 Dead by Daylight Support article says the cap for Bloodpoints earned through Trials, Daily Challenges, and Archives is 5,000,000, and recommends spending some in a character’s Bloodweb before earning more. It lists giveaways or promo codes, login bonuses, and compensation as exceptions that may take an account above the cap. The official sources identify earning routes and describe conditional matchmaking incentives, but do not rank current characters, perks, scoring actions, or builds by Bloodpoints per minute. Scoring values have changed over time; for instance, BHVR’s 2018 patch notes adjusted scoring events and offering values, so old numerical guides should not be treated as current instructions. See the 2018 patch notes. A practical approach is to combine Trial play and active challenges, and use a currently displayed incentive when its role fits your session.
